I think some one needs to do their homework. As most of these actors didn't appear in The Bill until well after 1983. Trudie Goodwin, Mark Wingett, Jeff Stewart, Eric Richards, Roger Loach and the one who played Alec Peters were all there in 1983, but most of the others didn't appear til much later on.
Stars from the Bill who have passed away Kevin Lloyd(Tosh Lines 1998) Roger Leach(Tom Penny 2001) Colin Tarrant(Andrew Monroe 2012) Tony Scannell(Ted Roach 2020) Ben Roberts(Derek Conway 2021) they’re the ones I know that have passed away so far Peter Ellis(Brownlow) is still alive
The Actor Peter Ellis is still alive. He is in his mid 80's and i have definitely seen him in 2 separate occasions since 2006. Amazing since you claim he is dead!
This whole video is just a swizz, as you said most of them weren't even in it in 1983, yet the uploader still puts that date up on their photos! It's just bollocks 🤣🤣
Peter Ellis also played police officer in trafalgar Square and John Salthouse (Roy Galloway) a officer in piccadilly Circus in An American Werewolf in London
A lot of the photos you say are from 1983 are not at all - many of those featured were not in The Bill in 1983 anyway. The most serious error though is that you say Peter Ellis died in 2006 - He did not. I was at an event with him a couple of months ago!
Of all the females in The Bill, I always thought WPC Norika Daata (played by Seeta Indrani) was not only by far the best looking but also had the nicest personality.
DALE SMITH DID *NOT* APPEAR IN THE SERIES IN 1983, HE APPEARED MUCH LATER. THIS VIDEO IS HIGHLY INACCURATE- INCORRECTLY REPORTED DEATH X 1, VARIOUS ACTORS DESCRIBED AS APPEARING IN 1983- WHEN THEY ENTERED THE SERIES MUCH LATER ON.......
Awful narration, incorrect information, sentences that make no sense, same video shown over and over and not containing the actors you’re talking about, I’ll never watch your channel again. Total waste of time.
@@Leeann-rz3ei I literally don't know how to respond to this dog shit comment. It's like something a 14 year old would say. It's the equivalent of "I know you are but what am I?" Do better in future 😊👍

I agree with that great resarch there you did mate
George Rossi (Duncan Lennox, died 5th January 2022) Although not seen in this video
Roberta Taylor (Insp Gina Gold) passed very recently.
Loved this show in the early days
But can see why it was axed in latter years
Totally agree, stopped watching around Season 20, by then though the format was a bit stale and they had to go Soapy to survive, unfortunately.
Best in the 30 minute, twice weekly version , seen from the late 80s to mid 90s.
Peter Ellis, who played Brownlow, is definitely not dead. He was in the Crown only a couple of years ago.
I think they are referring to the Director & Writer & not the actor of the same name.
The Actor Peter Ellis is still alive. He is in his mid 80's and i have definitely seen him in 2 separate occasions since 2006. Amazing since you claim he is dead!
It wasn't him that you saw, he is dead.
He’s 87 and very much alive
To echo other commentator Peter Ellis is still alive as of feb 2023. He is 86 .
Most of these characters weren’t in the bill in 1983
Him being dead is just his cover story. He's really on a covert mission!
This whole video is just a swizz, as you said most of them weren't even in it in 1983, yet the uploader still puts that date up on their photos! It's just bollocks 🤣🤣
Some of the characters say 1983 before they were even on the bill but still in uniform . Maybe some fact checking ?
Peter Ellis also played police officer in trafalgar Square and John Salthouse (Roy Galloway) a officer in piccadilly Circus in An American Werewolf in London
This is full of errors

Yes he did, the error is yours.
@@Leeann-rz3ei No: you are also wrong!! Unless you are suggesting I spoke to a ghost?? Just do a basic check online.
@@nickbeer2658 you're the one that's wrong
@@Leeann-rz3ei hahahahaha
@@nickbeer2658 I am glad you agree with me.
That music is very annoying
So is robotic narration.
Watched this back in the day rip to those who have passed away
Of all the females in The Bill, I always thought WPC Norika Daata (played by Seeta Indrani) was not only by far the best looking but also had the nicest personality.
Yes she seemed nice
And a fine actress, including in musical theatre.
Peter Ellis who played CI Brownlow is still alice, Peter Ellis the director died in LA, California in 2006
Some great actors come and gone. Miss the series
RIP - Roberta Alexandra Mary Taylor ( née Roberts; 26 February 1948 - 6 July 2024)
My favourite show.
R I P Roberta Taylor
Great program
Interesting video - thanks for uploading.
Video reported as misinformation and misleading
Get out More 😂
Roberta Taylor (Gina Gold) was definitely not in The Bill in 1983! Who made this????
Yes she was
@@Leeann-rz3ei no she was not she was in it from 2002-2008
No she came in to the Bill after been on EastEnders so definitely not at the beginning.
What a bad program, it was all mixed up, you couldn't follow any of, the captions were not inline with the films clips.
Most videos here never have the correct captions... get out more.
Some of these were late 90s early 2000 not all were 1983
All your pictures are incorrect they are not from 1983.
Peter Ellies is not dead
A bit light on with CID, nearly all the characters highlighted are Uniform branch.
Norika Datta, so beautiful
Ewen also appeared in 'Lead Balloon,' too.
Roberta Taylor died as well
A lot of actors cut their teeth on the Bill as bit parts or extras.
Maybe mixed up with Peter Hill, Arthur Brownlow from Crossroads.
PETER ELLIS IS *ALIVE* AND WELL IN 2024! He's 88 YEARS OLD. HE DID *NOT* DIE IN 2006!!!!
Poorly narrated…..could have been brilliant 😢
PcPolly Paige is still good looking now wow x
Where's chandler 😕 I've actually met him when he was doing doctors stayed at the hotel we're i worked nice bloke
Where's Yorkie?

This should be reported for misinformation, what about Nula Conwell or Bernadette Nolan
not researched properly
Very drawn out and boring
I once sold Clive Wedderburn (pc McCann) some Es at a club in 1995
Reg Hollis looks ridiculous
music is hideous
Awful narration, incorrect information, sentences that make no sense, same video shown over and over and not containing the actors you’re talking about, I’ll never watch your channel again. Total waste of time.
Very shoddy work. Poor video with a lot of mistakes
Roberta Taylor she Died she use be in Eastenders
Good god A1 commentary absolute crap
Crap music too.
This video is a complete mess
Same as you probably are too
