It’s official! My Aunt is joining me for the 3rd movie! The movie we almost watched when I was younger.. this should be fun! What did you think about *THE LOST WORLD* ?
27:02 Just b.c. you missed that. This is not the same island than in the first movie. This is site B on "Isla Sorna", 12 miles away from "Isla Nublar". The island here is the place where they breed those things. It was not destroyed by the dinos but by weather :D
There is a great deleted scene (which is sometimes shown in TV airings) with Roland and Ajay. They've been on many safaris together, and Roland admits he's becoming bored, having hunted every major predator there is. When Ajay tells him that Ingen wants to hire him, he asks "what animal could possibly be worthy of my time?" We find out later that it's the male T-Rex. It also explains Roland's sadness upon learning of Ajay's death.
The CGI for The Lost World is honestly just as good as the first movie, they just had scenes in the daylight, and daylight rendering is one of the hardest things to get right (even to this day) At night (and especially in the rain) you can hide a lot of imperfections
Eddie probably has the most gruesome death especially for not "deserving it" out of the entire franchise. Guy did everything he could to keep everyone alive (Kelly and the 3 in the trailers) and never gave up. He had no shot at ever surviving, even if he got to the tranq gun
30:33 There is a theory somewhere that mentions how unlikely it is that T-Money could've unalived the entire crew because it was still in the hold and that Raptors did sneak onto the boat.
30:24 Originally, there was plans to have raptors that snuck on the boat, which would explain how all the crew could have died (especially at the captains wheel), but ultimately that was cut from the film. So technically, you are correct.
"How many SARAH'S do you think are on this island???" 🤣 Spielberg literally went to town with the T-Rex at the end. That was never apart of the book. He's allowed to have fun. Who says no to Stephen Spielberg? There is also a scene with Roland in the beginning that was cut from the beginning that adds so much and changes his character. He defends a female waitress against drunken patrons in a one handed fist fight. Now...that's chaos.
This guy with the hat has been a legit Dinosaur expert FOREVER.I remember seeing him when I was a kid back in the 80's. I learned about T-Rex's and all of them from him long before JP was a thing. That's why he wanted to be killed by a T-Rex. Good times. 11:05
The guy with the long hair and the cowboy hat is based on an actual dinosaur expert (paleontologist) Robert Thomas Bakker who among other things was the first to say that some dinosaurs were warmblooded.
I’ll say this now: I love all 6 movies, but The Lost World is still my favorite. My PERSONAL ranking of them is 2,1,5,3,4,6. I’m glad you’re continuing this series and I would like to know how you rank them all when you’re done.
@@hidoradaikaiju4205 they turned it all into an action/adventure/drama/ rather than sci-fi/horror/thriller like the OG series. I still enjoy them but have to fill the hole they left with Jurassic park analog horror XD

When Sarah fell it looked like she clipped one of them but maybe the one she clipped thought it was the other raptor that clipped him and it turned into a barroom brawl... still corny but also better explanation than they just decided to abandon their meal and start beefing for no reason at all. I can just hear the raptor that got clipped say in a comical jersey voice "ehhh WISE guy ayyyy?!"
I wouldn't say it's "corny" so much as just lucky. I've seen a clip of bears getting aggressive with one another just because they were too close to eachother while eating.
I've seen her act in other movies the girl playing his daughter as Kelly. I remember in a movie called A Little princess. There's others but I can't think of them off the top of my head expect for a little princess.
So Happy you are continuing this franchise❤ I Love All the Jurassic Park/Jurassic World Movies, I don't harp on the imperfections I just consider them Pure Entertainment. That's why most of my Favorite Movies are the one's that everyone else Hates, I just want to be Entertained ❤
Yeah I feel the same. I feel like a lot of people are overly critical of, or wannabe experts on, production, & effects, etc. As long as I like the story, it keeps my interest, & I relate to it in some way, chances are I'm gonna love it. Movies and TV isn't always meant to be "realistic" either. Especially when dealing with some element of Fantasy.
Idk if anyone has mentioned it but those little tiny dinosaurs that attacked the little girl in the beginning of the movie they have a venom that’s poisonous when they bite into you. And it’s okay when I was younger I used to get Julianne Moore and Demi Moor mixed up since they both had the same last name lol 😅😊 loved your reaction btw. 💚 This movie is my favorite out of the whole franchise.
The little dinos that mobbed the one bad guy that was in john wick 2... they have paralysis venom bites.. so they all bit him, then backed off and waited for him to collapse. Also, iirc from reading the books, the t-rex in the waterfall and the raptors in the tall grass were actually adapted scenes from the first book that werent used in the first movie.
Where did you read that a Compsognathus has a venomous bite? Never, ever read that. Were you thinking of Dilophosaurus who spit venom that cause paralysis? Of course, all of this information is fictionalized for film.
I'm sorry, but if a Tyrannosaurus rex (or any predator that's still living) stuck its head in my tent while I'm asleep, I'd be pissing/shitting myself. Key points: 1. The little green dinosaur is a carnivorous species called Procompsognathus. 2. In the novel of The Lost World, Cathy Bowman (the little girl on the beach) survived her ordeal with the Procompsognathuses. 3. You can tell the male and female Tyrannosauruses apart, since the female is large than the male. (similar to female Goliath bird-eating spiders, black widow spiders and praying mantises).
Alongside Eddie, Ajay deserves some credit for being a real one. When he screams for the men not to run into the long grass and they don’t listen, he ditches his pack before following them to save who he can. Nick van Owen then finds Ajay’s pack, just like Ajay must have hoped, because his pack has the radio frequency Nick uses to call in the airlift. So basically Ajay is the reason anybody got rescued at all.
Eddie will always be the GOAT of this movie for me. He risked his life to help the other three. Even when the rexes came back and were actively trying to get to him, he never stopped trying to save them.

The book sequel is just called The Lost World ( no "Jurassic Park"). So technically this sequel is "The Lost World" but the Jurassic Park was added to make it clear its the same franchise i suppose? And you were thinking of Ellie Sattler from the first movie... when Alan asked him in the first movie if he was married, he replied divorced, but "always looking for the next ex-Mrs Malcolm"... Sarah was the previous ex-Mrs Malcolm.
This had a french toast flavored cereal when it came out. The merchandising was insane back then. You mentioning smelling it random brought that memory back, wow
I also always found it crazy in this movie that the animal expert got scared in the waterfall by a milk snake and ran straight for a T Rex. A milk snake is completely harmless
I was 5 in 1997 when this movie came out. My grandma and step grandpa took my to see this in theaters. It remains MAYBE THE BEST/Most memorable theater experience I've ever had. I also saw "LOTR:The Fellowship of the Ring" in 2001, "The Mummy Returns" in 2001, Spider-Man 1 / 2 in 2002/2004", Inglorious Basterds
I just want it to be known that in the original Jurassic Park novel, those little green guys were munching a newborn baby. Michael Crichton definitely had no qualms about killing kids.
This is isla sorna this is the second island which was left to the wild over four years ago around the time of the first island isla nublar its believed sorna was the island they started on and moved to nublar
this movie literally gave me nightmares for years as a kid, i never saw the whole thing just the part of the t rex in the back yard, and i never knew it was actually from this movie until i actually watched it through years later
its jurassic park the lost world im glad you did not scream and run away with the first time seeing this unlike you did when you was a kid with the 1st one lol
The CGI of the first 3 films pretty much gets better and better each time. The first film is by far the best, but the effects are at least awesome in the 2nd and 3rd. They’re all cool visually cause they use a mix of practical and CGI
So the reason the crew on the boat died is because in the very beginning of the movie when they were getting on the island, the fisherman told them the river is the called “5 Deaths.” So when InGen arrived to pick up the T-Rex, they were eaten by whatever the local Costa Rican fishermen were afraid of.
The Actress that played Kelly (the daughter) was in a movie with the little girl from the beginning (Camilla Belle) called A Little Princess, Harriet the Spy, and She's All That. Outside of that, she hasn't really been in anything noteworthy.
@@mrflickswatches lol i looked up the patreon because i was hoping to be able to but I'll catch the edited version for free lol i was cracking up hardcore watching the first two, i'm excited for your next video on it. :)
For someone of Sarah's profession, she really kept doing rather stupid things. She approached a baby animal that lived in herds and scared it, of course the rest of the herd would react violently. She also didn't even try to wash off the baby rex's blood off her vest, which caused it's parents to follow the group, because they would want to investigate it Also Roland Tembo never broke the baby rex's leg, it was Ludlow who did it because he was drunk, and fell onto the rex
You’re right about the Velociraptors they came onto the ship and wreaked havoc and hopped off and they still manage to make it back surprisingly but for some reason they took that scene out so that’s why some people don’t like this movie very much bcuz of plot holes.
That's not correct the t-rex was always the reason people died on the boat. the velociraptors killing people on the boat is a theory that people made but isn't true
It's because of the chocolate bar we see T-Rex outside the tent in the next scene. Almost ended a friends life, who after being repeatedly warned DO NOT bring food in the tent (bear country). Pulled out beef jerky at midnight & started eating it. (What? this isn't 'real' food!) It is to every bear with-in 5 miles & now... So are you. I'm out'a here. Slept in the car.
Over all, the first one is probably better, but there's something about the setting of this one that I've always really likes (I mean, almost more so than the first). Particularly the place with the raptors fairly near the end.
btw this is not the same island as the first movie. The 3rd movie also takes place on this island (the one without fences). the 3 movies after that happen back at the original island.
In The Lost World we are on a different island called Isla Sorna which was Site B, where they first bred/made the dinosaurs and then brought them to the actual park. The original island in Jurassic Park was Isla Nublar. We actually don't see the original island, Isla Nublar until Jurassic World. After the failure of Jurassic Park, they let the dinosaurs fend for themselves and limited human interaction with the islands. Hammond aka KFC guy briefly explains this in the beginning with Malcolm.
I love Dragon Ball Z when I was child. I thought it was okay to like both: princesses stuff, some love stories and also animes such as Dragon Ball Z, Marvel and DC comics.
7:27 The cgi is about the same. But the animatronics are definitely an upgrade to the first movie. Anyone who insists otherwise is just being an elitist for the first film. When you watch the behind the scenes it's undeniable that they are just objectively more advanced than they were in the original.
The more cgi used the worse the movies got. There are a lot other reasons the later films fell short of the original Jurassic Park movie, but the departure from practical effects and robotics was a HUGE mistake. Their next mistake was trying to "modern day" things in the Jurassic World movies, but that's DIsney.
Have you ever seen Deep Blue Sea? It has Samuel Jackson in it(also randomly LL Cool J, lol I didn't even know he was a singer until my bf pointed it out)! If you haven't I WOULD LOVE to see you react to it!
As of this comment on this RUclips video, I am 4 minutes and 35 seconds into your reaction, and I just want to say. I disagree! I think John Hammond(KFC GUY) did learn from his mistakes in the first movie. Yes, he did make all new mistakes in this one. But him saying "For four years, I have tried to keep it safe from human interference." is supposed to imply that he's been trying to keep people OFF the island, in my opinion. Which... I applaud him for, considering the express purpose of breeding the dinosaurs in the first movie was so that he could show them off and have people coming in and looking and whatnot. But his express purpose in THIS movie was only to send a SMALL TEAM of people, four or five, and make a complete living fossil record in order to CONTINUE TO PREVENT people from getting onto the island so that people would be safe and the dinosaurs that he'd already made could continue living in peace without other people getting all up in their faces. I APPLAUD HIM for actually trying to learn from what he did in the first movie and trying to prevent people from going there and getting themselves killed.
It’s official! My Aunt is joining me for the 3rd movie!

"The only goose chase where the geese chase you." my ass. Dr. Malcom's never met a single goose in his entire life.

Julianne Moore the actress who played Ian’s girlfriend. I love her so much. She was in so much movies back then that I loved ❤
btw this is not the same island as the first movie. The 3rd movie also takes place on this island (the one without fences). the 3 movies after that happen back at the original island.
Damn bro 11:09 must have hurt more then getting hit by a nfl player I’d have lots of broken bones lol
Her mummy said prawns. Britspeak for shrimp.
you should watch the first Predator, I absolutely love the movie and I think you would like it too
Not you laughing like Flash the sloth from Zootopia. 13:11
Since I was 6 years old in 1992,yes, I´m a dinosaurs fan. Girls also likes that, not just the princess shit.^^
I love Dragon Ball Z when I was child. I thought it was okay to like both: princesses stuff, some love stories and also animes such as Dragon Ball Z, Marvel and DC comics.
Sarah is played by Julianne Moore.
You gotta react to King Kong 2005 movie 🎥🍿
I have seen it ! It was indeed amazing! Really long though lol
The book is sooo much better!!! Just read it again after 25 years! The movies are Awesome but the books kick ass also!
7:27 The cgi is about the same. But the animatronics are definitely an upgrade to the first movie. Anyone who insists otherwise is just being an elitist for the first film. When you watch the behind the scenes it's undeniable that they are just objectively more advanced than they were in the original.
Wonderful !
I indeed have ! That’s the movie that made me afraid of sharks lol
I think all the casting was good but if i had to pick who was the GOAT? Then its Jeff Goldblums character
You should watch Jurassic World lost Kingdom and Jurassic World Dominion
You actually misspelled the second Jurassic world movie it's fallen kingdom not lost kingdom
Honestly, I think it's totally fine to hate a fictional character and hope for their downfall.
Uhhh the T Rex! Yesss! Da G.O.A.T.
we knew exactly what you were asking when you asked who the "g.o.a.t" of JP is but we felt the need to give you the actual answer.
I can appreciate that
