Brian, that satin black vinyl wrapped Tesla Model Y is absolutely beautiful and Hansshow has come out with another awesome product design!
I bought a retractable split sunshade for model y. Easy to install, easy to use. Sometimes when driving you need to move the shade either for those in the front so you can see the Tesla screen when the sun is too bright. Likewise anyone in the back also may like some shade or sun. Yes it’s manual but you adjust separately. I really like it. I had a full one piece before but like this one so much better.
For the OCD among us just stick on the whole felt piece and then punch a hole though for the screw. Or better yet wrap it in black.

Now some cars have dimmable tint glass roof. It would be great as a flexible underlay to add to the glass roof.

In your video, I did notice a difference in sound reflections with the sunroof closed. Sounds quieter, which is nice. I may be placing an order soon.

Tinting roof can cause problems, seen few model Y with cracked roof glass because of the tints. This is game changing.

I found the official Tesla net shade made a huge difference for me. Makes the AC feel so much colder and extends the cars range since you won't need the AC as much.
Always wondered what tesla AC is like. Most owners on RUclips live in cold climates so we don't get to hear about how good the AC is in very warm +40°C weather.

After installation, I have to hold the bottom down to open or close the shade. If I press the button and let go, the shade stops. What did I do wrong? Otherwise, a great product
Beautiful work...Question, if you put a Satin Wrap on a Tesla, Can you put the car thru a Car Wash and not work about it ruining the finish?

That's great and all, but I'll have you know they make a tint that blocks infrared, UV, etc. No longer deal with that notorious Tesla glass heat.

You don’t say how the front brackets are installed. On my Y there is no gap to fit the brackets in. Can you just force them in between the glass and the plastic frame?
It's great but it makes the viewing window much smaller.

I just installed mine, I'm noticing a tapping in the rear roof glass every time when I hit a rough road. do you have the same problem?
Does it cover up a big part of the glass ?

It takes away too much of the roof when installed. Takes away from the glass roof experience.
The shade closes from the back, which is too bad. Mostly I want the front shaded and the back open to the sky.
You can get the manual version that is spilt in the middle for your purpose. I have that but I prefer the electric shade.
I have one that is split. It works, but I tend to leave it in place since I am lacking a natural covering on the top of my head!@@kgflash4Sr

Tesla is like iphone. They lack common features that most of other cars have from factory. Just like how iOS18 is now finally bragging about how you can ‘customize’ the icon layout 😂
