Billy is such a nice guy and a gentleman, and it was cool how they split the cost and donated the suit. Indeed, a sharp dressed man and a class act.
Another fake episode again . That suit was sold by Rubylane a few year ago . That woman is Murray the Magician (pawn star expert) girlfriend. . Rubylane also sold Keith Richards and Roy Rogers Nudie suits , both didn't go over $25 grand . So no way was this 40.
Also , notice they never touch the pants , that's cause Gibbons name is on them .

Years ago I met Billy Gibbons in the Memphis airport. He was as affable in this video as he was with me back then. A true gentleman.
He seemed to be a truly nice gentleman.
It's always refreshing to know the money doesn't always go to their heads.
The guy who wears that costume will definitely be a Sharp Dressed Man.

They know weeks maybe even a month in advance who and what they're buying, but the deals themselves are not scripted, however they might add some scripted stuff later on. In this case I think they knew going in Gibbons was gonna throw an offer out, and he knew exactly where he wanted the suit to go to.
The excitement for the 50k was what sealed it for me that it was scripted, also that he didn't low-ball her. Remember, he takes all the risk.

I’m pretty sure they also did paperwork and autograph in some sort of way to prove that the item is authentic. Museums don’t take items without further evidence so they probably did a lot more after the film is finish
Billy Gibbons is my absolute favorite guitarist of all time. Always has been. I've seen ZZ Top live a handful of times, and I'm not ashamed to admit, every time he plays guitar, it brings tears to my eyes.

My jaw dropped when he walked in. How insanely cool. Also still paid a portion of something he lost. Insane.
In the mid 70’s I worked at a copy shop on Lankershim and Hesby, we saw Nudie all the time, and his silver dollar lined Caddy!
There music is so great but never would I have thought he was so soft spoken and personable great guy
This particular episode of the pawn shop with the jacket and all, is by far the best beyond the fairest deal that Rick has ever given a customer; where Rick offered a customer $15,000 more than what the she wanted. Without him trying to rip them off.(like he and or the shop normally does). (Though we all understand the reason why; all three plus the museum would come up on top)

That was a most generous gesture Rick and Billy did for Dani. Paid her well above her asking price and then donated the suit to a museum.
This is one of the best episodes I have seen in awhile..
When I was in Nashville playing in 1977, Nudie had an outlet there since the 1950's and made suits for Hank Sr. and Patsy Cline's skirts. There was another guy doing the same thing back then named Tony Alamo. It seems he got in some trouble with drugs, I can't remember, but his suits were just as nice but cheaper, probably made for the musician who thought his or her star was rising. This was the greatest video in Pawn Stars history for me. RIP Dusty Hill.

Far freakin out. Awesome to see Billy on an episode of Pawn Stars. I still remember the first time I heard a ZZ Top song. I was a junior in high school in Rock Springs Wyoming, and in a friend's car he punched ZZ into an old 8 track player. I was immediately stunned by the sound--as if it had come right out of my own soul. We listened to several tracks, but the first I heard was "Funky Dogs and Nasty Kings," a song that if I remember right was written in 1975 by the 3 band members and Pat Travers too. On first impression I was blown away and have been a big fan ever since, and still impressed.
