These instructions are awesome. I was able to change the tire on our GT in under an hour just by following along and pausing the video at each step. I'm certain that the axle bolts are Torx Plus T45, which is one of the only things I had to buy to do this install, along with some TFL tire sealant which included the valve stem removal tool. Also I had no problems breaking the tire bead with a 2x4, it popped off on the first attempt. For anyone considering the upgrade, the TFL Enduro tire is SO MUCH BETTER. With this tire I finally like riding the GT as much as our trusty old XR.

last night i went out for a midnight ride on my gts. ran over a stick that had 3 inch thorns on it and it punctured my stock performance tire! mind you, I've never taken apart a onewheel, let alone tried a tire swap, but I had a 166 day streak on the line here! i've been sitting on an endure tire for 7 months now, waiting for the performance to wear out before I swapped it, so I wouldn't waste anything (and I've been dreading a tire change!) im very proud to announce that i successfully swapped out my tire, but it sure as hell wasn't as easy as you made it look! even after boiling these lifesavers, i had to muster everything in my soul to put these f*(king things on! like... i had to get half naked i was sweating so much during this process. feels so rewarding and satisfying getting that changed on my own though. thanks for the walk through. ya'll hiring?

Just completed my first ever onewheel tire change and all I can say is wow and wow…. following this video was super easy. About 45 min to change… the second wow was the extreme attitude adjustment of my GT. It was almost thanking me. Can’t wait to get it in trails tomorrow. Thanks for all you do. Your methodology and products are the very tip of the top notch.
    Thanks!!!

Did my first tire change last evening to the Enduro. Removing the stock treaded tire off the hub was the hardest part for me. I used a metal tire spoon and it was still a bit of a challenge. This video with the step by step tutorial was priceless for me. Thanks for the swag that came with the new tire!

I just got my tire yesterday. Putting it on now and this vid is really easy to follow along to do. I also like that the receipt from TFL had a hand written note from Jeff saying, "Thanks Jacob! FO, MF :)" which makes a consumer feel like the company they are spending their money with, really does care about their customers. Thanks TFL

Ok I did it today 5 weeks after breaking my clavicle. Took me about 2 hours taking my time. Followed all of the steps perfectly, and still had a decently hard time getting the stock tire out of the hub, and getting the new tire fully on the hub. I recommend waiting at least 8 weeks post clavicle break before attempting this. Feeling pretty sore right now, it was more physically demanding than I thought it would be.

Just got the Enduro tire and followed these instructions. Dude this wheel is a game change for the GT. I previously had the treaded tire and even at 12psi I felt every bump and I would get the speed wobbles at higher speeds. With the Enduro tire all that went away. I now love my GT. Future Motion should make this an option when buying a GT. I would pay even more to have that as an option on one wheel during checkout. Thanks so much. Very well done with this wheel 👍

Awesome tire changing tutorial by Jeff! I got my TFL Enduro in the mail yesterday and had already decided to have a local OneWheel retailer swap it out for me. Then I did a little research and figured I would give it a shot myself. It took substantially longer than the 30 minute video with all my pausing and rewinding (mixed a cocktail or two in between as well), but it was flawless. Not a 2x4 in the house to break the bead so I improvised with my wife's yoga blocks and used an old skateboard just like the video...worked like a champ! I couldn't have done it without these step by step instructions (I did forgo riding off the workbench, which was actually our kitchen island). Thank you!

Easy safe bead break method I use: clamps. Put two close together and evenly clamp the whole tire width, and then add more or space out the ones you have until it breaks enough for you to finish it by hand

  • @simonsterc.3693

MERDE!!! i wish i had seen this before i changed my tire. i had 3 bike tire levers going and dislocated a finger trying to work them around! so many great tips. the stock treaded is even stiffer, so i had to use a trigger clamp to compress the tread. i used the trigger clamp to break the bead too, so super handy and less sketchy if you have those around.

Wish this video had been posted a few days sooner! Changed to the Enduro on my GT last Sunday, and ended up muddling through it while taking much more apart than was apparently needed. On the plus side, the Enduro completely changes the ride (no hyperbole here.) It should be the first purchase of any new GT owner, and FM should feel bad for ever putting that Flintstone rock of a stock tire on the GT to begin with. All the weird bounciness and resistance to carving melts away once the Enduro is installed, and I find myself wanting to actually ride the GT far more often than I did on stock.

OMG this video helped but it took me 2.5 hours. The lifesavers I could not stretch for the life of me and ended up boiling them (wish I saw that tip before). Spent probably 45 minutes trying to get those on. Then the other hard part I had was getting the hub and hub mounting plates back in place... Probably another 30 minutes with that. Everything else went peachy with the tips in the video!
Just did a little ride around my driveway since it's dark here and it seems WAY better than stock treaded! Excited to try it tomorrow in the daylight! Thanks Jeff.

Shout out to TFL for including the TP45 tool needed to do this job. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that included in my order. Very nice! A few things:
    1. Putting that tire on was a biotch, but doable. Does take some hand strength on some steps.
    2. The axle blocks were the worst part. I cussed more on that step than getting the tire off.
    3. This tire is LEGIT bad ass! Been riding the stock GT slick tire offroad for weeks and it has no shock absorption. The Enduro tire feels like I put a suspension on my GT.

My beads popped around 60 psi. Every tire is probably different in that regard, but what has been the typical psi for bead setting? Also, could a bead setting at a higher psi be indicative of a bad Enduro?
My Enduro is rubbing at 17 psi and I have a replacement on the way.
