    The problem is Indians Focus on the western diet more and dont try to mix the meals which we have and to have a right combination. Everyone just want quick result but doesn't understand it takes time to build muscles.

      You don't need to mix meals to get complete protein .. Your body stores free amino acids ..as long as you are having various sources of protein its ok

Abhi 2 saal se chod diya kyoki maine apne diet plans sudhar liya hai aur ab milk, sprouts, chana, paneer, whey ,daal legumes and soy chunks se apna requirement poora kar leta hu. Mera poore hafte ki diet already tayar rehti hai, isliye mujhe koi dikkat nahi hoti. Meat khane ki koi zaroorat nahi hai, log swad ke liye khate hai ye sacchai hai. kisi ko ghanta farq nahi padta animal life,environment ka. Ultimately humans sirf apna fayda dekhte hai. kher Doosre kare to karne do mai to apna part karunga.

    Yes sir. Many of my friends and Trainner are saying that without nonveg food there is no protein and amino acid. I have also told them that I'll give you a list of vegetarian foods and dairy products and nuts contain adequate amount of protein, fiber and amino acid.

      @@superstylishnamrata8359 i drink soy milk sometimes.. but for calcium you can eat almonds, raisins, tofu, sesame seeds ( i take 1 tbsp of sesame seeds daily) broccali and cabbage also has calcium.. even jeera has calcium :)

      @@bajrangmma4929 but I have thyroid so I can't eat brocolli and soya products much n I have cholesterol too so don't eat nuts and things which produce oil as m following no oil satvik diet these days but m confused as the satvik moment channel even say no to pulses if you want to cure any diease and follow 16 hours fasting...but I think I will protein become deficient too...really confused

      @@superstylishnamrata8359 I would suggest to consult a good doctor before starting this diet. Vegan diet needs to be well planned or else you will get deficiencies. Also Vitamin b12 and K2 are the key factors here and cannot be ignored. I eat lot of vegetables and fruits nuts and seeds and also taking plant protien supplement. So I am very comfortable in this diet since I make sure I am getting all the nutrients. Please consult a doctor in my opinion.

    Though I do agree that it's possible with a vegetarian diet, it takes 10 times more effort.
    Not only do you have to plan much more efficiently, the amount of calories you need to eat to get enough protein in a vegetarian diet is so much more.
    For example,
    120 calories of dal = 8g of protein (and 20+g of carbs)
    120 calories of paneer = 8.2g of protein (paneer is calorie dense and you will most likely eat more calories than you wanted)
    120 calories of chole = 6.7g of protein (and 20.6g of carbs)
    120 calories of chicken breast = 22.5g of protein (and almost 0 carbs)
    I am not trying to persuade anyone to change their diet, I'm a vegetarian myself but I hope these basic facts shed light to my point that it is much harder being a vegetarian.

      Take sattu in liquid form....
      Roasted chana with gud....
      Sprouts
      And Remember one thing Non veg foods take more time to digest than to veg whole some food....so if u take whole some food in veg like sattu or chana with gud...body will absorb protien more easily and faster than that of Non veg food...

    First of all thanks a lot Akash sir to knock this bloody myth out. My belief got a strong support. Now I'm just having a doubt that if I consume adequate amount of macros. So if time allows please make some videos on combination and amount of veg food items that complete the protein profile meeting different goals

    Sir your content is always so real and logical. Otherwise today we see dietician just blabbing anything on internet just to fill people and show temporary results. I watch only your videos for knowledge regarding nutrition and fitness. I saw an instagrammer who is a certified dietician and she started this "nosugarchallenge" trend which a lot of people started following and also milind soman also promoted on her story. I mean I am so shocked to see people so afraid of sugar.

      actually i was under the impression that natural sugar isn't bad for you but added sugar can be if you're going beyond the recommended limit (white sugar for instance). That being said, im no expert.

    If you are vegetarian...then quinoa is a superb source of protein...100g quinoa contains 18g of protein and 60 gram of carbs...but 20g you will get fibre.. that mean 40g of net carbs...this is 1:2 perfect for muscle building... quinoa is the only grain which is complete source of protein in itself and another option is you can combined with 60 grams of soya...along with it curd or greek yogurt... so in this meal you would get around 50g of protein...

    New science fads are harming people health. The agriculture, food preparation methods and diets that cultures have developed over centuries are the best, just that the food and health industry of modern world cant maximize profit on that.

    Veg source are not less in protein but have low density of protien these both have different meaning. And many people don't even know what to eat in vegiterian diet to full fill their protien intake. It's not mean the people were eating vegetarian diet normally have protien intake full

    People who say, vegetarians don't get enough protein actually do not know vegetarian food at all!!!!
    Just one example, for the protein from legumes and pulses to be optimally absorbed, you need to combine those with 'saag' or greens.

    Plants are the only source of proteins. All protein is generated by plants. Look at the Elephant, Giraffe and Horse they are all vegetarian.

    But calories of veg protein diet is much more than non veg protein diet

    Sir please ek video vegetarian diet par bna dijiye.
    Means food that you recommend after workout and which suitable for a beginner .In short healthy vegetarian food
    That every gym going person need. I know that food require body to body is different but please recommend vegetarian food that is universally helpful. Please make video on a proper diet that is minimum requirement of an individual body

    But sir according to DIAAS Score, we need to eat more protein than we are targeting so that we can get close to our protein goals. Eg (18g of egg/ chicken protein is not equals to 18g of peanut protein (according to DIAAS score)).

    With all due respect ! To live healthy you can be veggitarian or vegan but to be fit gain muscle or lose fat you can't rely on only food just add eggs and dairy sources it becomes easy else it's impractical

    The only problem is protein rich veg foods are expensive example: paneer or protein suppliments. Soy is cheap and also offers high protein with low calories. But you don't want all your protein coming from one single source. And rest of any veg protein source offer high protein only if high calorie consumed.
    So basically if you are a vegeterian and you're cutting and you aren't rich, you're doomed.

    its not about protein quantity but quality , given animal protein are closer to human ones it aids easy digestion but it would be totally okay if we eat plants for protein, besides plants have so many other things in them that aid human health and cut down many diseases..

      You should eat tofu, legumes such as kidney beans and chickpeas as well some nuts and oils, but always use almond or soy or coconut milk as they are high in protein aswell as fat.

      I haven't seen any benefits of vegan on autoimmune but I've heard of some people curing themselves on the carnivore diet, look it up

      @@nathandrake711 the idea is to get nutrients to your body. Grass fed meat is not available, if available it is very expensive so i'm not going for carnivore diet. I don't know if I can afford it for long term too. Eliminating gluten and dairy is imp to heal from autoimmune disorder. So I have to be vegan for optimal nutrition as organic vegetables are available to me.

      @@SchoolOfUnlearning3 even if you try organic diet the anti nutrients and defence chemicals in vegetables like oxalates, lectins, phytates are still there. That becomes a hurdle in the healing journey as well. Try a low oxalate diet see if it works.

    Vegetables do have protein but they do not have something called as "complete protein" which means veggies do not have a full amino acid profile
