And regardless of Güby if you have time and want to have an interesting experience I would highly reccommend reading I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream. It is avaible online as pdf, only 11 pages long and a really interesting(in a good way) experience. I love the writing.
On topic of the video, I like how it just gets more and more broken, and how Guby goes from small round cute character to a monster-looking version of him with long limbs and sharp edges. It shows the monster he's becoming or just showing more of the monster he IS.

Indigo was removed from the official rainbow the same year Pluto was designated not a planet. I personally was happy to see indigo leave since it bothered me (way back in 2nd grade even) that it was the only tertiary color. I remember looking at the color wheel and counting the 6 points and then looking as the 7 colors of the rainbow and it bothered me. I also might be biased because I frequently tried to find a nice blue crayon it was always indigo that I found. I don't know why my buckets of table crayons had a bunch of indigo crayons, but they did.

very nitpicky thing to point out, but i dont think the grandmother's name is "carrie boise". from 19:00, there's no end parenthesis after boise, which to me suggests that the rest of the name is cut off, and boise might refer to a city name, like "[she disappeared from] boise on the night of december 7th 2023"
I hope MatPat stays in this channel for longer than I expected. I really like this channel and MatPat's interactions with Ash. I know the channel will continue with Ash, and I wouldn't have it any other way, Ash is perfect for this - but I will miss MatPat's presence when he's gone from here, too.

not to mention, I feel a big part of gtlive is the interaction between ash and someone else. I hope they find someone that ash plays off of so well. Don't get me wrong, I find Ash amazingly funny, most of the time she does better than mat on the zingers in my opinion, but you still need someone to interact with in a comfortable way to make those zingers.

The line about the burning bush and the hurricane bush is from a story called 'I have no mouth, and I must scream'. I haven't read it and have done very limited research but I just thought it may be something worth noting. If anyone has anthing to say who may know more I would really appreciate it.
I mean we know the burning bush itself was a biblical reference to make the reference to AM, the artificial intelligence, being God within the world. The bird itself was created by AM to keep the survivors away from a stash of canned food, the only thing that could help them be even slightly less miserable as they were forced to be immortal.

Indigo was removed from the official rainbow the same year Pluto was designated not a planet. I personally was happy to see indigo leave since it bothered me (way back in 2nd grade even) that it was the only tertiary color. I remember looking at the color wheel and counting the 6 points and then looking as the 7 colors of the rainbow and it bothered me.
I also might be biased because I frequently tried to find a nice blue crayon it was always indigo that I found. I don't know why my buckets of table crayons had a bunch of indigo crayons, but they did.
