    So it's fine that I take my Mounjaro in the mornings thanks. I was hospitalized back in October diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. At the time of being hospitalized my blood sugar was almost 500. As of today my blood sugar has been consistently in the 85 to 110 range for the past 4 months. I just want to share with other visitors the only changes I have made to my diet. I know it might not work for everyone but some people may benefit from my changes. The first change I did was stopped drinking Soda. My drinks of choice now are 1 cup of Chocolate Milk a day and Gatorade Zero the rest of the day. The second thing I did was stop eating TV dinners. My third change was I started walking on a treadmill twice a day (started out at 30 minutes each session then progressed to 1 hour each session). The final change I made was to stop stressing out over stuff I can't control. My A1c started out over 11 last check up it was a 5.7. Hope my list is helpful to some others good luck everyone.

But right away my morning blood sugars are in the 80s and 90s! So I’m thrilled. No more over 100 since I started. No more anxiety attacks. Like right away. I sometimes have to make myself eat especially the couple days afterwards since not much of an appetite. But the exhaustion is beyond real. I’m so exhausted and kinda having sleep issues the 1st week. I hope this gets better then next few weeks cuz I can’t hang really tbh. I’ve nvr been in a prescription actual drug before either so it’s been rough for me. Pray for me

    Ozempic: Be wary of the days following the transition from 0.25 to 0.5 mg or 1 to 2 mg.
    About 48 hours after the first day (Friday night) of increased dosage I had G.I. problems severe enough to almost needing a day off of work.

      In about 2 weeks, I'm highering my dosage to 0.5 mg. I already have back pains. I'm physically disabled from a work accident that happened years ago. So I assume I won't notice the difference? I just hope I don't have more back pain.
      To prevent getting nausea or stomach aches after taking a shot, just sit about 1/2 hour doing nothing. If you're walking or doing the littlest things, it can cause an upset stomach. So wait it out for the medication to go through your body.

    I’m currently on Metformin 500mg and Jardiance 25mg as well as Crestor 10mg. I’m 5’10 180lbs. If I was to move to a once weekly injectable would it likely replace both Jardiance and Metformin? If not, which would it likely replace? This would still leave me taking a daily pill. Which of the injectables do you think does the best for weight loss/control? Which iyo has the least side effects?

    Is it required to let your Mounjaro come to room temp before taking?

    • @SugarMDs
      @SugarMDs  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes, it's often recommended to let Mounjaro come to room temperature before administering it, as this can reduce discomfort during injection. Typically, allowing the medication to sit out for about 30 minutes before use can make a difference. However, always check the medication guidelines or consult with your healthcare provider for specific instructions!

      @SugarMDs  Месяц назад

      Starting a new medication can understandably bring up some nerves, but it's great that you're taking this step for your health. While some people do experience side effects when starting medications like Ozempic, Trulicity, or Mounjaro, many find that these can be managed or subside over time. Common side effects may include mild digestive issues, but not everyone experiences them. It can help to stay hydrated and follow any specific guidance from your doctor. Make sure to reach out to your healthcare provider if you have questions or need adjustments. Wishing you the best of luck as you begin this new treatment-you’ve got this!

    Please believe me I took for the first time .025mg of Ozempic on a Wednesday morning and woke up in the hospital the following Sunday. It destroyed my kidneys I now have stage three kidney disease. I remember Wednesday night I was sweating and vomiting and I was unable to breathe or get any oxygen and I kept telling my wife that the Ozempic will pass or lighten up but it got worse Saturday was a blur and late Sunday night I realized that I was in the hospital for six days no food or water would stay down. Be careful the side effects can and will kill you. A good drug for some death ☠️ for others

      @@taraham118idk I’m having a hard time believing that 1 dose caused stage three disease in less than a week if it was taken correctly and the prescriber was well informed of history and health, recent labs were done etc. This just seems unlikely. I believe the hospital and the kidney disease. I’m just having a hard time understanding how the very first dose, being so small, caused so much damage in such a short time. There had to be other factors involved.
