Shaun, your videos are the very definition of what this platform can provide. The fact that you take us with you, immerse us in the adventure, and show how you share the journey with friends makes it a hard act to follow. Well done, as always.
Thank you so much.
totally agree, amazing work, beautiful views, nice music - proper professional film
The 395 corridor is one of the best off road areas in the world. So much beauty, mild to hard core and camping/hiking/fishing that rivals Colorado. It’s one of the few things I miss about living in NV and SoCal.
I always says that music is 90% of a documentary if your images are good but when your footage is awesome, the results is PERFECT.
Big fan from Italy👊🏼
agree!
Everyone is releasing long videos… I don’t have time for that with 12 hour days and my own editing, BUT I watched yours. Your cinematography is so good! Just need better sponsors 😉
Nah his sponsors are perfect. He manages to have them but not overpower you with them and that’s is why people like me watch. The other guys doing content like this are just pitching products every 5 seconds
Still need to turn down the background music when you’re talking.
Wouldnt it be cool if RUclips made a history button so you could go back and continue watching videos you've already started 😉
I like the long vids
@@LoveTribeOverlandRUclips already has that feature
Your film cuts are a work of art, sir!

Absolutely phenomenal content man. Thank you for putting the time and effort into making stuff like this so those of us who can’t make huge trips like this can enjoy it through you.
All of TSTN adventures I've watched up to this point have been monumental, but this one is definitely top 3 for me. Those sights were phenomenal and the mines were super cool, definitely something I'd love to explore. Thanks for taking us along, Shaun. Cheers!
We (3 of us) did all this in 67 stock Bronco pickup in 1970. No video or fancy rigs. Just camping out of the back. One hill we were on in the Panamints, Pinto Peak, was covered in a sea of ladybugs. Ah high schoolers. Pretty fearless. We used Mitchell's Death Valley Jeep trails. (1969)
Fantastic video. Fun fact: Death Valley is 282ft below sea level. The music at 19:30 hits hard.
Unreal scenery! Hat yes! Very cool! This has to be 2 years ago. 😊. Ginger’s truck with those red lights is tre cool! Maury can cook!!😍
Totally miss these longer videos! Would love to see a full on camp set up and cooking vid again. Bring on all the peeps. Next year doing an LS swap on tons with my 08 jku. Will join you on a trip after that happens 😊
I struggle to relax and have found great difficulty in finding successful methods, but your videos seem to proper chill me out. They are beautiful. Keep it up please!
I thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of this video. Death Valley in some places reminds me of the surface of the planet Mars. It's so surreal.
Your videos are very good. I went to death valley about 10 years ago in the middle of summer. The heat was ridiculous and the scenery made think I was on the surface of Mars. It's a truly unique area and I'm glad I went there.
I love your adventures. I watch videos when I want to relax. Camp meal suggestion. Take 5 gallon bucket and peel ruset potatoes until full. Put through potatoe fry press. Fill 5 gal bucket with sugar water. (Sweet to taste) add lemon juice to keep fries from browning. Soak 24 hrs. Time can include trip. Don't forget 5 gallon lid Lol. Deep fry in peanut oil, not vegetable oil. Enjoy knowing the secret to McDonald's French fries all night long. Just give me a shout out for giving up secret! Don't forget salt.😂Pat fries dry before frying with paper towel and after frying. Oil and water don't mix. The rest should be self explanatory. Save discarded oil to 5 gal bucket and reuse later.
Missed this living in Canada the last 25 years...raw beauty.
The hat looks good on you, and ive been all over those places as a kid my dad and mom were into gold , ⁵ kids living and adventureing all over desert, in panamints theres old ghost town to hike to crooss 7 waterfalls.❤
That Was a TOTALLY INCREDIBLE CAMP PLACE, So BEAUTIFUL In ANY DIRECTION, It ACTUALLY LOOKED LIKE ANOTHER World & The Hat is A 10 👍👍👍 , It Should Be Your Reg Go To Hat !!!
Shaun, Hello from Nashville Tennessee. The Music city. Let me start by saying, you have become a great photographer. I am a television director and I see your moves, great work man. The police officer in this video reminded me that I needed to tell you, your channel got me through the lockdowns and I still watch every video. I have been building my overland rig for about 3 yrs. now. I haven't driven it yet. Your videos give me inspiration to keep on building. Thanks man, keep it going as long as you can. #Notwheelingyet
I’m in middle TN as well.
Thank you! 🙏
@@TheStoryTillNowHow did you get away with flying a drone inside Death Valley? I thought it was prohibited? Thanks man
@mattstone8878 I didn’t fly a drone inside the park.
@@TheStoryTillNow OK! Thanks for the reply!!! Great footage 👏
Awesome video as always Shaun. Y'all's adventures are always so epic your films always shows just how spectacular places are but must of all you and all your friends inspires people to go and explore.
Hi Shawn, glade you made it to CA for some wheeling. Your in my backyard now. The Chicken Rock Trail is definitely a butt pucker trail and yes, people have rolled off the edge and died on that trail. We did that trail back in 2019 before they did the upgrades. There are a lot of cool places to check out there.
Love those trails. Been years sense I have been there. Brings back memories. Thanks.
Thank you Shaun, for continuing to make inspiring films.
wow full length film! im really impressed by all the work you do after your trips cause its always well put together, beautiful scenery and final product is truly amazing! respect!
Awesome! Always good to see you down here in the US!
I am from India and we have one of the harshest mountains and dangerous paths well i cannot afford the Jeep but I sure have the Indian versions available... One is Force Gurkha which I'll be getting and I'll modify it totally for overlanding. And it's you who has put me into this .
Really love you content and it's thrilling and relaxing at the same time ❤❤❤❤
Excellent video whe enjoyed very much. Every winter whe travel from holland to spain to enjoy the warm climate for a few months.
This video reminds me of being in spain so much alike. Making us wanne travel this winter again!
Tanks for making the video!
Back with another banger! Love your work, keep it up!
Stunning Shaun. Just stunning. Keep on doing these adventures. As you inspire me and so many others to explore and see that there is so much more than the four corners of a building. Regards from South Africa. 🎉
Master piece of overlanding and story telling🎉
Beautiful, and inspiring content. In my backyard so to speak with this installment. 200 series coming soon, can't wait to join in the fun out there 😊
I'm glad I took the time to finish this. I started it yesterday and watched about half, which was incredible, and finished it tonight, which was absolutely amazing!!!
Another fantastic Video Shaun.. Well Done.
29:03 I'm gonna date myself now.. The first time I went through Death Valley, I was maybe 3 or 4 years old, late 60's or early 70s with my parents, and my older brother. We were camping in an early 60's Grumman Panel van. And then in the early to mid 70s we went back to Nevada for the Mint 400 (My pop had a friend who was an entrant)
That desert orange during sunrise and sunset is so amazing, I loved seeing it when I lived in NV
This video was incredible! A divine talent gifted by God! Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us!
Most realistic video ever - they show how death valley just breaks shit that should work fine. I love it there, but man, it's hard on trucks.
You never disappoint. Thanks for this.
Welcome to the homeland! The California/Nevada desert is my playground. Glad you guys have finally gotten the chance to see. Plenty of mines out there to explore!
Another incredible episode man. Keep up the amazing work
These lands are my backyard in a sense. The depths that the desert offers is something one has to simply witness themselves. Phenomenal adventure with you and your friends and thanks for the upload. You got a sub with this one man 🤝 looking forward to the adventures ahead and safe travels!
Awesome video, Shaun. This was an epic adventure. I really enjoyed watching it. Everytimes I watch your videos I just want directly jump in my Jeep and go out for an adventure. You're one of the best video creators on yt
Absolutely stunning. Loved this long format. I actually watched it over two nights and couldn't wait to finish work to watch the second half.
Really happy to hear that! Thanks for watching.
Best episode ever!! Nice work!
What a trip, really enjoy these long episodes......
Pretty rad out there, thanks for the share
😎🤙👍
Definitely a rerun💯 ✌
Absolutely beautiful scenery
You really should have got yourselves up to Cerro Gordo whilst you were there - amazing place and Brett would have been pleased to see you, he has multiple mines including one that is rumoured to go down over 1200 feet mining galena (Silver/lead ore), and many other minerals and precious metals - he is busy restoring the ghost town so visitors can rock up - his road gets washed out once or twice a year so 4x4 is a must ;)
Great job! One very nice compilation video of your trip. Death Valley is indeed great, but I was glad to see you spend time at the Alabama Hills and in the Lone Pine area. That's a special area. I've done a lot of field work and recreating too in that area over the past 30-40 years. Keep it up, and come back.
Huge fan of your videos and I really appreciate the inspiration your giving me to pursue it myself. Thanks
Hwy 395 my favorite of USA HiWays.. Great hat.. Alabama Hills is just incredible.. Im 74 and won't ever stop camping, Jeeping and exploring.. Just as my mom's parent's did..
Great journey gentlemen.. Thanks for sharing

Wow. You have an amazing life. Thank you for sharing.
Shawn this is probably my favorite you have ever done, just spectacular
Awesome video as always Shaun. I always look forward to your longer trip videos and your end of year videos. I love long form videos and especially your cinematic off-roading videos. Also, I love the hat, but then again I'm Texan, so we love our big hats. Seriously tho, nice hat bro. Kinda jealous, ngl.
Just didn't want this to end 😢 Scenery probley the best in the world Thank you greetings from UK 🇬🇧
I’ll have to watch this when I get home from work! But I bet it’s going to be a sick video 🤙🏻
Gonna be saving this video for tonight.
Wow...The terrain & the landscape is so incredibly dif from Bc..Love this & your presentation of this video TY👍😁
Looks like one I need to pour a whisky and get some popcorn going!!! Love the work you do and always look forward to the next video. The algorithm for YT or any social media never sleeps so you better get back on the trails an maybe head up to the PNW coastal range and see what we have to offer!
I enjoyed that, the bigger the TV screen the better. Awesome.
Hat Yes! Your adventures / videos never dissapoint!
Epic stuff guys! Definitely Big Time!
Excellent Shaun, as always.
Great content 🎉
Enjoying this channel so far
As always, great video!
That being said, I have never had to sit through so many long ads, and that makes me want to click away.
Sitting here on my 100” screen having a beverage feeling as though I’m there with you boys
This is the way!
@@TheStoryTillNow you are the best adventurer I’ve ever watched, truly unbelievable. You deserve all life can offer because of the joy you bring to others. Love ya man have blessed holidays.
You boys were out in my favorite area of my home state of California! It's beyond worth exploring the Mammoth area, as well as places like Rock Creek Lake in Inyo County if you're out here again. Good stuff.
Now! That Was A Adventure.👍🇺🇸
Epic footage, as always! Knew this was going to be older footage, but you did not disappoint, sir!! Great story! Amazing scenery! Love watching your adventures… this is one of my new faves!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for your videos. Love from Germany man!
I watch a lot of these videos they're great. I lived in Washington state about 20year. I went to almost every corner of the state. My favorite place was HELL'S CANYON, DEEPEST RIVER CANYON IN USA OVER 8K DEEP, VERY REMOTE, RUGGED. I RODE A JET BOAT 91 MILES DOWN THE RIVER to HELL'S CANYON Dam once, and again to another location on the snake River. Also rafting trip on salmon River by Riggins, Idaho. All were super.
That was epic camping 😎🤩⭐️
The hat looks great, the mine is so cool, your filmography is excellent. Really enjoy your trips wherever you go.
love this channel
Awesome video! I spent years in Calie but never went to Death Valley, fun to see what's down there.
absolutely awesome!👍

Literally this one video makes me wanna get out of this defender and into a 392 Wrangler.. this video is amazing..
Dude I’m heading down here in January and can’t wait. I’m from WA so it’ll be a complete change of scenery for me too!
Nice ! Monday night special. 👏🍁🤙
This film is so good! And I’m not even a jeep guy. Great story telling.
Thank you for your quality bro
This is Awesome Shawn! I live 2 hours from Alabama Hills. I’ll be going there this winter.
I thought I time traveled at the beginning part of video 😭 because I seen it in one of your videos from 2 years ago
You just get better every episode .
Great video, guys! I would like to see David do a video about camp cooking. He does seem to be the Master of it! I especially enjoyed seeing the Barker Ranch - it brings back such fond memories of the late 60's you know, everybody in Southern Califorenia waiting in line to buy a gun for home defense and all that. Manson was such a positive role model for the youth of that era. Without Manson, we might never have had Kleboild and Harris and all the rest of those murderous little bastards. ...
Dude literally went there back in August, same cave and same hill top, got some beautiful photos up there man. The wind at night was crazzzzzzy. Love the videos man
You're one of the few channels I actually look forward to new content releasing.
