Matt is the man! Music business is rough and its nice to see someone with such a positive attitude and overall vibe getting it done.

Great video! Brings back memories from my touring around with a band back in the late 70s early 80s. Love the vibe of performing live and would still be doing today except for changing careers but that's another story.

Fantastic advice for playing live. i can't even count how many shows i've played where the sound is just garbage, and i had to adjust on the fly. Before i started bringing my own speaker, i had to learn to play without even hearing myself on stage xD
Now that is a tight band. Amsterdam show sounded great, would love to have been there.

i was just thinking how so many people don't realize how much effort goes into things, being really good i mean but listening to you talking about switching octaves on the clav and stuff brings it home to me . theirs just people in this world who always go an extra mile and a half like you that's the ticket...

Hi, there is a lot of great jazz player that are trying to teach us but nobody has the funk feel and sound use like matt, sorry that matt have to work very hard as a great musicsion to get is salary , i am not sure that there is enought respect to musicsion like matt in the new world matt is a genius !

What you think is the ”best” venue you played at when it comes to the band's sound experience? The french amphitheatre looks to be a very nice experience but might surprise when it comes to amplified sound?

Big open fields are the best if the sound system is great. No reflections

I'm curious: how many hours did that band rehearse together before the first gig of the tour? Obviously they're very good musicians, ready at the drop of a hat. But, still, there had to have been SOME rehearsal? 🤩
We had 3 days before the major shows
When you rent out a gear and load your sounds in, do you clear out those sounds before returning it back to the backline/rental service ?
