Huge thanks to @JayEmmOnCars for this experience! If you've not seen it, make sure you check out his review here: ruclips.net/video/p1IFJ4MFz2c/видео.html And if you're here from having seen his video, please say hi in the comments.
Love seeing both of those cars together being well driven. They both have old school/retro elements to them but the Z is much more of JDM Muscle car whereas the S2k is a light and nimble sports car. Huge love for both of them. Great vid as always 😁👍
I had a S2000 and enjoyed it very much. Difficult getting into V-TEC mode unless you were going for it, so any town stuff you miss the start against a big motor car. I bought a 370GT coupe next and like it for its power and comfort and price at 20K. Love to own both!
S2k owner here. Also fell in love with mine after I bought it. Wanted a CTR but changed my mind to s2k as it was cheap at the time. Agree it’s fun out of and in vtec.
Cool video, I can relate to your driver's grin here. 😁 I previously owned a (blue) S2000 - amazing car! I daily drove it for 6 years and that thing lived in the 6000-9000 rev band every day. Not a single peep of an issue with the engine over the 60k+ miles I put on it. As an added bonus it even sold for more that I bought it for. My only issue with the S2000 is that Honda discontinued it and, despite several rumours over the years, never brought out a replacement. Which is why I ended up with another car that you may be familiar with - a white 370Z Nismo 😉
If money wasn't an issue and, more to the point, if I had a garage (sadly on street parking and congested at my location) then I would consider having both in my stable 😊. Only problem is that I might be tempted to over-exuberance lol. Although an unfinished project atm, I will stick to my 1972 Rover P5B for now...... James will get the chance to review (not saying that you won't be offered the chance, if interested) once the ongoing issues are sorted. I will check out your 370Z in due course. A bereavement and the Cov pandemic have somewhat delayed things....... I enjoyed your review - clearly a lot of fun that day. Respect 👍 *edit* Just checked history and have already viewed. Really cool motor 👍
Thanks Graham! Wow, a P5B!! I can't wait to see James' review. I'm not sure I could do it justice but I know he will deliver a beautifully filmed piece. Thanks so much for watching. I hope you find some other videos on the channel to also enjoy 🙏
Ha ha, what a funny comparison! But, what comparison did we make in the video? I only remember swapping cars and going for my first drive in the S2k... Not really making any comparisons as such. What did I miss?
The point is that you can have fun driving them, especially these ones, on fun roads... And when you want to push them further, there's places you can take them... Like here... ruclips.net/video/MICEfKZe8Eg/видео.html
I don't believe there is any city as large as Scotland, or England, let alone Britain. If you live in a city and don't want to drive outside of it - yes, there's no point owning one.
@@sportzntouring its DBW but it has all the other little detailed upgrades in addition to the 2.2L and suspension tweaks. Its a Laguna Blue Pearl and it is my 8th S2K. I have had this one for 6 months and likely the only one I won’t sell ever. Although DBW, it is arguably the most tunable version even tho I slightly prefer the cable throttle of 05 and older.
Nice!! Sounds like you've found the one! I feel the same way about my Nismo Z... It's my third Z and this one I don't think I could sell. Thanks for watching and commenting! I hope you can enjoy some more of our videos... Even if they're not about the S2K. :-)

Absolutely agree on both cars! Love them both!! Different cars for different moods for sure. Great cars!

I hardly use Vtec in my S2k 🤷🏾♂️😅 I just enjoy the drive. I love how the car wraps around you when you’re driving it.
It's a very nice car to drive! Very driver focused. I loved it!

Love it! Brilliant story, with a happy ending 👍
It would be amazing if they brought it back.
The yellow Honda S2000 is gorgeous..
It is and a joy to drive! Jayemm is doing some upgrades on it as we speak so if you're not doing so already, check out his channel!
Great video.....hard to know which one to choose!!?. I think I’d have the Z!. Looking forward to the 400Z. Thanks, Richard
Thank you Richard 🙏
I'm looking forward to seeing the next Z too. Did you catch my video on that?

Both are gorgeous cars and the nimbleness and revs of the S2k is intoxicating. For me though, id take the Z because of the looks and power.
Ha ha! Yes! I know exactly what you mean!
Great vid again, fair play on wanting to improve it you certainly did. I love both of these gorgeous machines
Thank you! I always listen to feedback and thought it was worth giving up some views in the interests of quality 🙏
The drive-by footage of the z steals the show😂 but the S2000 is terrific, what a power unit that thing has!
Ha ha 😆
Yeah, the S2000 was a lot of fun!
Nice stuff. I hope you will buy some S2000 one day. Now is still cheap. Worth every penny.
Definitely considering it!
Your review was just as professional as his was of your car...but, I like your style more.
Thank you 🙏
I'm sure we each appeal to different tastes 🤙
Thanks so much for watching 🙏
Our 370Z Nismo looking clean at the Exlusive JDM meet 🤙🏼 Nice vid 🙂
Nice!! Looking forward to seeing you at a future meet! 🤙

What were you saying about re mapping the throttle response, was that on the 370z?
Yes, my 370Z Nismo I had the throttle remapped so it's more linear. More info in this video... ruclips.net/video/AvPng-r0DUg/видео.html
Great video👍your car In the beginning sounds like a NASCAR 🔥
Thank you!!
Love the sound of my car. Wish the video could do it justice!
That would be a very special engine swap!
I'm sure crazier things have been done 😮
both cars are awesome looks like ye had alot of fun driving them your z sounds amazing
They are! Thanks for watching!!
Awesome content once again! I'd pick the 370Z for sure!
Thank you 🙏
Yeah, push comes to shove... Same for me!
Which exhaust system on it?
On the Z?

This is like comparing a 918 spyder to a Honda Odessy
Ha ha, what a funny comparison!

S2000 prices are on the rise...
Thanks for the heads up! I had better get looking then! 😲
My city is bigger than Britain what's the point of having these cars when u can't push it to it's max

Thanks, where are you from? I think most people in the UK say seh-lee-ka... No? Either way, thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed the video 🤙
