The first one my mum got worked amazing, the second one made me break out in HIVES. And when I told her, she told me the stinging and chipping means it’s working and forced me to keep using it. So I don’t trust those things anymore. Now my forehead is SMOOTH. (aside from SOME scabs, but the scars don’t even leave a mark. It doesn’t make it bumpy or anything 🤷♀️)
whenever I followed a daily routine, my skin got both oily and flaky, I broke out like crazy, and I had so many acne scars, etc. So, now, I wash my face 2-3x a week using BlissPro and I apply toner, serum, and an emulsifier when I remember to.. maybe 1/2 times a week 😅 its soo bad and it really pisses my friends off bc I only splash water on my face here and there, aside from the skincare I just mentioned. As a 45 year old woman who looks 37, I will say that oil cleanser, a washcloth, and a weekly gua sha facial at home with a regular cleanser and water based lotions and a light moisturizer does wonders. Heavy moisturizers just dulls my skin. I have normal skin. I am not dry. Nor oily. This regimen has kept me young. A313 works as a retinol alternative. And a sunscreen does wonders. And I don't skincare twice a day. Only once and only at night. My skin hasn't been happier.
Suntegrity impeccable sunscreen but I also live in a non humid environment. Oil cleanser I use is living libations BSE. Any of their oils make my skin look super awesome. I use washcloth for my oil cleanser. Yeah I have used other oil cleansers but BSE is something special to me. It doesn't seem to matter what 2nd cleanser I use, My skin just glows. It is something I've noticed when I used their 30 MLS size and noticed a difference when nearly gone. that is what I use. Hope it helps.
I’m a white Anglo 58 yo Aussie. My skin looks 40s I’m told regularly. I have a strict amount of and pm regime of cleanser, serums, moisturiser, retinol, vit c blah blah blah. I spend way too much but it’s almost a hobby for me. I slap it all on in the hopes of always having good skin. But lovely ladies don’t forget it’s what you do that makes the most difference: DO NOT SMOKE, don’t drink alcohol, exercise and eat good food & that will make all the difference. And SUNSCREEN of course! 🤪
Yup. I've been doing this, and even though I'm not perfect, I look slightly younger at 38 than I did at 35 when I started using retinol and hyleronic acid regularly. I try to do 1 or 2 masks a week, and I do different serums. I spend a lot of te in the sun, and I've been better than most about sunscreen since my 20's, but I'm really good at covering head to toe in the sun, my hat game is on point.
I destroyed my skin barrier when I started new medication and developed a skin picking disorder… 9 months later, I can gladly say that a simple skin care routine is the most effective way to repair your skin. Do not over do it. Somedays I just use a cleanser and Aquaphor other days I use a moisturizer and/or serum depending on how my skin is that day. I do not go outside often and live in Oregon but I should get better at using sunscreen too… I am 38 years old so I’ve started using nighttime serum or retinol a few times a week before bed too…
I was so confused thinking she was gonna be like “use a product like once a week or whenever you feel like it” but then goes on to say you need a rigid schedule like what?
I was hella confused as well. I interpreted it as, "Apart from your daily night-day routine, introduce something new so your skin doesn't get used to whatever you use as skin could develop some sort of resistance." ...which I do, and change my routine and my skin care products with proper introduction. And my skin has been awesone. 😅
You eat every day (consistency), but you dont eat the same thing every day (spontaneity). The goal is to do the essentials every day, cleanser+moisturizer+sunscreen, and then, if needed, add one or two things on top to address your daily concerns. For example, sometimes in winter I need to add a layer of petroleum jelly to my cracked dry skin, and in the summer I tend to add niacinamide to reduce oiliness. I do tretinoin most days but if my skin is looking irritated, I skip that because it's nonessential. If I did tretinoin, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, niacinamide, and vaseline every day my skin would burn, but since I never do more than two at a time, I rarely have irritation. Some people even assign ingredients to days of the week like "Vitamin C Monday" and "Glycolic Acid Thursday" to make sure they spread out ingredients, but you still need to always pay attention to how your skin is feeling in that specific day. Hope this helps!
she meant spontaneity in using the products. you want to use aha, bha, vit c, niacinamide and retinol to target all your skin issues? don't use them all in one day. use them in a cycle (example, day1: aha, day2: retinol day3: niacinamide, etc. until you use all ingredients. repeat it every week or so hence the regularity) instead of cramming all these ingredients every day as your routine.
You're so amazing! Dr, you are so approachable and knowledgeable and don't BS! I agree that it's important to adjust your routine based on what your skin is like daily .. albeit the cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen.. if I feel too dry and it's the day for retinol or an acid I'll skip ❤
I’m 46 and I don’t have a skincare routine. I do what it appears my skin needs when needed and leave it alone. I live in Arizona and grew up not using sunscreen and I only use it now if I’ll be outside for an extended period. It works for me. People love my skin 🤷🏼♀️ I also don’t wear tons of makeup for the same reason I don’t do lots of sunscreen. Your skin is an organ. You can’t give it so much stuff it has to filter out
I’ve found I really need a simple morning routine so I don’t feel rushed before heading to work. I just cleanse, use a hydrating essence, a hydrating vitamin c serum, moisturize, and apply spf. It takes less than five minutes and I still end up with dewy, glassy skin all day long. And then I can enjoy a relaxing, more targeted routine at night!
Basic is always best. I'm 30 and I started using vitamin C serum in this year, because I have freckles (thanks to my gene🙊) and slight pigmentation around my mouth area! And using just cleanser, serum, moisturizer and sunscreen everyday, my skin feels really good and yes I'm still flaunting with my freckles, but not developing new ones!
It took me years to find this simple system out for myself but ever since then I’ve absolutely been loving me skin. At 28, I can say it feels and looks finally healed from the products I abused it with as a teenager.
In the name of everyone who struggled with daily skincare routines and have desesperatly tried not destroying their skin barrier, WE THANK YOU❤ for your honesty and how vocational you are. Dr Idress, and fellow skin nerds: I need help! I have a genuine obstacle to consistency. I need some solid ideas 😌 My skincare journey has been a way to feel good about myself despite health ups and downs. Sometimes I'm bedridden. But.. how do I wash my face when I'm bedridden and exhausted? Just because I have health problems doesn't mean I nave to look it, or not take care of myself! I even have all of my skincare next to the bed! Because I'm worth it.. As is everyone! Including those in similar positions. 🥰 I simply need a method to cleanse my face. I always have a waterbottle! But rinsing doesn't seem to be enough. How does one easily cleanse the skin, getting dead skin and sunscreen off before applying products? And do so in bed? I honestly don't know which is worse.. inconsistency, or putting my lovely products overtop dead skin and grime. Help! ✨️ I have biodegradable single use face drying cloths- I use them twice, once on each side per your recommendation with the towels 😉 Makeup isn't a problem; and if it were, I do have the Bioderma Micellar Water and good 'ol cotton rounds! 😉
You could keep cotton rounds and micelle water on you bedside table, I sometimes do that. obviously actually washing is better but it would still be helpful
Bestie Doctor! Can you do a video for women over 60? I am 68 0 botox 0 surgery! I have great skin...tiny pigmentation. I have fine lines and wrinkles. My neck has minimal wrinkles, no acne, scars. I have a daily regimen morning and evening routine. Eat gluten free! Ur r so special. You recommend the basics while most dermatologists sell us a ton of products! I am loyal to you!❤
i think what she was saying was stick to a routine first while having the basics because if you can't stick to it, there will be no consistency on your skin care so it wont work
I think she's saying to focus on the basics every day, and then add in targeted treatments to address whatever your skin needs in the moment, instead of trying to do everything all at once.
I believe she means you can have several products targeting different skin problems but you don't need to use them all everyday. Do a weekly review of what you feel your skin needs, depending on the climate, your lifestyle changes, hormones, etc.
Could you do some videos on which products to use? I don’t know which serums there are even and what I could get for very sensible skin Thanks dear good energy for you 🫶🏼
Totally agree. My routine is basic. Super basic. Until mid 40s probably too basic (soap and water and occasional moisturiser 😂). At least i use a cleanser and sunscreen moisturiser now. 😊 (And night cream and C serum)
This is my skincare routine rn. Very simple and not long at all 1.Gentle cleanser 2.serum for dark spot/hyperpigmentation 3.hydrating moisturizer (with snail mucin) 4. Sunscreen
@@s4r363 snails produces hydronic acid. You can just buy hydronic acid if you want. Cereve moisturizer has hydronic acid in it and most face moisturizers have hydronic acid
Exactly. Consistency is what makes skincare works. I've been using a cleanser, a vit c serum and moisturizer (and sunscreen during the day) since last 3 years and my skin has not a single bump.
Yeah, I agree. I had a period of time when I tried to use retinol everyday and my skin hated it. I was breaking out and my skin felt like sandpaper even though I was moisturizing twice everyday. Now I use it only like twice a week and it's working great.
Thank you so much for all tips I really enjoyed. I’m a 50 year old lady with oily skin, and have had cystic acne and that reason texture skin. What will be your recommendation for morning and night routine and products ? Thank you so much 😊 in advance for your response. You are the queen of beauty ❤
Yes I just use one ingredient after cleanser each day, I won’t use 2 active ingredients at the same time, and apply a thin* layer on my face, which is important, usually people directly pump out the serum in a big pile, and then spread it *on the face* ( I mean the progress should happen either on your hand or a tiny dish before applying it in your face ) ,not spreading the serum on your face, some area got more, some area got less, unevenly , very bad and cause inflammation
I had horrible rash like acne for years. It got so bad that my cheeks would crack and bleed if I smiled. The best advice I was ever given when it comes to how I approach skincare is to ASSESS YOUR SKIN DAILY. treat your skin FOR THAT DAY. look in the mirror in the morning. Before you Cleanse. Oily? Use your salicylic acid serum after washing. Dry? Apply an extra layer of moisturizer and skip out on the harsher acids. ALSO. Spot treat! If you have combination skin, and some areas need extra attention, then give it to those areas. We get so caught up in these skincare "aesthetics" that we forget our skin is completely unique to us, and its requirements differ! ❤
Thank you! My skin barrier got so inflamed, I just gave up as I didn’t really have bad skin before and I was just trying to keep my skin from aging. Actually, the flaws came up after over using skincare. Thanks for this video. I think I’m ready to try again.
im a teen, and i have gotten no pimples yet ( 17 yrs old ) and in the morning ive only been using a gentle cleanser and sunscreen and i use a gentle cleanser and a toner at night before i sleep
I'm a 39-year-old professionally trained opera singer and I've always hated my skin. And I can't blame the stage makeup cuz I don't wear it enough for it to be a total problem. Thank you for this advice. What are your thoughts on masks?
She means doing basic skincare regularly. And not focing your skin using every single skincare product you find. Many people use everything they can find. They use nicinamide, vitamin c, salicylic acid, retinol, aha, bha etc etc. What you actually need is: A gentle cleanser A serum (targetting one or two serious skin problem you have) A moisturizer And a sunscreen (most importantly)
How do we know what serum to use? My skin is almost always inflammed by acene, so im particulary horrified of putting any type of skin care on it due to thw possiblity of it having a burning effect. I have sensitive, oily skins with patches that flake/peal due to acene. I am geuinely asking for help because nearly every skincare product I've tried sl far hasn't worked. The best I have come across, at least for cleanser, is clean and clear. But when it comes to a moisturizer, or even a cream for eye bags that has sunscreen in it, they cause me acene nearly 99% of the time. I've tried pavlon, neurtgena, revol, and a few other pricey brands (in sample sizes) without results so far. I really want to have clear and clean skin, but I'm begining to worry it may be horomones and I'd have to get different treatment for that.
I don't know if you will read this. This is my first comment on a content creator but I have to say this. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I always hated advice for skin. Everyone always had some for me and nothing worked. I especially hated Internet and social media advice and ignored all. I don't know why I listened to you in the first place but somehow (thank god) I did. I no longer have acne which I was riddled with till last year and I have even skin tone now. I will try some retinol in the future. But I am immensely grateful to you and very content right now. Keep making videos and enlightening us.love you ❤❤❤
Having my contact lenses on yesterday lol Really made me see how my bare face looks like as a whole (am not able to see faraway but can see up-close : common myopia). Of course I see my face daily lol for skincare etc, in general but * I meant, I really got a view of my skin. Contact lenses provide clear vision. -- It's thankfully very beautiful, clear for the most part, currently/temporarily hormonal (mild) from normal cycle changes, [I use Benzoyl Peroxide for this & wait for natural changes to balance to fade away] -- I do notice more so, undereye circles. And as per usual, since always, I've had medium light to fair skin, that has its own discolorations throughout some areas of my face. I feel Vitamin C for a serum to undereye cream may help. For some reason, I always experience stinging burn sensations from Hyaluronic Acid; It's an irritating sensation for my sensitive + dry skin. So I like to avoid it. Any related topics or feedback to advice on these skin woes are appreciated. Am 23. Very youthful looking appearance thankfully, skin is definitely well taken care of.
i agree but i think we should even make it broader and also include cleansing and serum, for two years i have been super consistent, i was doing my routine every day twice a day like you describe it at the beginning of the vid, but i never got the results i wanted in the end, my skin barrier was damaged, and slowly i gradually started doing less, even giving up cleansing my skin every day, which would have been inconceivable a few months back, as i have oily skin now i just use moisturizer and sun screen everyday, and only cleanse every 2-3 days, and my skin has never felt more relieved and comfortable, plus i actually have better results
Looove your advices, but correct me if I'm wrong - why do you use filters? It looks like you do, when looking the hair line... i really dont think you need it...
Can you apply the serum, let it stay for some minutes and then apply a moisturizer on top? How should it be applied? Should I remove the serum before the moisturizer?
How do you feel about toners ? I worked for an esthetician years ago and she felt that a toner was an important step and kinda had an exfoliating action as well as toning. I know some can be drying, so I usually go for A rose water.
Good question…I use the rosewater toner from Trader Joe’s. I’m 53 & my skin really loves it. I agree less can be more. Before reading the comments, I thought it was all in my head, but my skin seems to look dull with the more products that I use.❤

@patpatmoomoo5524 I have dry eczema prone skin which is why I have been obsessed with moisturising since a young age. Moisturising with anything that had no fragrance or irritants and would act as a skin barrier since i was 18 to prevent any eczema flare ups. I learnt anything with fragrance or too many ingredients would cause flare ups so I educated myself when we had no social media dermatologists or skin Dr's etc. I would also use any sunscreen as I didn't know of much varieties so would use basic drugstore ones. My skin has thanked me for it. At the moment I am using just water to wash my face I occasionally use a moisturiser which can double as a cleanser called Epimax similar or a cheaper dupe for cetreben which dr vanita rattan would rave about. But epimax is cheaper with same ingredients as cetreban. I use glycerine on damp skin from a company called naissance on amazon damp skin. Thq1qe sunscreen I use a kids and babys sunscreen 50+ from child farm. I'm also breastfeeding 2 kids a 7 month old and a 3 year old and boy does it take a toll on your youth. I may look young for now but I know if I didn't have my kids back to back and didn't lose 2 breastfeeding for nearly 4 years I would look even more youthful cos breastfeeding ages you especial if you are in your 40s lool

What is that terrifying pounding sound in the background I hear?! It's subtle but once you notice it you'll only be thinking about how it sounds like someone is persistently banging on her door and it's giving me the creeps 🥲 Skin be poppin tho
Everyone is complementing me for my skin and wants to know what I'm doing. The honest answer: water I'm not really wearing makeup so in the evening I literally will splash my face with water and dry it with a towel and that's it. Sometimes when I think my skin looks dry (or gets dry because of heating) I just use the most basic face cream for sensitive skin and that's it. I mean if you look at all the ingredients even one face cream has, if you use cleanser and whatnot you easily put 100chemicals in one day onto your face. And if you use makeup your skin has the whole day a layer of stuff on it, doesnt make it better.
This is why I like Ipsy. I can't stand doing research or shopping for myself so I just pay for the subscription and I don't wear a lot of makeup so I got it set up to prioritize skincare stuff. I get a bunch of samples of cleansers moisturizers etc and I just mix it up. Been doing it for years and my skin is so soft.
Im 53 year old lady with terrible sun damage from years of no sunscreen and in the sun alot , I know I need to get on a retiol, I would love it if you could recommend a moisturizer for my dry
I have very very VERY sensitive skin (and dermatitis), so I need to be very careful about what I put on my skin. When I wake up is a cleanse gel and a lighter moisturiser and sunscreen (still trying to get use to it, it annoys me). After shower I like to use a oil since my skin tends to react better to it. And before going to bed, the same cleanse gel, a serum and a moisturiser for dry, irritated and sensitive skin. But like, today I used makeup, I like to use a facial soap, serum and I mix the moisturiser with an oil. Those 20-something steps daily routines are tiring and I just think "this is so aggressive, there's so much going on on that poor skin", it gives me chills.
I rotate skincare almost daily. I wear a different overnight mask every night, switch up serums and moisturizers, treatments etc and I find it boosts efficacy
Serious question. I work from home and don't spend time outside very often. What kind of sunscreen do I need for a half hour walk? It's really the only time I'm out in the sun from fall to spring (lots of errands are done after sunset). I use a high SPF mineral sunscreen through the summer since I have a pool and finally found a sunscreen that doesn't lead to breakouts, but that product is overkill the rest of the time. I don't even get outside every day.

Lol 😂 I had to rewatch this and make sure I heard what I thought I heard at the beginning lmmfao 😂😂😂😊thank you for all you do!!!
lol right
I destroyed my skin barrier when I started new medication and developed a skin picking disorder…
9 months later, I can gladly say that a simple skin care routine is the most effective way to repair your skin.
Do not over do it.
Somedays I just use a cleanser and Aquaphor other days I use a moisturizer and/or serum depending on how my skin is that day. I do not go outside often and live in Oregon but I should get better at using sunscreen too…
I am 38 years old so I’ve started using nighttime serum or retinol a few times a week before bed too…
Thank you for this. I was doing it wrong for so long until I followed you a long time ago! You are a blessing from God 🙏❤️ I love you so much! 🥰
I’m not sure you understand the concept of spontaneous
Omg I thought I was the only one who thought this!! Scrolling thru the comments like, come on! Tell me someone else is with me! 😂😂😂
For real. Why the fuck is she using that word? She’s so insanely intelligent. Such a bizarre word to use lol.
I was so confused thinking she was gonna be like “use a product like once a week or whenever you feel like it” but then goes on to say you need a rigid schedule like what?
Yeah and then she went on and said something of the effect " consistency is the key."
I was hella confused as well.
I interpreted it as, "Apart from your daily night-day routine, introduce something new so your skin doesn't get used to whatever you use as skin could develop some sort of resistance."
...which I do, and change my routine and my skin care products with proper introduction.
And my skin has been awesone.
😅
Agreed. Facial Wash, Serum (or Toner) and Moisturizer. If I'm going out, add sunscreen. ✨
You should use sunscreen even if you don't go out unless you have blackout curtains
@@lynettebr I agree. 💯I have sensitive skin so I use blackout curtains.
Be regular. And consistent. But spontaneous. 🙄
Someone named « holistically healthy « who can’t digest this info correctly is hilarious
Doc, spontaneity and regularity can have opposite meanings. Are you doing this to trick people into commenting? Ok you got me 🙋🏽♀️lol
I’m so confused lol to me they clearly have opposite meanings 🤔
Yes I agree. She said spontaneity but explained regularity
she meant spontaneity in using the products.
you want to use aha, bha, vit c, niacinamide and retinol to target all your skin issues? don't use them all in one day. use them in a cycle (example, day1: aha, day2: retinol day3: niacinamide, etc. until you use all ingredients. repeat it every week or so hence the regularity) instead of cramming all these ingredients every day as your routine.
@@hainekouthank you for explaining this I was VERY confused 😅
You can’t give it so much stuff it has to filter out
You need to be wearing sunscreen every day
I’ve found I really need a simple morning routine so I don’t feel rushed before heading to work. I just cleanse, use a hydrating essence, a hydrating vitamin c serum, moisturize, and apply spf. It takes less than five minutes and I still end up with dewy, glassy skin all day long. And then I can enjoy a relaxing, more targeted routine at night!
Thats a good routine
Basic is always best. I'm 30 and I started using vitamin C serum in this year, because I have freckles (thanks to my gene🙊) and slight pigmentation around my mouth area! And using just cleanser, serum, moisturizer and sunscreen everyday, my skin feels really good and yes I'm still flaunting with my freckles, but not developing new ones!
That sweater is gorgeous 😍
It took me years to find this simple system out for myself but ever since then I’ve absolutely been loving me skin. At 28, I can say it feels and looks finally healed from the products I abused it with as a teenager.
In the name of everyone who struggled with daily skincare routines and have desesperatly tried not destroying their skin barrier, WE THANK YOU❤ for your honesty and how vocational you are. Don't stop throwing facts out there, internet can really be a contradictional nightmare 💩💩💩
Love from Spain 🇪🇸✌🏼
I did a horrible thing and left make up on for 2 days. Don't ask. Just in a funk and did nothing went nowhere 2 days. Next morning my skin looked amazing. This really convinced me to do a break in the routine day to just let my skin live it's BEST LIFE
Thank you so much for the tips but I can’t be the only person who heard a HEART BEAT throughout the video😭
“So what’s your name?” “ Oh I’m a board certified dermatologist”
Dr Idress, and fellow skin nerds: I need help! I have a genuine obstacle to consistency. I need some solid ideas 😌
My skincare journey has been a way to feel good about myself despite health ups and downs. 🥰
I simply need a method to cleanse my face. Help! ✨️
I have biodegradable single use face drying cloths- I use them twice, once on each side per your recommendation with the towels 😉 Makeup isn't a problem; and if it were, I do have the Bioderma Micellar Water and good 'ol cotton rounds!
I am loyal to you!❤
Love your no bullshit advice. 👍
Can you if you haven’t already make a video on toners and if they’re even a benefit or really needed please!!! ❤
YOUR SKIN FLAWLESS ✨✨✨
I’m also confused about what the tip actually is, could you elaborate please?
i think what she was saying was stick to a routine first while having the basics because if you can't stick to it, there will be no consistency on your skin care so it wont work
@@aniyapeach I see.. It was just confusing when she said ”what people lack is spontaneity”.
I think she's saying to focus on the basics every day, and then add in targeted treatments to address whatever your skin needs in the moment, instead of trying to do everything all at once.
@@SheilaR.08 Aha yes, thank you that was clearer 🙏🏼
I believe she means you can have several products targeting different skin problems but you don't need to use them all everyday. Do a weekly review of what you feel your skin needs, depending on the climate, your lifestyle changes, hormones, etc.
me use cleanser > adapalene > moisturizer and morning use water to wash off residue and put sunscreen. it's very simple but good for me
Could you do some videos on which products to use? I don’t know which serums there are even and what I could get for very sensible skin
Thanks dear good energy for you 🫶🏼
Totally agree. My routine is basic. Super basic. Until mid 40s probably too basic (soap and water and occasional moisturiser 😂). At least i use a cleanser and sunscreen moisturiser now. 😊 (And night cream and C serum)
This is my skincare routine rn. Very simple and not long at all
1.Gentle cleanser
2.serum for dark spot/hyperpigmentation
3.hydrating moisturizer (with snail mucin)
4. Sunscreen
Why do you need snail mucin?
did the snail mucin make you purge?
@@s4r363snail mucin is a great Moisturizer. It's basically hyaluronic acid. I use it too.
@@StellarSabSabI use it and no. It's a great Moisturizer. Doesn't contain retinol or retinals.
@@s4r363 snails produces hydronic acid. You can just buy hydronic acid if you want. Cereve moisturizer has hydronic acid in it and most face moisturizers have hydronic acid
Board certified and still gurl got filters on, real motivation for keeping things simple
Thanks for this tips
I would like to see your skin without filter.
For the lazy ones, you can use a moisturiser with SPF
Thank you! I'm 59 & the skin care game is getting So complicated and expensive. ❤
Exactly. Consistency is what makes skincare works. I've been using a cleanser, a vit c serum and moisturizer (and sunscreen during the day) since last 3 years and my skin has not a single bump.
39?!! i swear you don't look a day over 30! such radiant skin i love it
Yeah, I agree. I had a period of time when I tried to use retinol everyday and my skin hated it. I was breaking out and my skin felt like sandpaper even though I was moisturizing twice everyday. Now I use it only like twice a week and it's working great.
You and this infernal SUNSCREEN 😤
You are great! Thanks Dr.
Yessss I totally agree with you!! So many people don’t get this. ❤
Lol your neighbour hammering in the background
I got dizzy from the edits
What kind of serums or moisturisers have antioxidants? Does Vit C qualify for an antioxidant?
Yes I just use one ingredient after cleanser each day, I won’t use 2 active ingredients at the same time, and apply a thin* layer on my face, which is important, usually people directly pump out the serum in a big pile, and then spread it *on the face* ( I mean the progress should happen either on your hand or a tiny dish before applying it in your face ) ,not spreading the serum on your face, some area got more, some area got less, unevenly , very bad and cause inflammation
The stamping with a love of moisture
Can you please give us some product recommendations when talking about what we need to use
im a teen, and i have gotten no pimples yet ( 17 yrs old ) and in the morning ive only been using a gentle cleanser and sunscreen and i use a gentle cleanser and a toner at night before i sleep
What’s the name of your skincare products? What do you recommend for acne and hyperpigmentation
I'm a 39-year-old professionally trained opera singer and I've always hated my skin. And I can't blame the stage makeup cuz I don't wear it enough for it to be a total problem. Thank you for this advice. What are your thoughts on masks?
You are gorgeous!! I am a 35 year old man but i might start with some of your tips!!😊
Preach 🙌 esp sunscreen
Wow your skin is glowing I thought you were like 22-23 years old. ✨✨
She means doing basic skincare regularly. And not focing your skin using every single skincare product you find. Many people use everything they can find. They use nicinamide, vitamin c, salicylic acid, retinol, aha, bha etc etc.
What you actually need is:
A gentle cleanser
A serum (targetting one or two serious skin problem you have)
A moisturizer
And a sunscreen (most importantly)
Been following and love your content! My biggest discoloration is my under eyes and redness around my nose. What do I do for that?
Am 23. Very youthful looking appearance thankfully, skin is definitely well taken care of.
i agree but i think we should even make it broader and also include cleansing and serum, for two years i have been super consistent, i was doing my routine every day twice a day like you describe it at the beginning of the vid, but i never got the results i wanted
in the end, my skin barrier was damaged, and slowly i gradually started doing less, even giving up cleansing my skin every day, which would have been inconceivable a few months back, as i have oily skin
now i just use moisturizer and sun screen everyday, and only cleanse every 2-3 days, and my skin has never felt more relieved and comfortable, plus i actually have better results
Sunscreen should be applied even when your at home? Cause am home mostly go out once or twice only in a week that why I asked.❤
@@vstegall2000 Yes I have to remind myself that less is more. I recently switched from 10% vitaminC serum to 16% w vitamin E and fullerene and I think the lower percentage worked better. I’m 65..
what moisturizer with antioxidants do you reccomend?
I only use a face wash, moisturizer and sunscreen. I’m about to be 39! I have never loved my skin more. I only use a lip gloss, mascara and sometimes a little concealer. ❤
Mother of 3 kids breastfeeding for over 3 years had my kids back to back as well as losing 2. Im 41 next week and i look like im in my 20s.
Ive used suncream since i was in college. My skin care is wash face with water use glycerine as my moisturiser and sunscreen. People have always thought i was and am in my early 20s and when i tell them im 40 they are shocked.

Hereditary, Gene's Play a big role, ❤❤❤
Yup. Genetics plus a stick to it routine with the right ingredients… awesome! Would love to hear what products you use and if you have combo skin (as I do and always looking for stuff to try out).
@patpatmoomoo5524
I have dry eczema prone skin which is why I have been obsessed with moisturising since a young age.
@walkingbyfaith2885
I agree I'm just waiting for menopause to get me and I know that's when I may feel that i have aged lool
@KN-cr9fv oh dear heart don't wait on menopause, don't speak that into Existence, I'm almost 70 years of age, I've never experienced menopause or anything else
Blessings to you ❤️❤️❤️
What is that terrifying pounding sound in the background I hear?! It's subtle but once you notice it you'll only be thinking about how it sounds like someone is persistently banging on her door and it's giving me the creeps 🥲
Skin be poppin tho
Am struggling to find a good light sunscreen- can you please advise?
Everyone is complementing me for my skin and wants to know what I'm doing. The honest answer: water
I'm not really wearing makeup so in the evening I literally will splash my face with water and dry it with a towel and that's it.
What are your thoughts about rejuvinating products such as Kojic soap, toner (hydroquinone and tretinoin)?
Im 53 year old lady with terrible sun damage from years of no sunscreen and in the sun alot , I know I need to get on a retiol, I would love it if you could recommend a moisturizer for my dry
I was about to sleep with my make-up on and then this appeared on my reel. 😂Thank you Dr.❤
YOU LOOK AMAZING!!! Subscribing.
Can i use a sunscreen as a moisturizer? A sunscreen that does both
I love your videos, your skin is the definition of my skin goals!
Are cleanser and face wash same?
Serious question. I work from home and don't spend time outside very often. What kind of sunscreen do I need for a half hour walk? It's really the only time I'm out in the sun from fall to spring (lots of errands are done after sunset). I use a high SPF mineral sunscreen through the summer since I have a pool and finally found a sunscreen that doesn't lead to breakouts, but that product is overkill the rest of the time. I don't even get outside every day.
What sunscreen would you recommend for someone with super sensitive skin? Every facial sunscreen I've tried has made me break out into a rash or acne.
Sunscreen for lips ?
Which one would be " one with antioxidants that " double both " ??. Sorry. English is not my first language. So I'm guessing here. Can u clarify ?
I get those clogged pores in my chin I extract them but they return so fast.. Do you have any tips?
Can you do a video on different & the best serums to use?
