  • Body camera footage from March 10 shows the moments Akron police officers found three bodies that were bound, gagged and shot in the head. Detectives later spoke to neighbors in hopes of finding clues as to what happened and how the three men were killed. “It’s upsetting,” one neighbor was captured saying in the footage. “It’s gross.” Investigators were able to track down the suspected killer - 58-year-old Elias Gudino - and charged him with aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder. Police say more charges and arrests could be coming soon.

Its interesting to think about, we in the first world rarely see death up close. But for people in developing countries, and even for most people in the past... death is just a part of life. Even young kids would know what death looks like. We are lucky to be so insulated from it for the most part. Although I wonder how lucky we really are. Seeing so much death would give those people a deep appreciation for everyday life, and a clear vision that this world is not meant to be our home. Our true home is in heaven, with Jesus. But we curl up in our cocoons and medicate and entertain ourselves, to stay as far away from the reality of death as possible. For anyone who can't escape it so easily... maybe they are the truly blessed ones.

When I was 17 my xgfs dad killed himself in front of me and I didn't realize how bad it was till years later after we broke up because I was just trying to be there for her. As he lay dead and hearing screams all around me from his wife and kids it was just ,unreal. I would sometimes be driving and look over and see his face and the knife was a kitchen knife so sometimes If I saw a knife that looked similar I would relive the whole scene. He had said some words to me before he died but I know he was in pain from his wife cheating and I didn't take it to heart. Therapy helped though and would recommend any to give it a try at least

The graphic nature of it affected me deeply…for like a month..and then I stopped thinking about it. To the point where I couldn’t actually remember if it really happened. At 24 years old I started having flashbacks suddenly and it has… ruined me. His little face torn up from being dragged, the way neck was a unnaturally twisted. I see them now as vivid as if I was there. Please please please don’t neglect therapy. In just like ten weekly sessions with a therapist I’ve come tremendously far in all aspects.

So what happened was the suspect(possibly suspects still tbd) kidnapped 4 men from youngstown, ohio he bound, gagged and shot them all. One survived the bullet grazed his head and he played dead. The boddies were tossed out along side the road in various places. The police later learned that witnesses had seen a disoriented bloodied man walking down the road and thats when they went to the hospital to speak to him because they believed he was involved in the tripple homicide. The man did not speak english so they brought in a translator. When the man was released from the hospital into police custody they stopped at a gas station while transporting him to the police station for further questioning. While at the gas station the witness pointed at a man ahead of him in line and said something alonf the lines of "thats him officer he did it.". After questioning the suspect they put him at the locations of the bodies and placed him under arrest.
