    Best curb nudge video lesson ever. I've seen others but this one seems more reachable as it is gradual. The biggest fear for beginners is indeed the contact with the motor engaged and having the board hitting the curb makes me nervous of falling. Thanks for putting this together !

      It’s a small mental challenge to push through, but, once you conquer it mentally you’ll realize that the board will just carry you right over the ledge. It’s pretty sweet! Thanks for the kind words man, I appreciate your support! 👊🏾

    Great video fam! I actually practice balancing on my board with it off. It's like the most intense balance exercise ever because you're actively fighting the weight of the battery, and no friction from the motor like you'd get with a standard balance board.

    Your speed of teaching is awesome for video format! I have just over 800 miles my first 4-500 miles I tried nudging so many times the bottom of my board almost tore into the battery, I stopped trying for the past miles. Have had my board just a bit over a year. Watched your video and 1 hour max I have successfully completed 2 nudges. Only reason I didn’t keep going is because my board over heated lmao!

    I've also got 3500 miles between two boards. My modified Pint just went out the other day (shorted motor windings), and I pulled the trigger on a new Pint X with the 10 year anniversary sale instead of replacing the motor AND battery on the Pint (again). Never done a successful curb nudge... that's gonna be the first order of business when the new board gets here tomorrow now though! Thanks for this very different approach. I've been delaying to learn this for over a year, and thanks to your approach I gave it a try practicing the first 2 steps. I thought I would practice that for a week or so before I even tried the whole thing. Well, my first successful nudge, got it within 1-2 hour/s. I also would have scratched my board WAY more if I didn't practice the steps as you say. The curb I found near me wasn't that big, that helped me get it sooner. This might be a good tip starting with a smaller one to buid confidence while you get the feel of it. I was surprised that it was no way as hard As I pictured it to be.

      @tswizzain  6 месяцев назад

      Sorry for my delayed response! I am a bigger dude. I weigh 275 so I should be riding at 27.5 PSI. But tbh I want to maximize my range and get the best pop on my bonks so I have my PSI at 30. It’s not recommended by onewheel but I love riding at that PSI. That’s for street riding though. On trails I drop the PSI to usually 24/25.
