It's an interesting theory there. I don't necessarily agree with it fully though. I do agree it was suicide by proxy as Marvin and his father had a strained relationship to say the least. That combined with the depression and drugs fuelling Marvin's mind is what caused it all to go down the way it did.
It does seem though that Marvin did dabble in some bisexual activity what with the claims of he, Richard Pryor and Marlon Brando having a 3some. (crazy I know, but the source is Quincy Jones) Marvin had a very strange relationship with sex and at times felt ashamed what with his father often dressing in drag. You can see some of Marvin's sexuality duality in some of the clothing he wore through the years as he enjoyed wearing frilly and satin material clothing.
BTW I don't know who Mr. Swoops was but it seems he passed? R.I.P. to him and good luck on you continuing the channel in his name.
