If you aren't going to recognize or give artists like these two proper exposure than you can't make a point of cultural appropriation by other artists. We have some really good and talented R&B and Neo-Soul artists out there that can be heard. For some reason we can't keep hip-hop out of our heads.

I'm 40 and decided to go to the Chris Brown concert on 7/3/2018 in Atlanta. I never heard of this woman. I haven't listened to the radio since 2010. But I was blown away by her performance. She can sing and play many instruments. I thought R&B was dead. H.E.R. brought it back alive for me. Thank you. I will keep focusing on you.
