Do you enjoy the new camera angle? It makes me look more like a normal height person imo. While also keeping the footage a bit more steady. But let me know what do you think?
I've just applied for a few barista jobs in my area, i have no experience but i am motivated into gaining some just because of watching these vids lol.
I don’t think most these people have worked at a busy coffee shop before. If they did, they would not be critiquing you. You’re doing great brother keep it up 😎😎
Being a barista myself,I like to watch this kind of videos across RUclips. I like the camera angle and th way you handle problems coming on the way. Keep on posting :)
In a perfect world you are right, I tend to try and not re steam the milk if there is a larger quantity of it. If there is just a finger of it left I tend to just add fresh milk on top, it doesn’t change the taste in my opinion.
Hey! Yes as explained in one of the other videos. I’m working alone, which is particularly awkward in this restaurant as it is not setup for takeaway. So i need to move around the restaurant to the till to take customers orders then back to coffee machine to make the order. So there is a lot of multitasking involved trying to get as many orders at the same time, so customers don’t wait alone unattended. Also I can’t interact with them as much as I would want to, since I need to go away from the till and they were not allowed to come inside because of Covid-19’s restrictions. So basically I would take order, take payment, cash out, make the coffee, serve them. Also serving food if there is an order. Beside that I would be making sure the whole working area is cleaned, stocked and do different prep for the day or next day.
We use Mazzer grinder which is extremely reliable and good in my opinion. Im not sure if I understand the question, if you are talking about grind weight vs extraction time? Its actually the correlation between them that make that perfect espresso shot. You should always play around with those settings and taste the espresso to get to the taste you would want!
@@jamesarevalo1626 i think in barista at work vol.2 i explained I always weight my coffee at the starting of my shift first 2-3 hours and if the dosage in those hours doesnt move, then I tend to skip it. As i can somehow eyeball it if it is the correct amount. I will every now and then weight it, just to make sure everything is still correct.
Hey. I only just came across your channel 😊 I love watching barista vlogs because I’m a barista too. Glad to see another in NSW on RUclips. Were you guys open through lockdown?
I really enjoy the video but I think what would make this video even better would be to add some music since your not commentary I think adding some calm relaxing music can make ur content strive even more and even get more viewers and I think you should cut when you pressure the milk but everything else is great and I really enjoy these videos
First-timer here. I like watching this particular video but I'd like to say that I'm worried about your left-hand shaking uncontrollably. Are you okay?
Thank you for showing concern. To be fair i’ve had shaking problems in my hand since early age, not really sure why and never went to see doctor about it. First it was hard for me to work certain jobs, and some days are much much worse then the others. But with time I’ve learned to somewhat live with it and try to not give it much attention, is what makes it work for me. That being said being barista doing latte art, is definitely one of the most challenging jobs to do, with the type of tremor I have.
They could definitely be done better by all means, but thats how it goes, not everything is always your best work. Wouldn’t know about no contrast or super milky though.
@@timo.hribovsek you can get little filing tips , they have a rigged edge and will clean the holes in steam wand properly when you poke it through. You can use a spanner to wind the steam wand tip off. Try to clean it thoroughly, soak in caustic ( clean really well after that)

Don't cut out milk steaming. It's all part of the process and I'm here for it
Sorry my man, its the wand thats so weak and slow

I agree.
such an awesome pov footage! surprised at the minimal tamping technique. haha but as long as coffee tastes awesome, happy days!
You shouldn't re steam milk. It's a different taste after the first time because of the molecules and sugars

Resteam as in using a stainsteel steel steam wand?. If so, everywhere practice you find milk to produce small pitchers for latte art
Love this angle
Im glad you enjoyed it!
Nice 15 Minutes i love it
Thank you!
Very relaxing to watch 🤗
Glad you think so!
Hey , really nice video .. as weird coffee person i needed this content ... thanks timo

エスプレッソマシンはどこのメーカーを使ってますか?
Its Wega Polaris
do you multitask as a cashier as well? like taking money from customer and back to making coffee? and what you have to do between that

Hey, thank you and welcome to the channel! Yeah we were open for takeaway coffee and breakfast. Now we are a proper restaurant.
I loved it
What machine is that..and is it easy to operate
Coffee machine is Wega Polaris EVD 2 group.
And it is probably one of the easiest machines i I’ve ever worked on.
Hi first time watcher here.. curious to know why your left hand is so shaky?
If only I would know haha. I try to not give it too much attention and it gets better
Nice video 🤘🏻 🇧🇷
Thank you, amigoo 😊
i dont think u put on cacao powder ontop after latte is right. I think u should put it in the espresso before latte art
I do believe it doesn’t matter, taste wise
I start my barista job next week so I'm learning from u lol
Wish you all the best in getting the job

I noticed you weren't tamping properly the coffee has to be completely level and then Tamp it
Good eyes, we try our best.
I wish u stir in the sugar to distribute it otherwise it sticks to the bottom and can't taste it until the end
You are definitely right, I would normally stir it in. But like I’ve mentioned in the video i somehow forgot to
New subscriber from Philippines here
Welcome to the channel! And thank you for subscribing 🙏
Bro you need to level your coffee before tamping....
Could definitely do that, unfortunately did not have a distributor at that job. But was leveling it with temper as much as I could.

I have shaky hands just like u
I have managed to fix it, with implementation of millions of healthy habits! so I'm sure so can you.
I see a hot left the machine
Sorry I’m not sure what you mean by that.
you tremor?
Yeah, sure do! Some days much more than the others though.
ur hand shaking so much . ain't normal
Yeah it does get really bad sometimes. Been like that since a little kid
@@timo.hribovsek time to visit a doctor;)
Why you hit things on table.. pretty anoying
If you are talking about the pitcher? It’s to remove any excess bubbles.
Hope I didn’t annoy you too much with it.

Makes sense!
Its a misophonia thing! Keep the good work!
So do you have filing tips to clean the steam wand properly? The build up can be insane between services, or is it just bad pressure?
Also that noise isn't burning milk , the steam tip is either to close the the jug wall, or not enough air was introduced.
The wand just doesn’t have a strong pressure. It’s not as bad as I say, I’m just used to much stronger wands
Thank you for the explanation, you might be entirely right!
