I, as a 55Kg-guy, will propably never buy a GT but appreciate the Tirepressuretest. It gave a me a clearer insight on how the different tires are buildt and how the pressure affect the behaviour of a OneWheel. I am so glad I changed the stock-Vega-tire to a treaded 11x5,5.6 Burris a few month ago and also reduced the pressure to 15PSI. It changed the rideing-experience of my XR so much and I am now rideing my OW witch much more confidence which increases the fun hugely. I now see how bad the stock-Vega-tire was for a lightweight like me, especially the hard sidewalls were a pain in the ass. Thank you and enjoy the ride.

I have one of each ow, the best stock ow is the gt, but if you put work into the xr, you can make it far superior, also I have absolutely no idea how they like the slick better than the treaded, maybe he needs to drop the psi on the treaded

I do love the Float Life Videos, Float Life 4 LIFE. There is a T-shirt for you. Anyway, my 2 cents is that with the LifeSavers on that tire it makes a huge difference in its ability to handle those Low PSI because the Lifesavers are marginally compressing the tire and reinforcing the side walls. I would be interested to see, if without the lifesavers, could the tire still handle the crazy Low PSI. Regardless anything under 5 PSI is super impressive.
Low profile tires are for street riding.. wtf was fm thinking.. every weekend I see people rimming their low rider trucks on the mountain roads.... there's a reason that off road vehicles don't have low profile . Excellent video as always
Hey Man, I've got the Pint X and today I was experiencing that up and down pushback like crazy. Was riding captain Morgan. Never did that before. I nose dived twice. First time wasn't so bad, I fell but was going slow. Second time I think I was doing 17 and dived hard! Landed on my hip. I'm fucked up. All I gotta say is BE DAMN CAREFUL!! Not sure if it's the software since GT released or what but it wasn't riding right! I'm happy I had my helmet and wrist guards cause my hands would've been scrapped up bad.

I'm happy to see a helmet after his last fall but it won't do him any good if the strap is not tighter. That's what actually keeps it on his head in a fall.
Any decent helmet tightens in the back. This one wraps almost 360 all the way to my temples. Relying on the strap is not acceptable in any sort of high speed fall.

From what im seeing all those upgrades that were requested on the XR did not really happen on the GT,. instead it is its own thing with new bunch of issues. I wish we had some other company making the same type of board to have some competition because this seems pathetic. Even the guys that live with these products and love them to the bone seem kind of indifferent about it. And those jokes about 15 degrees to void the warranty just further shows how little the company cares about what the customers want. Really how difficult can it be to just listen: Smaller rims for softer tires experience Suspensions, they have been designed for XR and look pretty good and could save a lot of trouble with the tire cushioning pads widening outwards so that its wider for us large footed folk (we have seen this on XR aftermarket footpads) Unlockable/customizable mode so that you can set the damn push back yourself for those pros among of you Slimmer design without pointless fillers And all those XR aftermarket stuff could be already integrated, like rim protectors. I dont even have any of the boards, ive been just looking at them for a year and waited for the GT to show whats up and i seem to have a clearer understanding of what you guys need than the company making it. Im still not convinced to buy it for all of these reasons, especially since im from europe and any of those minor issues would be a huge deal
There's tons of people praising the board and that number increases every day on social media. The number one thing you have to realize is that most if not all people not liking it have been so used to their beefed up and tricked out XR's. Obviously it will take some getting used to. I've got a Pint and it's a blast. If you're a new rider with zero experience and the GT isn't "enough" for you, then you're either super hard core or in the wrong mind set. Also nobody expected suspension with onewheels yet.

You also must realize that the prices for these boards are insane especially compared to any EUCs. They could use some competition. Holding up great, I think it should be one of the first TFL GT accessories to be out for sure. And I think really important given the bigger rim size

I would try 15 and experiment from there. Body weight divided by 10 is a good rule of thumb

They’re a super tight fit, you either need to heat them or have very strong hands to install. And they go over both sides of each rim

I would try 20 and work down from there if it feels too bumpy or tippy

I am 240 and run it at 15psi, seems less top heavy while carving, on the beach I have taken it down to 12 psi.
