- If Zack Snyder Edited Civil War's Airport Fight it... probably wouldn't look exactly like this but I wanted to give it a shot anyway. Please don't take this too seriously - this is just the result of a guy chucking a scene from a comic book film into premiere and shuffling it around a bit to give off a different feel. I hope you could enjoy it nonetheless!

Rhodes says, "turn him into a glider' it can he well assumeded that vision knows exactly where to shoot, at Sam's jetpack, to disable him going up, but him still able to GLIDE to the ground safely,
remember team ironman was going easy on them at first, but they were losing, so they turned it up a notch, but not one team or the other is TRYING to kill each other.
both teams know deep inside that they are a TEAM. and that they needed to be together. Black widow puts it best at "staying together, is more important than HOW we stay together" even TONY still tried to get Steve on his side before the battle even starts, Tony says so.ething along the lines of 'I don't wanna split the team up' and cap responds 'you did that when u signed', even spidey, who has no idea what the heck is happening , says to cap 'when u think your right, your dangerous'
But ultimately, cap is RIGHT. Cap knows that they cannot be controlled by the government. Only flaw in his argument, is this... "how do u know when to stop" that is what the supervision does.
Because sakovia is a PERFECT example, and yes, it was Tony's fault (although everyone forgets, it was Wanda who activated this path, but ok, I still love her) Washington DC is also a perfect example, if Steve had told TONY about hydra in shield, this movie would have ended way quicker and less casualties. Tony would have used his high IQ to hack into the mainframe, and disable the flying shield death machines, and landed them safely, instead of having them drop on innocent civilians on the ground :)
So while cap is still fundamentally RIGHT. Tony is correct aswell, to fix this, cap should have offered a change in the accords, which would've made a nice vote, and Tony would have agreed, and that's it, no fuss, no muss,
Also, for arguments sake, i will say i love cap and Tony equally, and i believe they are both right and wrong,

If Michael Bay directed this movie, there will be explosions everywhere for the sake of explosions. Blackwidow will be in a tank top during the initial running scene with slow mo zoomed at her assets. Also camera pans to so many action scenes that you don’t even know what’s going on.
It would also have hair fans for every close up with reflector lighting and high contrast teal/ orange color grading

One thing I'll say: Snyder's style for action is infinitely better than jump cuts, shaky cam, and banter.

The Hulk's entire character is built upon this concept that his anger is what gives him his power and it's the one thing he can't control. Then at the end of Avengers "I'm Always Angry" okay... So why did you fight the rest of the avengers earlier on?

I agree. Another thing he does really well in his movie is really focus on the human body and how muscles tense and react. That's honesty a thing I like. For example in his cut of JL, the Amazon's vs Steppenwolf scene was so intense and you can sense the strength of those warriors. This movie dosent have much of the actual physical aspects of a fight but yeah.
Never really realized how much Wanda actually did in this fight and without her they most likely wouldn't have gotten that far.

Snyder hasn't used slow mos in action sequences since Watchmen. Yes there are some moments here and there in Snyder cut but those are like 2 second slow mos and back to actual rate. In mos and bvs, he didn't use slow mos in action

In my humble opinion, Zack Snyder has one of the most visually stunning directing styles ever in the whole of Hollywood. If he were given to direct this scene, it would have been drastically different. But yes, it would have his unique color grading, Junkie Xl would be there, and use of slow-motion or crazy speed ramping, and most of all NoJokes,

Good point. Although even if for the novelty of the first time seeing it, this was definitely awesome as like an alternate (deleted scene) IMO, I'd only tone the drama down like 10%. Lol. There is an argument for the entertainment value of both an all action scene as well as one with heavy dialog and witty banter showing chemistry.

So you're trying to say that characters like black widow, cap, bucky, Ironman, Hawkeye, and Wanda, all of whom have seen the brutalizes of war, had no idea that once lasers started flying and buildings starting coming down had no idea that someone could get hurt? Vision was an all knowing ai and Scott spent serious time in prison yet they didn't think someone could get hurt in a battle like that. This is where the mcu loses me so often, it's like the characters know they have plot armor so they laugh during every battle scene

If visions aim was 5 inches higher he does kill someone. Don't say vision can't miss, he obviously missed falcon. As what many twitter users would call a “Snyder Cultist” I can this is absolutely hilarious and for the most part accurate but goodness gracious the color grading isn’t that bad guys I swear.
I actually really liked that part when Rhodes was falling. With a bit of balance between both the marvel version and Snyder, you get an Invincible kind of feeling.
You know that most of them won't get hurt and will get out alive so it was right for the original scene to have more of an action feeling to it instead of an intense one but when an actual human who might die comes in, you don't really know what might happen and the silence just adds unto that feeling.

It's not Snyder's editing that's bad, it's his writing
I haven't seen The Snyder Cut due to my distaste for the original movie. Seeing this however felt... Different. It put much more emphasis on the actions of the heroes rather than the dialogue. The slow motion was used brilliantly, highlight integral moments. When Rhodey fell, that shot was terrifying. The lack of banter really made this entire fight much more serious.
I don't think I could watch the entire MCU like this, or hell 2 or 3 of these types of movies back to back. But 1 or 2 movies like this would be a sort of treat on occasion.

This is way better than "jokes" every 40 secs. It almost feels like there's a threat in the movie not just alien robots and no one is hurt.
Joke or not, some of this was really well edited, and very beautiful at times. The moment that Scarlett Witch held the collapsing tower, was an awesome scene slowed down. It felt even more impactful the way this was edited.
Meme or no, this was very well done.
Debatable I thought it was well done showcasing the Synders Style.
But it showed how flawed it is. It's art, them but its badly paced and badly directed that really shows nothing of substance

I know this is a big meme but this actually made me appreciate some of the action more. Without the constant pauses for quips, the danger feels heightened, and some of the slo-mo really works. If some of the MCU's humor was thrown back in, I wouldn't mind if this was the real movie.
Yeah, the MCU can be a bit too quip-heavy (quippy?) at times.
I would let Ant-Man and Spider-Man be quip machines because it would be in character and some are too good to cut them, but yeah some of the characters shouldn't have as much quips as they do

Some of it yeah, but the slow, melodramatic music while Vision blocks their path to the jet and Wanda tries to stop it just kills the pacing super hard. And it also gives you ample time to think about how he should've probably just destroyed the jet. And the lack of music or anything at all when Rhodes fell kinda made the scene feel extremely boring instead of tense and desperate. Looked cool though.

The slo mo is great but I don't think even Snyder would use that much slo mo in 1 scene
Snyder use Slomo's for Specific things to build tension. The Vision slomo scene was not a good choice , Snyder never use slomo during an intense fight.

Comedy during suspenseful action kills the suspense. The quips and cringy jokes/dialogue during action scenes are terrible, and lose rewatch value.
@@9776722 True, but the reason there is so much comedy in this scene is because all these guys are just friends who had to choose between two of their friends (Cap and Tony). Which is why they were pulling their punches and cracking jokes. And the whole airport scene works so well because it wasn't the climax of the movie and instead the climax was a serious and emotional fight between Bucky, Cap, and Tony. So the air port scene worked great.
@@isaiahcrowell3578 nah... if that's the case then it defeats the whole purpose of the film being called Civil War, and was a kick in the nuts to the source material.... the reason there was comedy was because it's a Disney movie that caters to family friendly audiences.... mainly children. The title was completely wrong for the movie and it's plot.
And as for the so called "climax" the whole ending was one big plothole.
How the hell did Zemo just know that Tony Stark was going to find out where Rogers and Bucky were going to be, in order to show Tony, his parents being murdered by Hydra Bucky??? The scene was forced hard, to further the plot. It was a plot convince that made no sense. There's no way Zemo could have predicted that Tony Stark would show up... yet, he prepared a tape of his parents death, for Tony to watch.
I can't believe there's a version of this battle that's torturing me to finish it.
