Girl I did it with you 😂, I was so scared this being my first time but it actually was very easy and no pain at all… thank you for doing this straight forward video. ❤ 2month Update: So i’m now at 1ml for wegovy. In total I’ve lost about 17lb in two months. The .5ml didn’t do much the first two weeks but the 1ml is much more effective. keep in mind that’s with little to almost no exercise if I’m honest. I have a back injury I’ve been trying to heal. So don’t expect a drastic change if you’re not working out. No major side effects for me. I only get nausea when I smell something extremely bad. Some minor stomach cramps every blue moon, and very little breakouts on my face that went away after a week, No constipation issues.

I never done it in my arms or thighs, my endocrinologist started me with ozempic, 4 months after make me go With wegovy, the best, huge amazing difference. I inject mine on my abdomen, I hold a bit some of my abdomen, and go, I never tasted it or felt any bad side effects. I won’t inject mine ever on thighs or arms, my abdomen works perfect to me. Good luck! This medicine is miracle. I’m so happy. It changed my life

i thought it was going to hurt , took me damn 5mins to work myself up to jab myself - the most painless needle i have ever felt , not even a pinch nothing , painless.
Just picked up my Wegovy and plan on taking my first injection Friday night or Sat night. Worried about being nauseous the next day. what should I expect? I have to work catering most of Sat evening and night. I'm worried about feeling sick while working.
If you experience nausea try staying hydrated with water and try sipping on some peppermint tea. If you are working and you can’t then sucking on a mint or chewing mint gum has also helped me in the past.

Yes! you definitely must push down on the pen in order for the needle to make contact with you skin. Once you push down on the pen, you will feel a small poke and that’s the needle. Continue to apply pressure until you see the yellow bar completely cover the window.

I am going to comment. There are so many ridiculous videos out there.😬😖 I needed something precise and without any distractions. I picked up my prescription on September 9th and have so much anxiety around taking it. Every day I tell myself this is the day and here I am October 28th. 😖 I have messaged my doctor several times and she has not responded. I think I'll meditate first. Thank you for putting this out. I'm editing this to add that I did ask for my doctor to setup an appointment with NP or another person. I am having lower back surgery next month and losing any amount of weight would have been helpful. I saw my neurosurgeon on October 11th and they gave me test orders, some I have completed and they are supposed to be within 30 days. So soon.🤯

I use Neutrogena Ultra Gentle daily cleanser, I exfoliate once a week, I don’t use colored wash clothes, and I moisturize daily with a retinol niacinamide cream made by Advanced Clinicals.

Quick question why the arm or leg ? When I went to my clinic to pick up mine the doctor said we gonna do stomach only and I was nervous to ask why lol ❤
Hi, personally my arm and leg is just preferred. My doctor as well as the official Wegovy website listed the upper arms, stomach and thigh as acceptable injection sites. Also I’m just personally nervous to inject anything into my stomach but it is a recommended injection site. But I’m not sure why your doctor only wants you to inject the medication into your stomach. There are some injection instructions in your Wegovy prescription box and step 2 says “your healthcare provider can help choose the injection site that is best for you .” So perhaps your doctor feels your stomach is the best injection site. I hope this helped!

Hi, you are so welcome! I had a lot of side effects when I first started the medication but I’ve been on Wegovy for over a year and I no longer have any side effects. My most common side effects were dry mouth, nausea, and low energy but with some planning and supplements I was able to manage the symptoms.
I'm going to try my arm tonight. 1.7 and 2.4 have not been working as well for me as the lower doses. Don't know if changing the injection site will help.
Hi👋🏽… yes absolutely, the nausea was present at the lower dosages but was really bad when starting the 1.7 and 2.4 mg doses. I was able to counteract the nausea by drinking peppermint tea, chewing gum and I also realized that on the days I didn’t drink enough water was also the days my nausea was at the worst. So make sure to drink plenty of water. Please try the foregoing and hopefully your nausea will subside. On the bright side… I have absolutely NO nausea now! So hang in there!!💕

@@Gris_ambz Hi, no I haven’t noticed any vision changes but my eyesight isn’t the best! I did experience feeling lightheaded but that was remedied by me adjusting my calories and staying hydrated. However, perhaps you should consult with your physician just in case just to be cautious. There have been quite a few people who have reported strange symptoms.
Yes, I had plenty of side effects. Headache, dry mouth, tiredness, nausea, constipation… but many people don’t experience any of these side effects. So my experience may not be yours. However, I’m still on the highest dosage and now I have no side effects. My body has completely adjusted to the medication.
I injected my first dose today into my stomach, I didn't see any leakage but I couldn't feel anything. There was a little ring around the injection site. I'm a little concerned that I didn't do it right. How do I know if I did it wrong?
Hi, if there is no liquid left in the injection pen then you know it entered into your body especially if there was no leakage and you saw there was liquid prior to the injection. I always have a little ring left on my skin on injection day but it disappears after a while. As a side note always inspect your pen prior to injection to make sure it has liquid and that the fluid is not cloudy. I hope this helps!!

@@Greater_Expectations I hope I did it right. My arm feels sore. I did it right under the deltoid. I called my doctor’s office and nurse said I did. It’s a little painful. Did you ever have pain after it? I’ve been doing my stomach for the past 3 months. Next week’s injection will be 1.7 mg.
@ChronicallyJenny Yes, I felt a little pain and it usually subsides. I remember the first few times I injected in my arm it hurt but I think now I’ve just gotten use to it.
Yes, I was nauseous but drinking plenty of water, chewing gum, and drinking peppermint tea really helps combat nausea. The nausea lasted quite a bit throughout my journey but eventually subsided.

Ummm I think it depends on where you inject yourself. The thigh isn’t bad… nor is the back of the upper arm. It’s a tiny prick and it doesn’t hurt that much but if you do have pain… it won’t last very long. Also once you get use to injecting yourself, it’ll be your new normal… it’s not bad at all! Honestly, I’ve felt much worse 💉🤗

Hi, I had less side effects in my thigh so it was a preferred injection site for some time. But my doctor’s suggestion was to try all recommended injection sites (upper arm, stomach, thigh) each week to see which site your body responds best to.

@lf9341 Yes, for me the .25 mg dose provided some appetite suppression but it wasn’t very strong. I did lose some weight at the lower doses but the real magic began to happen once I reached 1.7 mgs.
@lf9341 Yes I sure did have constipation early on. But I stay hydrated and take fiber supplements and so these days constipation is very rare. Metamucil is a great fiber supplement. I haven’t experienced any hair loss but I do take Natures Bounty hair,skin, and nail gummies with collagen.
Yes when you initially push the pen firmly against your skin you’ll hear that first click, then the yellow pane will begin to move and then you’ll hear that second click.

Question do you put your pens in the refrigerator..or keep it in a cool dry place like a cabinet or closet?
Hi, I always refrigerate my pens and prior to my injection I will let the pen come to room temperature.

Hi, you are so welcome! I had a lot of side effects when I first started the medication but I’ve been on Wegovy for over a year and I no longer have any side effects. My most common side effects were dry mouth, nausea, and low energy but with some planning and supplements I was able to manage the symptoms.

Hi👋🏽… yes absolutely, the nausea was present at the lower dosages but was really bad when starting the 1.7 and 2.4 mg doses. I was able to counteract the nausea by drinking peppermint tea, chewing gum and I also realized that on the days I didn’t drink enough water was also the days my nausea was at the worst. So make sure to drink plenty of water. Please try the foregoing and hopefully your nausea will subside. On the bright side… I have absolutely NO nausea now! So hang in there!!💕

Also, did you feel it affected your eye sight at all? Since starting the upper dose I feel dizzy similar to when I had to get my eyes checked for prescription
@@Gris_ambz Hi, no I haven’t noticed any vision changes but my eyesight isn’t the best! I did experience feeling lightheaded but that was remedied by me adjusting my calories and staying hydrated. However, perhaps you should consult with your physician just in case just to be cautious. There have been quite a few people who have reported strange symptoms.
Did you have any side effects when you first started Wegovy?
Yes, I had plenty of side effects. Headache, dry mouth, tiredness, nausea, constipation… but many people don’t experience any of these side effects. So my experience may not be yours. However, I’m still on the highest dosage and now I have no side effects. My body has completely adjusted to the medication.

I injected my first dose today into my stomach, I didn't see any leakage but I couldn't feel anything. There was a little ring around the injection site. I'm a little concerned that I didn't do it right. How do I know if I did it wrong?
Hi, if there is no liquid left in the injection pen then you know it entered into your body especially if there was no leakage and you saw there was liquid prior to the injection. I always have a little ring left on my skin on injection day but it disappears after a while. As a side note always inspect your pen prior to injection to make sure it has liquid and that the fluid is not cloudy. I hope this helps!!

@ChronicallyJenny Yes, I felt a little pain and it usually subsides. I remember the first few times I injected in my arm it hurt but I think now I’ve just gotten use to it.

Yes, I was nauseous but drinking plenty of water, chewing gum, and drinking peppermint tea really helps combat nausea. The nausea lasted quite a bit throughout my journey but eventually subsided.

Don’t worry… you may not have any symptoms at all and if you do perhaps they’ll be mild especially if you’re starting at the lowest dose. I’m excited for you to start your journey! Hi there, yes I typically allow my pen to set out for about 30 minutes. I’ve never injected the medication cold.

Ummm I think it depends on where you inject yourself. The thigh isn’t bad… nor is the back of the upper arm. It’s a tiny prick and it doesn’t hurt that much but if you do have pain… it won’t last very long. Also once you get use to injecting yourself, it’ll be your new normal… it’s not bad at all! Honestly, I’ve felt much worse 💉🤗

Hi, I had less side effects in my thigh so it was a preferred injection site for some time. But my doctor’s suggestion was to try all recommended injection sites (upper arm, stomach, thigh) each week to see which site your body responds best to.

I let go of my thigh during injection and I heard 2nd click when I let go. I held the pen on there for count of 12.

@lf9341 Yes, for me the .25 mg dose provided some appetite suppression but it wasn’t very strong. I did lose some weight at the lower doses but the real magic began to happen once I reached 1.7 mgs.

@lf9341 Yes I sure did have constipation early on. But I stay hydrated and take fiber supplements and so these days constipation is very rare. Metamucil is a great fiber supplement. I haven’t experienced any hair loss but I do take Natures Bounty hair,skin, and nail gummies with collagen.
I only got 1 click, but I got the yellow pane.
Yes when you initially push the pen firmly against your skin you’ll hear that first click, then the yellow pane will begin to move and then you’ll hear that second click.
