One of the most valuable things you can do when learning a craft is just to observe other people work. You should try to experience as many workflows as you can so you can find out what works best for you, and integrate a mashup of other's processes into your own.
Often times you'll stumble onto 1 trick, hack, or shortcut that will totally revolutionize your workflow, or better yet, inspire you to look deeper into every element of your system and determine which processes are there for a good reason and serve a useful purpose, and how much of it is just habit that's gone years without optimizing.
This week, and over the course of the next 3-4 weeks, I'll just work though my process for producing my own podcast Reminiscent | A Pop Punk and Emo Music Podcast. Hopefully a few things in here will allow you to look into your own workflow and find some things you can tighten up, and I would immensely appreciate any feedback on things I can be doing better!
