hea man thanx for the vid, should you emphasize on the rear clips going in, also get a good shot of how the front mount bracket go in. great vid was really helpful
Does it actually reduce the temperature much tho? My guess, it's just going to heat up the sunshade. It's already tinted so putting anything on the inside isn't going to reflect much light out. If you had a lighter color paint like white or silver, maybe you put a similar color wrap on the glass roof to reflect more light.
Hey Brian I just installed my manual version but have not tried it out... Pain in the A$$ and I wish I seen this before I bought mine. Sharing your handicap I can relate. Need to reconsider... I'll be your friend is you help me install mine 😂
Thanks Bryan! I feel your pain. One question: I’ve heard this model can introduce some additional rattles or squeak noises in the interior. Have you noticed any of that after the installation? Thanks.
I don’t feel need it at all, i drove under the sun in two hot summer has no issues, and I won’t sacrifice the full view on my Tesla at all, that will be a huge lost! I would rather to tin the top class than putting a shade and blocking the side view
I heard doing this has cracked the glass on top because of the heat. Has this happened to you? I live in Sacramento and it gets over 100 here in the summer. I need this, but I don’t want my glass to crack. lol
@Hansshow is overpriced and not that good. I ordered the illuminated door sills and they barely worked, not they’re all dead. I don’t like that this thing reduces the glass area. For me it’s not as hot to spend $600 on this, I prefer to have it all open. When I’m in my wife’s BMW I feel claustrophobic without the glass roof.
Let's see... you can spend $600 for a power sunshade or $30 for a stationary one... tough decision - NOT. I guess I need more subscribers in order to get a free power sunshade. LOL.
I’d rather have the power one. I don’t want a stationary one taking up cargo space in the back and making it look ugly. Also, saves a lot of time just being able to click a button before getting out of the car to block out the heat versus having to put up the sunshade every time you get out of the car… With that said, I do not like how thick the bezel is on this product so, I’ll probably just stick to not having a sunshade.
This should be an accessory straight from Tesla....
Always entertaining videos from you, Bryan
NOTE: get magnet, hold against screw driver for 30 seconds...you have magnet screw driver for about 5 min
Would be a good OEM option for Tesla to have. Or any OEM with a glass roof.
thanks i would like vinyl on the top

A lot of tint shops won’t tint roof glass due to heat retention and shattering.

I live in Texas and I’ve never felt hot in my teslas and the sun coming from the top has never bothered me at all
I want one for the windshield too. Maybe it could auto close when the car locks. That’d be sick.
Do you have a way to compare the inside temperature on two similarly hot days? I’d be curious to see the tangible effect
Yikes $600! I would consider it if they had a cheaper manual one...
I'll gladly sweat in the car at that price

🙋♂️GREAT FOR THE FOLLICLY CHALLENGED BRIAN 😅💚💚💚

Are there any difference with your other installation video 8 months ago "Tesla Powered Sun Shade for Model Y"?
I was going to get this and I was so excited... but it's 800 USD shipping (not including the product) to where I live. Any Advice?
Hi where can you install it
I need one
I did tint it max still f hot
Did you order direct from hansshow, or direct feom china
Will this fit all model Y years?
Yet another thing that should have been standard from the factory. And isn't available for the Model S. 😔
Tesla next Model y juniper should not have any glass on the ceiling

Hyundai's are crap. Their gas and EVs

Cheaper to put a towel over your head 😮

Yes it’s a very easy decision, I’d pay the $600.
