I think both builds are similar when assembling. Sian wins with more sofisticated functions but me personally prefer design of Bugatti over Lamborghini ( also in real life)

dont know if you know this, but if you turn the key on the bugatti a little more, after it rises, the spoiler adjusts itself in the correct and real position(like in the real car) . you have to turn the key with a little more force
For a starter technic set with a gearbox and firing pistons, I recommend the Ducati panigale v4r as it’s not as complicated but it’s gearbox is just a smaller and more simple version of these, but is the same idea. Also it still looks super awesome
Buggatti has a lil bit more good looking box and its probably more known and kinda fancy, while Lamborghini was very simple just green all over and with a bit more features, my choice is probably Lamborghini
No, the lambo’s box is not just green all over. It’s literally the Sian car design integrated into the box. Then you Open the box and see the similar Lambo design while the Chiron is just a puzzle of a picture and no creativity put into the box.
These Lego technic sets aren't something that I would recommend assembling on a work night. A 6 pack of beer on work nights, no problem, but, doing a Lego technic build, no way. Only on a night when you don't have to work the next day should you ever bring out the Legos.
I'm working on FatBoy as of now. After this vid, I think Sian will be a better choice for my next step, but why the color I know not :/ Sian's functions are modern, but Chiron's color takes advantage.

I miss the Porsche in this comparisson which was the first in line of these three. The Porsche also was a masterpiece in my opinion. Also that box was to good to touch ;-)
Used to have the chiron. The gear box did work in itself but did not effect the engine at all (ratio) no matter what gear it was in. The speed of the valves was always the same. Has that changed with the lambo???
You can fix it by using brown frictionless pins for the suspension arms, there is a guide online that shows you how to do it. My rear suspension is working flawlessly now, but I missed a few pins for the front one and it sags a bit too.
I picked up the Sian as an Xmas present but I treated myself before Xmas to set 8865, I got 8880 back in 94’ so I was very keen to see how these old school originals compared to the new breed of super cars, I do still prefer 8880 over all of these and it’s funny how 8865 is completed in around 30 steps where the Sian is almost 1100 steps, I’m not too mad on the Porsche, but the Daytona looks incredible, shame it’s just a basic RWD and engine gearbox set up
The functions are better on the Sian, but the looks and colour has to go to the Bugatti. Considering this is going to go on display in my room, I might as well go for looks. Bugatti imo
When I was a kid I was so into Lego but now I've kinda lost interest, the technic supercars jus look so coll though. I prefer the Lambo its just more refined and I like the door mechanism. Its sooooooo expensive though, for the money I could buy the new iPhone SE!
The thing is about the chiron is that it doesn't look like the real car, while the sian look like the real car more than the chiron look like the real car, but the sian have the blue connecting pieces all over the place making the color a bit off, but the blue connecting pieces don't really appear on the chiron because it's blue so it looks like a part of the car color.
I have got Both and you need to choose. Chiron Interior and ass IS incredible but Sian front and Doors Are great too. In my opinion maybe Sian but they Are both great.

The Bugatti has a w16 engine not a v16. The bugatti line (around the door) isnt shaped correctly in your build. The bugatti's wing (spoiler) has 1 more stage if you turn it more then you did. ALSO, These arent UCS sets. There just known as the Technic Ultimate Series. TUS not UCS

What do you mean "roll freely"? If you put it in gear (forward position), you can adjust the "speed" the pistons move in the engine by using the paddle shifter in the left side of the interior. In the middle position (neutral), the pistons do not move at all, and in reverse, the pistons move, but you cannot change the speed as it completely bypasses the gearbox. The car should roll in each mode, the only difference is whether the pistons move and whether you can shift actual gears.

Hi, I got a question here wondering if you can help me: on step 220, do you think the grey component should go into the red component or the blue one, or just stay between them? It will make a big difference.
I have all 3, they look so good together because the colours just pop like mad, I was gonna say it’s a w16 not a v16 but looks like some other people have already commented on that
A v16 has 2 banks of 8 cilinders. A W16 has 4 banks of 4 cilinders. The only difference between the real Chiron and the lego chiron is that on the real Chiron, all cilinders are on one crankshaft instead of three.
I've noticed if you push down on the rear suspension all the way on the chiron it does not come back up. So I hope when I save up for the sian it's fixed.(12 hrs build time for me 11 yo)

I was missing the green flexible tube that is used in the spoiler, when I found out I went to the missing pieces section on the LEGO site, I’m supposed to receive the missing piece next week. Mistakes happen, but their customer service more than makes up for it!

they're all according to the orignals: both chiron and sian are all-wheel drive in real life, porsche gt3 rs and daytona sp3 are rear wheel drive.
