TWO HOURS of RF&P Trains at Cherry Hill Rd. in Dumfries, VA Ft. HUs, EMDs, Foreign Power, and More!

I think we might’ve found our new favorite spot on the RF&P! While the northern portion of the CSX RF&P Subdivision is home to several unique photo opportunities and picturesque locations, there’s not too many places for one to sit down and listen to some good horn action at a road crossing. There’s only a handful north of Fredericksburg, with Featherstone Rd being the other close one, however, it lies in a quiet zone. Cherry Hill Rd. on the other hand…anything but quiet! Since the start of summer, we’ve been out here as often as possible, and have caught just about everything our sub has had to offer! From Heritage Units galore to EMD leaders, and freight trains fast and slow. It’s been quite a month here, and we decided to throw it all together for you all to enjoy! The latter half of the video is where things REALLY get interesting, as those videos were taken following the cab signal suspension on the subdivision 😉 Anyone who’s a fan of horns will love this, as it features a WIDE variety of horn shows, spams, sequences, and even a Shave and a Haircut!
