Thanks for the video! I just replaced my rx350’s handle (bought a new part from Lexus and the tool from Amazon) and replaced it in under an hour. Things I learned were: make sure the window is rolled down, be mindful of the little plastic tabs that snap the panel back on as they come out easily and can disappear, and hook up the bottom light first when reassembling. I’m going to pop off the passenger side next and fix the door lock as it’s sagged too low after it was “fixed” by my mechanic.
2008 RX350 exterior door handle came off accidently after removing a door lock. However when we put the handle back it did not stay secured, and we could not figure out why? How has the JB Weld held up?
My door lock mechanism is switched somehow ahaha. When I press unlock, the door locks. What did I do wrong?
There are two cables that go to the interior door handle assembly. You apparently switched the reassembly.
