Brilliance means it was deliberate. Let's be honest, this was a one in a billion chance that the three races are so complimentary. The balance between air and ground and early game versus late game, the techs, everything... I mean yeah, the concept is deliberate. OK I guess you're right this is brilliance. Case in point: I started playing SC in 2001. It's 2024 and it drew me back in.

Cloak, a bunker and repair. The wraiths are going to continue to be a threat so the zerg can't mass everything to break the terran and he needs detection. Slowerlords won't cut it if you're moving across the map so zerg needs to tech up and then the terran can tech up as well.

I believe hydra's explosive damage are way more effective against wraith's. Not that i play as zerg tho, but clearly going mutalisk agaist wraith is not a good plan. I believe that sometimes this type of play, that no one use except some expert or a experimenting guy, tend to confuse the oponent. I mean here we are talking of pro's but even then, i suppouse not many terran go for this build, so probably not a lot of zergs know exactly how to beat it. The ensnare is a good counter but for it depends on a lot of factors to be succesfull, like hiting the timing of having the queen with energy before getting reck, not missing the spell shot wich will be challenging with that type of micro. I still believe going hydra and aiming for a longer game is the way to deal with it, becouse with that level of micro, you would never beat the wraith + valkyrie with only mutalisk + scourge its just too much splash damage and movement unless you have the numbers wich again with that harassment of the drone's even if it dont get killed, you get way behind in resourses, resourses that you need to have more units if the plan is to overwhelm the enemy with scourges and mutalisk.
The few times i did manage to use the really dificult corsair + reaver tactic back when i did play all day this game, i think many zergs are not use to deal with it, and end up not knowing what to do. And when you have your opponent in a defensive position for too long, that give you a window for getting more bases, more resourses, more production in general. And im not for sure a genious at shuttle+reaver micro, but when you strike zerg's with that flexibility they just crumble really fast. You go drop, kill all within seconds with 3 shuttle full of reaver, and get out before they can counter you. I love that strategy for that, but its really hard to manage so many shuttle in direct fight with the zerg army. I feel like this wraith strategy is doing kind of the same effect, zergs that are not really prepared for that kind of harasment tend to crumble really fast, they are so use to be the harasers, that when they get harass indeed have a hard time.
