Being from Colorado I would say this is your best video yet. But, I may be partial. I love those trails an have run them many times. You guys definitely got the Colorado experience.
Just an FYI since my wife and I got in trouble. But that second camp spot is private land. The landowners came by and kicked us out. We explained there was no signage and the wire they use as a gate was no where in sight. We obviously left the spot and went down the road further to not cause a fuss which the owners appreciated. But it’s funny to see there still is no signage and the wire was still down.
It’s funny you say that, we looked on our maps for 10 minutes arguing whether or not that spot was private. The road straddles the NF boundary but we couldn’t figure which side of the road was private. Didn’t see any signs either and there was a tent pitched in every spot parallel with that road. At the end it was definitely posted private.
Thanks my man! The wheeling has really gone down hill out here… especially close to Tucson. Everyone and their mothers have rzrs now and the trails have become congested with them…
We're headed that way on the 3rd would love to get a map of your route. Were running full size rigs as well a with current conditions we don't want to get stuck in a situation.
I don’t have an exact map but I can give you our camp spots so you’re not searching all afternoon. Near Durango first night was up forest road 253 also called Wallace lake road. It keeps going north east but may be closed to snow. We camped right at Wallace lake. Second night was just north of ouray on cutler creek road. Third night near eagle was off bocco mountain road, the gate to the lake was closed but may be open now. I would definitely advise not going down that road if it’s wet or if rain is coming in. One of the most white knuckle situations I’ve been in. If the passes are open definitely camp those without a doubt!

You are absolutely right. Fart whistlers indeed, I have a Cummins and duramax, but I use them for what they’re intended for, hauling and making me money. I built my Cummins to do this stuff, took me two trips to realize it’s too heavy and not made for this stuff. I’ll stick with my gas burner v8 and keep it simple. Thanks for watching brother.
I loved the involvement with the full-size trucks. When I was truck shopping, I looked into the Toyotas but felt they didn't offer enough room and practicality for my day to day life. I have a 2016 Silverado Crew Cab 4x4 and have loved it so far but noticed it's the less popular in the overlanding scene.

Only thing I would have done differently if I was you is I would have made sure I had a 308 and 10mm & 12 gauge on me out there that far from home with bears and stuff lol my avalanche is a really good truck for camping I can take my mid gate out and sleep in the bed/backseats and even have a mattress if I wanted to lol
Shoot I was unfamiliar with the Colorado gun laws or I would have packed the ak. Always got a 9 and a lever gun in the truck, I was kinda hopeful we would see a bear. I actually recently heard someone spotted a grizzly crossed down from up north!
@@Whitedogoverland yeah I have no clue what the gun laws are like up there I'm from Alabama so most of the states near me are gun friendly.. if I was ever in bear or wolf country though I always see myself taking heavier firepower like 308/12 gauge & either 10mm or 357 mag for a sidearm instead of what I would usually carry like 9mm 40 or 556.. an AK would work too maybe even an AR-15 with heavy bullets.. but 308 12 gauge or 45-70 are my big mean animal guns in case I don't feel like 556 or 7.62×39 is powerful enough lol but honestly any of them would probably work.. I think I would rather have the 45-70, 12 gauge or 308 if a big mad bear was charging me.. I don't have a semi auto 308 though.. My only 308 is a bolt gun but I can still defend myself with it lol
This goes for human or animal, if my life, my wife’s life, or anyone I’m with is in critical danger I will use my firearm to protect them zero hesitation. That being said, situational awareness is key. Can’t put yourself somewhere there is higher potential for danger. In Prescott valley just last week, a guy was mauled to death in his garage by a 250# black bear. I promise you that won’t be me
I could read that dog’s mind. I wish I was in one of those sexy ass Dodges. It’s embarrassing as as my owner taking a video of me taking a dump. Huhhhh I need opposable thumbs.
If I could offer some friendly advice on your videos…far less b-roll. On camera conversations or narration should be what is contained within 90% of each video. B-roll should only make up 10% or less. Any more than that and the video begins to feel like a music video or ASMR. Again, just trying to offer advice to help improve your content.

Keep up the good work man hopefully soon enough I’ll have my rig and I can join you guys
Looking forward to it my man!
Most passes and all the good campsites in Colorado Wyoming and Utah will be closed till June. We had such a great winter!
-minus Moab
I could certainly tell! I was early to the fun but we’re headed back in september
Those new chevys are killer! Can’t go wrong in a full size rig, not as easy as a mid sized but you can bring the whole house with you if need be
Nice video! I can’t wait for the high elevation trail to open up here.
Thank you! I’m eager to return to check ‘em out!
wasent sure what this video would be like but I found it enjoyable and relaxing with out some one telling me how to feel , you just let me enjoy the ride thanks I am a new subscriber
Thank you for watching and the sub! Glad you enjoyed
Yall got the biggest trucks for basic roads 🤣
Hahaha I know right
Plan was to hit some fun stuff but everything was closed. Could probably do it all in my rav4 though
Your best videos always have the Rams!
Maybe I need to run it with those fellas more!

New subscriber...
God bless...
Thanks for the sub and watching! Best wishes!
Nice rigs… who makes your camper shell on the tundra? I’m hoping it’s something you were able to get local in Tucson as I live nearby.
It’s a pretty old company who went out of business in 2013, theyre called a Flippac and pretty difficult to find in good condition. Paid half for what the new stuff goes for!
Hey buddy,Are you open to doing any product review that is related to off-road lighting. We would like to send you our product for a review
I’d be interested in checking it out!
@@Whitedogoverland Is there a way to have a further talk? I am unable to leave my email address or Instagram here, seems the message will be deleted
Nicely done video! Was that you on the guitar in the background?
It’s not me but once I figure out a recording situation I’m going to back the videos with my own tracks!
awesome content, good scenery, good editing, you'll be big some day. subscribed to watch!
That means a lot! Thank you and thank you for the support!
I took my daughter up there last summer and we had a blast. Great video and youre making me ready to return.
Thank you! The whole western part of the state is out of a movie. Can’t beat it
For the Cummins guys how are you guys running pre runner fenders and bumper what about the intercooler being exposed how is it protected. I could not find d a good shot to pause so I could get a good look?
I’m not exactly sure, I think the bumper was cut for intercooler clearence but I could be wrong!
Had to be be someone with a rebel flag.
History is what this channels about. That flag is history no matter the evil ideology behind it.
It's a shame. I was pretty excited to see a channel that used full sized trucks but can't support someone that is ok displaying that.
@@abelgonzalez9280I feel you and some saying it's history and that's true but that's not an excuse to support racism it just shows who a person really is. I don't support any form of racist/hatred no matter who it is.
I really liked this channel until this
LMAO ❄️ ❄️ ❄️
Great video! I'll be a bit off topic, but i love you shades! Can you give me info please ! Thanks
Thank you brother. They’re oakleys not exactly sure which ones!
Boy were they squatting that mega cab.
I really enjoyed Your trip and video 😉
Thank you for watching!
I promise you that won’t be me
Good stuff man! Subscribed 👍
Thank you welcome!
Epic trip! Good wheeling, camping, and happy pups to boot! Thanks!
Totally rad time! Thanks for watching
What’s the info on the guys with the Dodge trucks, I’d love to get one of those bumpers for mine
If you’re on Instagram follow me, same handle, I’ll give you their profiles just rather not share them here
I am a yota guy but those rams are nice AF!

love your build man, stay safe
Hahahaha dude golden comment. Thanks my man
Hope y’all kept those big feet at bay!
NO TACOMAS! What a sigh of relief
Ahhhh I feel this so hard. They’re everywhere… lol
great video! any info on the cummins dodge with fender flares? thanks
If you’re on Instagram shoot me a follow to the same handle and I’ll send you his profile!
I could read that dog’s mind. I wish I was in one of those sexy ass Dodges. It’s embarrassing as as my owner taking a video of me taking a dump. Huhhhh I need opposable thumbs.
Does your tundra have a lift and what size tires?
Yep full ads suspension and running 35s I’ve got a build video from last year some stuff is outdated but check it out!
Is that a Carolina squat on the lead truck LOL
It’s unintentional, he built the the rig for desert ripping but now overlands with way to much gear for the soft springs
Just ditch the music in the background and you have a good thing going
Man when I listen to the tracks I used to add I cringe hard. I still use music but it compliments the videos
I would love to join you guys in my f150. love seeing full size trucks get put to use!
Where you located at?
@@Whitedogoverland Currently in AZ, but my lease ended a few months ago, so I am doing monthly Air BNBs. I am willing to go anywhere for the right adventure!
