Here's a video of me recreating New Super Mario Bros. Wii's Final Castle in the New Super Mario Bros. U Style. This level was far too long to make into one level, so I had to make 3 levels and splice the footage together. And even then, it is still not a block-for-block remake. This level was created in Super Mario Maker 2 on the Nintendo Switch & all footage was recorded at 1080p & 60fps.

You know, I wished they actually made Bowser's the right size because he seems small also i loved that you added the music from the wii

In the NSMB style, I never use Bowser without making him big. When he's small, it does not seem right. He looks puny and not at all intimidating. For the NSMB style they should have had Bowser with the mushroom his normal size and have him get giant from there.
@@StakeJade I don't think so cuz if that happened most smb1 levels would be broken so Instead I think you could be able to give enemy's and bosses 3 mushrooms so they get bigger than origanaly
Esther Keeler That would work too. That way I can forget about using the smallest Bowser size and still have two sizes to use in the NSMB style. Yeah. I agree that you should be able to give bosses/enemies multiple mushrooms.
It would've been a nice touch to have fire bars acting like the lava waves in the final segment, but... wow.

This music always give me good chills, it’s so epic! 🔥 Also this is a good recreation of the final Bowser castle of New Super Mario Bros Wii, I remember playing the original years ago, I was literally shaking when I reached the switch that would made Bowser fall into the lava, because I died so many time before I finally cleared it

The reason it’s one of my favourite games is nostalgia. Bowsers castle is my favourite and the final boss is the best part of the game.

I agree, especially with the NSMBU final boss, it's the third time Bowser's been gigantic, why couldn't we have a fight with, idk all the koopalings, Bowser and Bowser Jr, as final bosses but harder? Oh well, Nintendo works in mysterious ways. Dumb, but mysterious ways.

With the restrictions of smm2, and the fact that this had to be split into more than one level, this is still a very good level, and about as close to the original as you can get. Very nice work!

You revived all my old childhood!! I remember that the first battle i think already won, but the giant Bowser gave me a great impression, and when my wii remote vibrated always i believed that he's roaring near by me, then i ran away waiting he breaks all the blocks all full of fear but with a lot of joy because never i was so near of the true ending... i was flying with the helicopter and finally after crossing platforms and lava waves... i get to the switch and finally i saved the princess 😍😢 never i will forget that loud victory scream all around my apartment... and crying of happiness during the credits for finally say after the staff roll "My dream finally... was maked real. Oh yeah"

This is a BREATHTAKING recreation! It is amazing and I don't know how else to support it but to make that subscribe button grey! It's completely identical. It was just mario maker's limited material. I only wish I could get Nintendo Switch online to play it myself, if you shared it.

Too me personally. The coolest thing that you could make in smm2 are boss fights.
Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot of variety with the boss fights.

@@DarkLordChaos I try my best to come up with unique boss fights in my levels if you ever wanted a look? By the way your remake gave me goosebumps because of how cool it is!

Wow, Dark Lord Chaos, I liked how you tried to make it similar as the door you use to go battle bowser like in the wii 7:30.
To stop people going back in the pipe, you should have done a well placed thwomp that after you go into the area it triggers a two state block and blocks you and kills it

dragonslr easier solution is put two clouds on tracks then a semi solid and something blocking you from going under the semi solid

I wish there was a way so after you beat one level it automatically goes to the next one so you wouldn't need all 3 level codes in the description but just one since if the switch's hardware limitations can't handle more than 2 sub-areas this would be the best alternative

What if for the first part of giant bowser, we put him on a muncher, thats on a platform, thats on tracks so we can add the deadly lava on the bottom without killing bowser. :D

if you want to remake the final castle from new super mario bros wii in super mario maker(1 or 2),and you wanted to use this video as a tutorial,but it was to fast,go to settings and slow it down

I wish you made the whole final boss sequence out of hard blocks and there was two ways that you could have added the fire to the Intermission section which are big lava bubbles on tracks and put the second half of the final final boss bowser so close to the Intermission section in the same area that he gets loaded and shoots fire

This isn't a single level. The sub-area is both vertical and horisontal at the same time? And some parts a auto-scroll, and some are not? This is just clips from different levels. At 6:40 you can hear that the music changes.

The ending P switch was 100% unnecessary. A cinematic end was the whole reason the devs added the axe at the end.
