It's all about structure!! Especially when it comes to podcasting - you want to keep your listeners engaged throughout the entire interview. That's why I've incorporated video to keep my listeners visually engaged to avoid them exiting the episode early on. I'll also post snippets to my Instagram/Instagram Stories and LinkedIn to highlight parts of the interview I really want to drive home to my audience! Very valuable and insightful advice, great video! :)
This is honestly some of the best podcast formatting stuff I have come across. Straight to the point, with sharp graphics and great examples. Keep it up!
I agree. Structure is very key and as we all learn, I'd be interested in some feedback. Kindly, please let us know your thoughts anchor.fm/nicetomeetyou and also what you think here instagram.com/nicetomeetyou_podcast/
The insight on utilizing a structured approach with three phases (A, B, C) to capture attention is enlightening. I found the insights on structuring podcast content to be really valuable and practical. This post has definitely inspired me to rethink how I approach creating podcast episodes.
I have just started my RUclips podcast channel and looking to start my podcast on anchor tomorrow so this video seriously gave me the structure I needed to move forward! your voice and pauses are so soothing I enjoy how you add periods in speech
This is the best podcasting how-to video I has seen as of now... since I started searching. All the others seem scanty or focused on hardware... you share meat on the bones, not just bones. Thanks!
00:00 🎙 Structuring content in podcasting is crucial for capturing listener attention and setting yourself apart. 00:58 🤔 Creativity isn't limited by structure; it guides and enhances your unique style and perspective. 01:39 🧠 Our brains are wired to love patterns, making structured content more engaging and memorable. 06:31 📜 Using Aristotle's "phases of three" (ABC) helps maintain listener engagement throughout your podcast episodes. 08:34 🎧 A well-crafted outro should reflect on the episode, include a clear call to action, and tease the next topic to keep listeners coming back.
Aristotle's "phases of three" (ABC) is a concept used to structure content effectively, ensuring it engages and retains audience attention: A. **Phase A**: Introduce and set up the topic, interview, or story. This phase grabs initial interest and outlines what listeners can expect. B. **Phase B**: Dive deeper into the topic, interview, or narrative. This phase develops the content further, providing more detailed information or insights. C. **Phase C**: Conclude by reinforcing key points or themes. This phase often includes a strong takeaway or memorable closing, leaving a lasting impression on the listener. This structured approach helps maintain clarity, coherence, and engagement throughout podcast episodes, aligning with how our brains process and remember information in patterns of three.
I love how no realised, they added the same structure to the video! 1. The intro - Made us start thinking/believing the video will make sense. 2. Phase A - Explained how our brain loves patterns. 3. Phase B - Explained The above steps and the ones below. 4. Phase C - Explained how outros work 5. Outro - Completely exploited how our brain loves patterns, LOVE IT HAHAAHA.
Podcast does develop a healthy attitude of spending quality time. I have taken first few lessons and I am happy , I gave it a try. Will continue my participation . Thank you very much.
I don't know how to thank you for this. Whether it is going to be really useful for me remains to be seen but there is no dispute that this is good value for the time I spent listening to you. Well crafted and well presented!
I'm interested in starting a podcast and this gave me an amazing start in how to structure my episodes! I already have part of a template worked out for myself. Thanks so much.
Really valuable stuff here! 💪🏼 The organization seems to really been the key to a successful podcast. Thanks for the pdf of the structure 🙌🏼 very generous of you!
Structure is more important then "this is how much money you can make in a podcast". Sure, money is deeply coveted yet I want profitable information. Thank you thus far 💙💎
This some very great information and I will definitely implement it in my podcast. I was thinking as you was talking how I could go about and give a good intro on a sports podcast especially if Im talking about games, players, stats etc...it seemed like it would be a little difficult but Im sure if I brainstorm some ideas I will be able to come up with something good....thanks again
