- In this video, I show you guys how I installed the CTS Turbo intake on my 2016 Audi C7.5/4G8 Facelift A7 Quattro Prestige! It's pretty simple to do and you could definitely do it yourself at home! Was thinking of going with CTS cuz its on the cheaper side but after what i just saw with that loose hose, i decided to go with the 034's CAI. Hope you do more with her. Good luck!!

Yea I definitely understand. I was able to find a plastic hose coupler from the local autoparts store that worked well. Not sure why CTS does this cause it was the same on my B8 S4 haha. Definitely can't go wrong with 034Motorsport products too. I'm planning to do 034Motorsport tune sometime in the future. Definitely doing more to the A7. Got some parts on the way.
Awsome video brotha I found the mishimoto heat tape on the heat shield and intake piping to definitely help easy to use and for under 50$ can’t beat with it stick lmao

Hey there, just installed the same intake as well, everything was perfect until the next day it started making a loud squeaking noise, thought it was the breaks but it’s coming from the intake area. I was hoping you might know how to fix this problem, it does it when I’m putting it in reverse or just cruising on the roads. I also have an a7 2015 but don’t want to take it to the mechanic if it’s something simple I could do like adjust or fit the parts more tightly. Thank you !

I really don’t like that sound, it’s more like something is broken now 😬.
I’d rather have something done to the exhaust, I’ve had a 2013 SQ5 with a Milltek exhaust.
That had a really heavy and rumbling sound.
But that’s just my opinion ofcourse 😊.
Yea, I totally get it. Different people, different likes. I personally wouldn't put an exhaust on my A7 or an SQ5 when I do get one because of what I intend to use those car for. 👍

How is the 2016 a7 3.0 sc in terms of reliability and if it can reach higher mileage?
The CREC 3.0 is supposed to be more reliable than the previous generation. Mine has been great so far. Already put about 20k miles and still runs great. Almost at 100k miles now.
So what did you do with the part that didn’t fit before you installed the main filter? Also was it worth it buying the intake?
Are you referring to the small vacuum lines? I found a vacuum line connector at a local autoparts store that fit both side pretty good and used that.
Honestly, I feel like it's definitely worth it. The sound is intoxicating 👍

Hey man, Im having so much trouble trying to remove the airbox, how did you manage to do it?
Is it the secondary ar injection hose?
Any idea why my silicone hose keeps coming loose on my throttle valve?
Do you have a CTS intake as well? You mean the silicone coupler?

i accidentally dropped mine in the engine bay & i’m afraid to drive without it connected. what should i look for when buying a new one?
It's the vacuum extension hose to connect to the CTS intake tube. Highly recommend to get it fix. The engine will not run right with a vacuum leak. Look for a vacuum hose and hose coupler that fit both into the stock short vacuum hose and the nipple on the CTS intake pipe.
I got a two-ended nipple and vaccum line for AutoZone since I bought my CTS Turbo used and its worked just fine. I can't remember the size of tube and nipple I got so unfortunately I can't give you sizes but it was only about $10.
How did you fix that loosened vacuum inlet?
Dang, totally forgot about that. I need to make it right. But at this time I actually put a zip tie on the loose side and it's been holding up good for a couple of weeks.
But I will either be getting the correct size extension hose and a larger inner hose coupler tomorrow haha. Thanks for reminding me!

Their webpage says 8-10hp. I honestly can't feel any major hp increase other than a much louder supercharger whine. I wasn't really looking at more hp but more intake noise. No dyno numbers. I'd recommend it. It definitely makes the car more fun to drive.

I just installed this on my car and the little part you called an extended breather hose do you just leave it there or connect it to the intake because for mine I just connect it to the little thing you had to run to the store for and left it like that?
Yes, so I went to the local autoparts store to find a hose connector to better fit both the oem hose and the supplied extended hose. The extended hose is installed onto the CTS intake pipe and the other end with the connector connects to the oem vacuum hose.
@@cjscarcollection18 I don’t think my extended hose that came with the kit fits onto the intake pipe if I understood correctly it’s supposed to fit onto the intake pipe?
@vladnestor3281 yes, it might not fit exactly but If I can recall you have to somewhat force it on there.

Yes I do. This one is not smog legal here in California.

Yup, definitely into these mods cause if I wasn't then I wouldn't be doing them. I am not building this car to be a racecar, only modifying it to be a little bit more enjoyable to drive. 👍

I actually found a plastic hose coupler that worked really well from the local autoparts store. I'll try and get a part number of the coupler kit when I get home from work.

Filters air that goes into the secondary air injection pump 👍

@marcmills9314 Yes, definitely get one if you don't have one on. Don't want to cause any issues with the SAI pump cause it can cause a CEL causing you to fail SMOG depending on where you are located.

You might have the engine but you dont know everything. Intercooler makes a bigger dofference on temps than a ambiant temp on an intake. @Pjfreds
