    Nice video! Excellent narration of these Guppies. Lovely tanks to match. I could see these Endlers in my future. Presently some of my fish have become monsters. I’m stuck with 5 different monsters. Once I have them re home. Then I’ll consider some nano fish. Thank you for sharing!
    I enjoyed watching!

      Thank you so much! Good luck finding homes for your fish. These fish are pretty undemanding & can be kept in a large group. Hopefully, my next video with these shows some large swarms!

    These are beautiful strains and I am can currently keeping both of these as well as El Tigre, Blue Snake and El Silverado all N class. I also recently pick up some limia perugiae. Great info and always a fan of wild type live bearers.

      They are beautiful for sure! Don't know that I will try for any more types since I need to make sure there is room for the goodeid species I am missing, but am really happy with the ones I have! Always good to hear from you!

      @@AndrewPiorkowski oh yeah they are really interesting you have me looking into livebearers more and more ever since the tour with jason seeing skifa multipunctata (hope i spelled that right) ive really become fascinated by Goodeids
      Lol normally unless its a shell dweller im normally not interested

      The Skiffia are pretty neat! I will be bringing some to the ALA Convention down in Louisville but I don't typically like to sell fish. Main goal is colony building at this point, especially after last fall when I felt like I had to send out a lot of them for one reason or another. Them & the tequilas are my favorites!

      @@AndrewPiorkowski are you hmm i might have to go i live in ky that's why I had such a long drive to gcca swap lol when i go into work tonight ill see if i can get off
      Yeah im really like them as well the contrast of colors make them stunning but idk the personality and finnage of skiffia really just stands out for me

    • @AndrewPiorkowski
      @AndrewPiorkowski  5 лет назад

      The ALA or even just making contacts with the Louisville Tropical Fish Fanciers (club putting on the convention this year) would be your best bet. The Skiffia tend to go for a lot though so be warned!!!

    Say you cross breed blue star and black bar endlers (both class N with documentation) would the fry be considered class N or K ?

    Great video, l enjoy seeing different types of endlers. Did your N class endlers come with papers that can be registered with the live bearers society? I always thought the definition of N class included documentation.

    • @AndrewPiorkowski

      The class distinction for endlers is kind of a wild debate, especially where the fish from Adrian Hernandez are concerned. He had claimed that only his fish were pure wingei & all collected afterwards were contaminated with reticulata, even the fish collected for the European blue stars just a couple years after. As for registering with a Livebearer society, I don't know which you are referring to. The ALA doesnt accept hybrids & I can only submit wingei for BAP once. My local club accepts different lines as long they are clearly indicated & I have provenance. Adrian's definitions for classes were created to prioritize the domestic lines he created, excluding the others. To sum it up, the classes defined are a marketing scheme that is now applied to all endlers loosely. Just make sure you keep all your info when acquiring fish.

      Thanks for the information. Sorry, I am a newbie to endlers and this whole registering endlers is new to me. What does BAP and provenance mean?

    • @AndrewPiorkowski
      @AndrewPiorkowski  4 года назад +1

      @@richardnewell7660 BAP is a breeder award program within a fish club where you breed a fish, bring in some young to the club, & get recognized for breeding that species by the club. Provenance is knowing where something came from & who had it before you. No worries on being new, we all start somewhere. Best of luck & I hope you continue enjoying your fish!

  • @fatrat6929

    Guppies like calm waters , what I can see here are fishes who are struggling against high current , typical mistake of novice aquarist .
