Historia Naturae (Live Score - Excerpt)

An excerpt of Jan Svankmajer's 1967 surrealist film, Historia Naturae. An eight-part animated natural history, with each taxa accompanied by a different style of music: Aquatilia (foxtrot), Hexapoda (bolero), Pisces (blues), Reptilia (tarantella), Aves (tango), Mammalia (minuet), Simiae (polka) and Homo (waltz).
With an original new score performed live by Angela Letizia and Cameron Kirkpatrick as part of Backyard Band/with's 2009 summer series in Boston.
