Caniks are just so underrated. Everybody needs to own a Canik. They are just quality guns at a reasonable price.
Keep it as a secret so prices don't blow up on them too

My conceal gun currently is the full size Canik SFx. I carry it owb with untucked shirt at 4:30. Works great for me. I am a little bigger but no one can tell if I have it on or not except when I am reaching for top shelf items at the store then maybe.
@@unga1129 I’m a small framed guy. The gun I shoot best and most comfortable with is my full size, 5” Walther PDP but that’s way too big to carry.

The build quality and machining on the Elite SC is on par or equal to my H&K Vp9. Caniks have the military contract in turkey, as well. Another thing, the elite SC has design features that make it easier too shoot. Take your slide off and look at the lightening cuts in the back, underneath.
I am in the process of buying the Elite SC. (NJ is a very long process)I own a TP9 SFX and I love it.

Just found your clip, and the Canik SC is a very nice firearm. I just this week saw it at my local gun store , and all the extras in the case, makes this firearm a great bang for the buck.
I own the P365 and it is just awesome ccw. Thanks again for the comparison, I absolutely agree the Canik is just a bit too bulky for ccw.

That 365 is a trade off. Very concealable with solid capacity. But it's one of the least accurate and least fun pistols at the range. I wouldn't get this pistol with the expectation of it being a great range gun. But for conceal carry...yep. I think sig during summer months. Canik for winter months.

The SIG P365XL would have been a more appropriate product for comparison to the Canik TP9 Elite SC.
Canik FTW. The Sig is my favorite model from them, but it’s no Canik. I like them both very much though. The only people that would choose the Sig have never shot the Canik. You have to work to get the Sig up to what anyone could do with the Canik. Mostly because of its size, but a but is a but. The Canik is easy as a Sunday morning. We buy these things to shoot, never make a secondary issue a primary concern. Glad we got choices though.

The primary reason people choose the Sig is due to it's incredibly small size and ease of carry. If you are buying a near pocket-sized pistol because you want a great shooting experience, you're not understanding what the Sig is.
The Canik is one of the largest sub-compacts, especially in width. They are great guns, but in no way would the only reason not to choose the Sig being that you never shot the Canik.

@@jasonfranciosa very true... i own an elite sc, a shield, an xds-9 mod 2, a kahr 380, a g19, and a g23... all acquired for the purpose of carrying a firearm for self-defense... and i still bought a p365 because of the comfort of carrying such a small firearm with a minimal capacity of 10+1... i have owned and shot 3 caniks but i still got a sig p365... i love both for different reasons.
This didn't age well. Just watched a few 'what do Navy SEALs conceal carry' and they both said p365. Guess they never got a chance to shoot a tp9 elite sc, lol.

I just got the canik tp9 sf elite and it’s perfect for range and ccw for me the sc version was small for my hands. The 365 is a great gun but caniks are where it’s at in my opinion .
I love carrying the 365, but goodness I can shoot the Canik so much better. It’s worth dressing around the bigger gun for me, but if I could find enough ammo id train with the 365 and probably be more than acceptable with it.
Literally what I think my issue is. I’m not accurate with my p365 and that’s even with a Wilson combat lower
I had a p365XL which was very comfortable to carry, but I got to shoot the elite SC and fell in love, I can live with the extra weight and size with how good I can shoot it compared to the Sig.
This is the way. I have both and now trying to sell the 365 lol

@@ShepherdMinistry That's pretty apples and oranges. It depends on the use case. They both perform well enough. The Sig is much easier to carry, since it's smaller and lighter -- like something James Bond would carry. The Canik is a larger and heavier pistol with one of the best triggers on the market. Also you can easily put an optic on the Canik -- I have the Sig Romeo Zero on mine. So Sig easier to carry, while the Canik is easier and more fun to shoot. My EDC is the Sig.
EXACTLY kind of video I’ve been looking for the last few days. I’m changing my EDC (KelTec PF9). I’ve been looking at the P365, but because I LOVE my TP9SA, I wanted to give the Elite SC a fair shake. SUPER appreciate this video! The side by side matchup has extremely helpful
@Frank Bonazza III I agree 10000% I have the elite sc with the shield red dot. and it's amazing how accurate it is. It really does feel like cheating😂😂
@Frank Bonazza III we are gun twins. I have the SFx and the sc with same dots on them. Took a couple days for me to get used to the dots but now I prefer them. My old man eyes can easily put the dot on target with both eyes open. the SFx is the gun a conceal because I shoot better with it. Dress around what you shoot best with. I am carrying in case SHTF so I can defend myself and family not conceal for conceal sake.SC and SFx fill my hand better and the weight and barrel help me get and stay on target better. I want every advantage I can get if I find myself in and situation
I have the Elite sc and now I want to get the p365 just to feel the difference. I have a hard time with the width of the Canik. The dot is killer though.
@@rudyruiz9521 yah I hear you from the carry perspective. From the use perspective I like how the Canik fills my hand with the larger back strap and the amount of control I have over the gun.
I have shot both and the Canik just feels and shoots better for me.
I will take the slightly bulkier grip and length over the feel of the thinner P365 grip.
I also have a TP9SA love it, i do have a TP9SFX and the TP9Elite SC. Awesome guns,

I have the Canik and a P365XL The Canik is definitely the better gun. That being said I do like the 365XL, not crazy about the trigger pull. The original 365 was uncomfortable in my hand, the XL is much better. The Sig will be my summer gun, but if I am wearing colder weather clothing I still prefer the Canik.
Also no leather holsters for CCW they slow down your draw and are not as safe.

The Canik retails on thier site right now for $429. I got one anyway over a glock and like it so far. Figured I saved the difference with ammo I have on hand vs current ammo prices.
I got the black out version for 350 but that was a year ago I shouldve waited because the trophy version came out a couple weeks later
A more apples-to-apples comparison is the P320 Sub-compact vs. the Canik Elite Sub-compact. Almost identical in size and weight. I had the P320 SC caliber conversion kit. Concealing it was like carrying around a huge, top-heavy brick. For OWB under a shirt, I can conceal a full size P320. I sold that SC conversion kit and got a P365XL Romeo , and a Taurus GX4.
I have both. Canik shoots so much smoother. Better edc would have to be the sig easier to conceal.Canik is bulky to me to conceal.
I'm a big guy- big hands. Great review here... that said, these little guns are great for those that can use them to full advantage. I cannot get a good enough purchase on these little Sigs. Even the new 365 XL is just too small. That's a deal breaker for me. I passed on a Glock 26 as my second gun ever, in spite of a persistent salesman, for the same reason. I own a Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0. Great gun. I also own a Canik TP9 SF Elite SC, like yours. I carry both. I have a lot of holsters- and use a JM4 High ride magnetic leather holster for the M&P. The Canik SC, and the M&P 2.0, are, strangely- the same size in the grip- Canik with the pinky extension. The Canik holds 12 rounds- the M&P= 15.
I find that I shoot my friends 4" TP9SF Elite better than the SC. So, for those that are carrying an LCP- a single stack Kahr, or a LC9 or similar pocket gun- the 365 is a much better choice. I just wish I could carry one- they're a great innovation in firearms.

Yeah the sig365 is a good gun once they finally got all the kinks worked out of it,when it 1st came out it had all kinds of problems,they went through around 4 different firing pins due to them breaking but since they finally fixed it the guns are doing good but their customer service stinks...good vid👍
As far as the canik holsters, I had to have an IWB holster specifically custom-made for this gun because I could not find one anywhere. Not too bad a place here near Houston Texas called triple T Holsters. Really good prices. Really good holsters and just really good people all around
Umm, u do know that Sig makes a 15 round magazine for it??? That’s all I carry with mines. The 15 round extend magazine gives u so much more purchase on the firearm. It’s awesome

I have the Canik elite l love it l have a Walther P99c as 9mm which is so close to the Canik elite sc l carry the P99c in a hill people chest pack while it is a compact summer time in florida with shorts and a tee shirt it's hard to conceal well l really like the chest pack but l have a Sig P365 to and carry it in a UM tactical holster it conceals very good so it's a trade off of what your wanting l prefer the Walther P99c in a serious situation but l am still comfortable with the P365 it shoots very good compared to other guns of this size l also have a Canik TP9sfx the gun is awesome the Sig P365 has a good trigger and reset the Canik has a even better trigger and reset and l have a freedomsmith trigger on my SFX and it's the absolute best striker fired trigger and a ever so short reset this trigger eliminated 40 to 50 percent of the take up in the trigger but even the stock trigger is better than 95 percent of guns sold today all of these guns would on the top of my best list the Sig is significantly smaller as he pointed out in the video the Sig P365 comes with very nice night sights the Walther P99c the Canik elite and the SFX all have been replaced with night sights no optics metrolights on the Walther night fision on the Caniks pleased with all of them really like the night fision sights

I picked up the elite sc and put away my glocks and sig lol just picked up the elite combat the other day. People say shooting less than 124 grain causes feed and ejection issues but I never had that issue . Have you?
Yes
I did at first but I fired 50 rounds of 145 grain and cleaned and lubed it and haven’t had any issue at all since.
To be clear I can shoot any grain now in bot my SC and SFX.
Which shoots best out of all thsoe?

How's the recoil on the Canik TP9 vs the P365? I've heard that for the size, the P365's recoil isn't as harsh as some first gun owners expect.
I was going back and forth between the sig 365 hellcat and the elite sc. I bought the elite sc heres why. The sig is too small for my hand even with the bigger grip(my dad owns one) and if you buy one thats early than 2019 the have issues. The hellcat has a trigger issue were if you grap the trigger the wrong way it won't fire. The elite doesn't have any problems. But most importantly the 2 main reasons were the trigger is so smooth and controlling the gun as you squeeze is the key to accuracy and when i fire 100 rounds through the hellcat or sig i feel a little sore in my hands but not with the elite sc. Its ease to fire is so sweet. It is a little bigger though. By the way its pronounced ja nik

Have a SIG P365 and a Walther P99c AS 9mm gen2 the SIG l use for deep concealment but prefer my hill people chest bag with the P99c with two 16 round magazines with magazine sleeves the P99c is so simular to the Canik Elite SC or the Walther PPQ SC but l love my Canik TP9SFX much better than the XDM 9mm 5.25 competition it replaced
P365 is too small for me. I can squeeze the sides of the grip together (with no magazine inserted) and feel like I'll break it. And the trigger doesn't even compare to my SC. In fact, my trigger finger was filthy after shooting this thing. Not worth the extra money, sticking with my SC. IMO, the 365 should be competing with micro stuff.

The P365 trigger sucks compared to the Canik. To make it better, put in a flat trigger (either the Sig flat trigger that's in the XL, or an aftermarket one). It still won't be as nice as the Canik's trigger, but changing to a flat trigger shrank my groups down to less than 3" at 7yds with my P365. I love my Canik, but there's no questoin the P365 is so much easier to conceal (which is the point). I would trust my life to both guns, but I carry my P365 and keep my Canik as my home/nightstand pistol.
One thing to note, SC comes with a phosphorescent front sight. Blast it with your cellphone or edc light for like 5 seconds and you're good to go for quite a while.
Love my Canik. Only issue I have is the size (it's basically a compact masquerading as a sub)...but, man, it's so much more comfortable to actually shoot.

Answer: These 2 are not comparable. Both are fine guns....but the P365 is in an altogether "smaller" size and weight class . The Canik competes ( size wise) to Taurus G3C, Ruger Security 9 compact...and the like. The P365 conpetitors are Hellcat, and with fewer rounds, guns like the Ruger EC9S, S&W Shield....and with a stubbier grip even.....Glock 43.
If I wasn't so broke I would've gone for the sig but I couldn't pass on the $300 canik

@@Joshua-smith1989 my buddy has the TP9SF. It's way bigger than the P365 and a good deal larger than the TP9 SC, but if you aren't necessarily looking to carry that's not a huge deal.

I love my Canik TP9 Elite Combat. It’s a bit more bulky than the SC but I still carry it everyday. (Just wear loose enough clothes to conceal it OWB) But you said yours is a double action trigger. Hmm….I though Canik’s were single action triggers unless you have their DA model.
i bought the olight mini for my canik like ours. By chance did you adjust the two screws on the frame of the light that rides the rail i can not get it flush with the barrel of the gun? Mine tends to stick out a small bit.
At this writing, I am looking to acquire a good concealed carry gun. I do have a Sig P365-380 (9mm was way to snappy) and I like it, but I am not as accurate with it compared to my full size Sig P320.
I am hoping to find something a little bit bigger and therefore I am considering buying a Canik TP9 Elite SC pistol.
Canik is a decent good. But it's much larger than all sub compact gun. While the p365 is the smallest sub compact with the most rounds. So small that it's almost a micro. Obviously you get better accuracy and ballistics with a larger/heavier gun and a longer barrel. My sig p365 has 15 rounds with only the 12 round extension. Modified it to have +2 and one in the chamber. Not a big fan of the aesthetic/style of canik.
I just bought a canik elite and toon it to the range cleaned it oiled it before shooting ans the instructor at the range even oiled it for me tried havier ammo I put about 200 rounds through and it misfired like 20 times why could that be?
I shot 200 rounds of 124g first and when I was at home just racked it a bunch of times and it broke in good. Now can shoot anything through it with any issues.
You should stick with the Canik.

I’ve got the regular elite and I have printing issues with the strong hip carry. It prints near the mag well so I’m considering getting the p365. Will the elite sc have print issues?

They make a piece that will make the fifteen round mags flush with the frame the canik 12 rdrs are missing that back piece too that's why I won't buy it looks weird lol.
