One of my go-to's back in the day and mostly in the Noughties. The World was different back then. The 90s series was good too. In the 00s, most memorable; Eddie Santini, Des Taviner and Gabriel Kent. Forget Netflix, this was the life back then and Britain!
I thoroughly loved watching The Bill when it first started and was very good for a number of years. It produced some interesting stories played by some wonderful actors. At times very intense. In my opinion, should have never lasted that long because some of the stories near the end of the tenure didn't seem appropriate to watch.
The execution of the concept in your video is truly remarkable, immersing us in the bygone era of 1960s Hollywood and then offering an intimate and inspiring glimpse into the lives of these actors today. *DO YOU AGREE WITH ME*
Best character in The Bill? That's a no brainer. Burnside. Easily! His scathing putdowns were legendary!. I recall an episode where 2 PCs (one of them might have been Gary McCann) had to explain that they'd allowed a suspect to escape. His response was : "Ran away? Ran a-bloody-way? Police procedure states that when a suspect runs away you're supposed to run after him. Didn't you boys think of that?" He was a brilliant actor!
Shocking narration; it spoiled what should've been a look back at great characters & show. Some photos look highly suspicious. You mentioned the word "sitcom"; The Bill wasn't a sitcom !!
I remember, me and a mate saw Kevin Lloyd, who played Tosh Lines, on the Tube back in 1998, looking very much the worse for wear. A few months later we saw he'd died due to his alcoholism.
❤Ed Colin and his character such a shame I wish people wouldn't do self inflicted stab wounds it's so upsetting Tom butcher was my favourite I thought he was gorgeous. Never missed it
Not being but for someone who says The Bill was one of his favourite TV shows (not sitcom) you don't get all your facts right. Maybe people outside the uk don't particularly care even they maybe fans, however people in the uk who have watched The Bill since its introduction from the one off drama called Woodentop back 1983, and then avid watchers of The Bill just over a year later. These people will pick up the mistakes you make, in fact you could say this about a few of your uploads.
What a load of crap - There is a world of difference between a police drama and a sit-com. The worst representation of a programme I have ever seen. Complete and utter rubbish as bad as the fatuous and annoying commentary.
Infuriating how you so obviously don't even know about this drama, which was never a sit-com! Click bait thumbnail with the usual everyone is living happily ever after bs. Must remember to look at usernames before clicking these vids!
