Hehe, I thought it was a drink container, just looking at it. But then the whole drawing looked like a snaky version of my life so I couldn’t help seeing a book, Frappuccino, warm clothes, a cozy “couch,” and music. The only thing missing is a couple of furry snakecats constantly crawling up onto her. 😂😂 With that, you would have a complete image of my ideal life!!!

One of the things to understand after reading All T. this is the fact that the Second Empire of People existed for 80 MILLION YEARS. I don't even believe that a civilization can exist for so long, and this says a lot about how long all the myriad creatures have lived a peaceful and cheerful life. Yes, they will be destroyed, but these are just Tomorrow's, one blink of the eye for universe.
True, the whole saga is a pinhole view of all time, considering the untold number of times the universe has exploded and imploded back into a singularity in an endless cycle.

Also, the Bug Facers DID in fact join the Second Empire! Just not until it was half way through that 80 million years. Race contact went: Satyriacs-Killer Folk, Tool Breeders, Modulars-Pteros-Asymmetrics, Sauros-Snakes-Symbiotes-Sail People, then Bug Facers. At some point they realized the Asteromorphs were a thing all throughout the galaxy and were terrified, but quickly discovered the Asteromorphs didn't care about joining the Second Empire.
I’ve even talked to Krosemen through email, in the print edition, he’s going to be fixing the issue of the various species never physically meeting and mingling. I bought up that 80 million years is A LONG time to never physically meet, and not very scientifically sound, since even only 10-20% light speed can get you colonization of the whole galaxy in a few million years.
The vibes were simply immaculate. That's how you survive 80 million years.
Snake person, Alan Watts, a perfect match for the end of the chillest species.

Yknow, after millions of years of twisted evolution, humanity at its core still likes to sit down, get high on shroom vapors, and listen to some banger music.
The snake people just seem so chill to hang out with. I wouldn't mind just cracking open a nice beer, sitting down and just chilling with them.

It just happens that I’ve been a huge admirer of Alan Watts for almost 10 years now. Recordings of him have gotten me out of dark places. The comfort and wellbeing he has given me is immeasurable. He’s without a doubt one of my greatest heroes :)

One of the things that I liked on All Tomorrows is that the author goes deep into the culture of their creations. It's simply amazing to see that they have ways to find comfort, to be stylish, a way to escape from reality (I was really surprised when I saw some of the "aliens" using drugs). The level of details are truly amazing!

I keep coming back to this, the animation is simple but gorgeously complex in its own right, the sound design is top notch and makes for an emotional and effective experience, and completly conveys how I feel the snake people move and are, I love it and it deserves so much more recognition.

Honestly Gravitals deserved no mercy from Asteromorphs
The Asteromorphs didn’t wipe them out because they were too useful. Also they didn’t really care about mortals until after the war. *Then* they felt guilty and tried to help the subjects. Before that the Asteromorphs were like “Oh no. Anyway…”
I like the implications that the snake people rebelled SO MUCH that the gravitals were forced to personally invade their world and not just cause death by nuclear winter.

I just finishing All T. I started it cuz of the meme but damn, what a ride, it truly made me feel something and think of our present, I haven't truly processed the novel so I cannot put into words what I think, yet I can only recommend it, you can finish it in one sitting.

Snsje people lives underground, so it make sense that the gravitald had to resort to ground based maneuvers, as blocking out the sun or meteor striking the world may not prove to be too effective against people who have the crust of the planet above them.

Actually, the vibrational music probably comes from a vibrator-shaped speaker (in the book its on the lower right of the illustration). It doesnt say it comes from rhe floor. It doesnt say hes playing an instrument either, just says hes smoking while reading and 'listening' to music (implying they interpret vibrations as sound).
