One of the best police dramas here in the UK, my favourites were Bob Cryer, Tony Stamp, Jack Meadows, Dale Smith, Reg Hollis, Gina Gold and Frank Burnside. The last of the greatest TV series from ITV. 💂♂️💂♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴
In the pilot episode it was titled woodentops as apart of an series called storyboard a show that features shows as pilots if they are successful then that show is granted an full syndication run shortly after woodentops morphed into the Bill and In an early season Frank burnside was originally called Tommy but the name got changed after Chris Ellison became an seasonal actor so Tommy became Frank .
I wrote a letter of complaint when The Bill was axed. My wife and I are currently watching about three episodes every night. It is timeless. I think its success was due not only to the acting and storylines but to the continual change of cast.
@@daveattrill2712 I met the one who was Don Beech once , he was in Sheffield visiting the old man who was pub landlord in Hollyoaks ( the one from Touch of Frost)
Loved the series! The great no nonsense DI Burnside! One episode, a load of villains get rounded up after a high speed police car chase and crash! "He's gonna need a brain scan guv"!! "They'll be lucky", snarls the DI!.
Seeta Indrani, was quite lovely. She had a great line I remember when a thug told her to go back home, she replied “what Uxbridge “ 😂 Actually I should have said, IS quite lovely.
George Rossi made my day in my woodcarving career when he purchased a carving of mine that was donated to cancer kids foundation, did not have time to auction it,

Pictures photo shopped and take as is the title this is not the first time this site has done this with other show like Mrs Brown's boys they show take pictures and made up title to draw you in to watch it probably in the hope to get liked for cash or just get a lot of people to watch it they would get more views and likes if their titles pictures and information was 100% true

they should bring the bill back should never have been axed in the first place
Best program now you get some right rubbish
So. Why does graham cole only have one leg in the thumbnail when he quite clearly has 2 ?
I met Graham a year back and he definitely had 2!
😀😀😀😀
Clickbait
Just looked at the thumbnail, look closely and see it's Graham's face imposed upon someone else's body. Seriously clickbait.
He crashed, he crashed, he crashed!
My thoughts exactly!

Agreed! 👍🏻
I liked the ginger bloke ( Galloway ) in first series and Tosh ( the one whose real brother was a reporter and went missing during a war).
Bring back The Bill 🙏🏻
AND BRING BACK REG HOLLIS TOO
Graham Cole looks better at 72 than he did at 32. He’s barely aged and looks dapper.
@@kellywalker4494 I'm a Cole by birth ( not sure if related) but the Coles I know do tend to look younger
Only watched this in the 80's, brilliant tv series.
I still watch the series every day at 11.40 UK time and am enjoying it all over again.
Great memories, i grew up with THE BILL ❤❤❤
Polly Page anyone?

Why on earth have they missed the most iconic cast member of the bill Inspector Gina Gold? Shame on you!
OMG love those show as THE BILL and really miss them since 2010 :(

@@swordfish211 It became ridiculous after about 4 series, the storylines were so far fetched and stupid. They should have kept it realistic.
The thumbnail on this is hilarious 🤣👏

Would great to have the bill back.
@@paramedicchrisbookseries If it was realistic, not the crap they turned it into
Graham cole always played it like he should have been a real copper but I hear he has done alot for police charities so his kind of served

All the early episodes were filmed in merton , Wimbledon , Sutton and mitcham
They were filming outside our house in Mitcham Junction one day when my youngest son, waited for a break in filming, went out and got autographs.
