The coolest lego video ever. I forwarded this video to my 9 year old son who requested this set as his X-mas gift. So he knows what daunting task is up to do. My requirement is that he builds by himself. Lego labels this set as for 18+, almost as x-rated (LOL) but he's a clever little guy. He'll manage.

impressive and extremely detailed set. if the price was lower i would not hesitate to buy it for a second. so I hope it gets cheaper. great speed build!
You can probably get one on bricklink without the box and instructions for cheaper
Original set as is will never get cheaper, as with most Lego sets, it will only get more expensive with time. Especially because of all the unique branded pieces and wheels.

Wouldn't it be absolutely awesome if they made variants of sets like these where all the outer pieces were clear.
As for the price, I was hesitant to buy it... I was looking at it as my wife and I were about to go to sleep and as soon as I heard the words "just get it" I jumped out of bed for my wallet lol

If it already isn't too late, The bugatti has more pieces related to the sequential gearbox than the Sian does. If you were thinking of building your own, the bugatti has more possibility

How many stages was there to complete the car?
Was on pack 3/4 and building the back of the car and then remembered my mum threw away the empty bags a day before along with the small boxes that were supposed to have the rubber bands, I knew I used all them and the one inside was just a spare but had to watch this speed build just to make things sure, thank god!!!! If I would have needed a rubber band then I would have been screwed and would have had to order one from eBay or something

Hi, I just finished building box 1. I have a few additional pieces left over... Is this normal or did I miss something?? Ive got a spare elastic band, gear, black connectors and a small green bar etc

Does box number 6 have just the wheels and tires? or does box number 6 have the wheels, tires, AND the 1x1 round printed pieces? I am very concerned as I opened box 6 and did not get the 1x1 round pieces in box number 6. Do those round 1x1 pieces come from box number 5?

Raggle fraggle... I checked the wheel rotations several times while building this. Somehow still managed to get to box six before realizing that they began counter-rotating somewhere along the way. No clue if I'm going to, or be able to, unbuild far enough back to fix it.

Hi! I just bought one of these and it will be my first Lego Technic build. In fact, it will be my very first ever Lego build! Do you have any tips or hints for beginners ? Anything I should Avoid doing? Should I get sorting containers or something?
That always helps. Good lighting and taking your time to make sure you follow the instructions exactly helps, too.

I wonder why Lego isn't using the new differential in the new sets, it only appeared in the Top Gear rally car but not again, I think the new differential would've been nice in this set

Lego has brake discs and calipers now, cool! but the calipers spin with the wheels though?
No, but the calipers are purely decorative.

It does bug me that the engine sits on top of the gearbox.

This set looks just too good for me to not buy it. I must get this set, whether it's in a month or two years. It is expensive, but probably because of all the new pieces, pieces in new colors, the big pieces, and tires and all that. So I'm not going to complain about the price. Amazing set!!

So I finished both the Lambo and Bugatti. Putting together I was able to move the engine pistons on both, now that it is complete can I still do that somehow? I dont see how I can turn anything to make them move. Is that now hidden?
The pistons move when you rotate the wheels, mate...
@@searme holy crap. I just took apart way too much to find out the issue was both cars where not in gear! Very cool but very annoying for me. Took me a while to put it back together
