Me😆 I record and watch it on the Drama channel every week day and if that isn't enough I recently noticed that the channel called W shows episodes early Saturday morning so I record those too and watch them when I can.
Chris Rowe corrupt is the word your looking for and you have forgot to mention that the writers and producter killed most of the cast off. Plus they had to compete with the crap of soap land and other shit .
you only have past series 20 on uktv play so are saying that [ actually starts mid series 17 but they daftly call it season 20 for no reason at all ] the bill was equally as good prior to the seasons your apps make available, i promise. young ackland, early beach, Galloway, early burnside, prime cryer, eamonn walker in for couple year, brownlow...... so much more. you really need to get physical media big boy
I miss the Bill watched it as a kid growing up and was still watching it when it ended. There will never be a better Police program. i would love to see it come back the worse decision was to move it from 8:00 to 9:00 on a week day.
Patrick that's the type of stuff kids need to learn about so not to use and do those crimes. But I stead they have coronation Street and eastenders that as more deaths, crime, drugs, explosions, rape etc than a real town.
Didn't Reg try and top himself after they suddenly ended his contract. I think that's what the presenters were trying to get him to talk about with their first question.
One of the most stupid decisions they made to axe the best police drama on TV. Can't get my head round why the axed it, hopefully they bring back The Bill. Many people and myself miss The Bill ;(
Favourite characters : Gentlemen -Adam Okaro (a Leader, great Superintendant, strong personality but a kind man) -Jack(is a chief ,leader, loved his Yorkshire accent) -I like Maslen but dont really like him very much on the show as he's somehow corrupted sometimes. He loved to makes some jokes at people but not to hurt them. -Jim ,Tony -Danny -but I really liked Callum Stone(down to earth, ready to forgive PCs mistakes and give lessons for the following mission) -Des was funny ,I didnt like how people look at Reg(always misregarded but he was a cool guy). -Gary (becomes angry fast but is sensitive and sometimes funny) - DI Manson(down to earth and calm ,thouhtful before giving orders) Ladies: -June -Eva -Gina(she was like a mum ) -Kerry(she 's the unlunkiest ,romance disppointment, rape and shot dead by Dark Angel Gabriel, she was so nice and didnt diserve all that,I liked her very much) -Ruby Buxton -Emma Keane(so beautiful and pretty) -Stevie Moss - A great show ,one of the Best British Crime shows, filmed like a documentary, great actions, drama and love stories between characters.
@u2atomicbomb you would think that but i think it was nice to give Jeff Stewart a chance to explain his side of things. Nice to see him looking more like good old Reg Hollis again. Shame Burnside couldnt make it. I just wish The Bill was still going, It ends in Scotland on Monday its not going to be the same without it.
Greatest and most realistic UK cop drama ever. The ability to scatter small everyday details in-between the drama was brilliant and made the show very relatable and realistic. I rewatch the show often and like many of you I miss it too but I can also imagine how awful and politically correct/politically focused a rebooted version of The Bill would no doubt be.
Btw Simon Rouse should not have been awarded a point on the Sean Bean question, Bean and his partner played armed robbers who used a hammer and a gun to rob their victims in the episode Long Odds
@TheRachyJane They ended his contract, he reacted badly and tried to harm himself so they wrote him out quietly. He's appearing in a few Hollywood films soon :D

The producers ruined the show when they added a sort of americanism to the format. Ratings then really started to decline, even tho they had for a few years when they had got rid of some of the favourites. When they changed to the americanism format more viewers left, hence they decided to pull the plug on the series. Of course once the people at the top realised viewers hated the new format and changed it back to more the uk standard, the ratings started to rise unfortunately it had already been signed off to finish the series. Incidentally they more or less did the same to London's Burning, killed the favourites off or gave the actors stupid stories so they wanted to leave and changed the format. It's a shame they never did a crossover with the two shows in the late 80s/early 90s
IMHO, the Bill - which was compulsive viewing in my house from the very first episode - literally lost the plot from Series 16. With one daft story line after another, more criminals inside Sun Hill than out, and too much time spent on the personal lives of the officers, my household stopped watching. It got its mojo back in Series 21. Very sad to see it end for good. I re-watch from Woodentop to S15 every couple of years.
Wait, so from me typing, OMG Look at Reg, you assume i'm being mean. quite the contrary, When i was a child, I would go to my Grans after school and The Bill would be "Granada Plus" Sky TV & i would watch it, I remember Reg, having Black hair and being a young man, I remember Bob Cryer. I'm now 30, It's nostalgic to see him again. So i think you should think before you type. !!!!!!
Lucy Higgins stevie and June haven't and Alex haven't you need to get some glasses love. Why shouldn't they have beards they are men that's what men look like can tell you wasn't born in the 60s and 70s 😂
I'm watching re-runs on youtube. Love the cast, crew and story lines.
I'm from Australia and we love the Bill, it became part of the culture in the 1990s, imitating the coppers was huge.

Past actually won that! I counted, Past 6, Present 5.
What episode is it were that co19 officer smashes the door with the enfrocer
I thought June was longer than Regs because she been in the bill at the start
Yeah June was in the first episode
Thought phill colins was there for a minute
I miss reg Hollis the way he was let go was disgusting.
Chandler should have been here, vile character but terrifically acted.
Btw Simon Rouse should not have been awarded a point on the Sean Bean question, Bean and his partner played armed robbers who used a hammer and a gun to rob their victims in the episode Long Odds

mikelbizkit actually the are called indie films. Lovely bloke genuine
Sean Bean played an armed robber, not a shop lifter.

At least they still show great dramas. Unforgotten. The Bay.
Simon Rouse looks different. Didn't recognise him at first!
gaywest4298 me too.
Doesnt help that he has a different natural voice to the Meadows voice
Probably the beard and glasses.
Shame Burnside couldn’t make it I would’ve like Billy Murray there
Tom Williams Productions yes
Tom Williams Productions do you mean Chris Ellison? ;-)
dan999uk I worded it poorly but I meant, Burnside (Chris Ellison) & Billy Murray (Beech) both are in my top five of Coppers on the show
ITV are planning a new "The Bill" type show. It's not "The Bill" but it might be as good as "The Bill"

JayCorrected2015 wanker nothing wrong with stubble, or beards that's what a real man looks like. Try being one
I tried watching The Bill but thought it was rubbish with very wooden acting. Definitely not a national institution.
But then...neither are you, so jog on.
@youtube-is-hopeless Nice troll post, however it just made you look foolish.
Yep wish they'd bring it back.
