The ending sequence with giant bowser really loses a lot when the lava waves are taken out. Makes me wish those had been added at some point.
the only thing not good with this is that there was no "fire balls" at the hallway to bowser, maybe you could've made bullent bills shot at that part moving on a spring or something?

Red M&M this was just a remake of the wii castle so if the wii didn’t have it this level most likely didn’t unfortunately

Namikaze Sjjn The Wii level did have fireballs in the hallway, though. Bullet Bills would be good replacements, but the blasters would be in the way, and Banzai Bills are too big, so yeah. None of that.

Even though some parts look almost exactly the same. Those who had this as their childhood can tell that it is different.

I remember when I was 6 years old I couldn't even get to the second half of the boss fight and now I can clear the entire thing without taking damage lol

That's his whole thing for content. Making useless video ideas that stretch out the video length. You can get a good representation of this with his koopalings videos. He made like 500 of them with dumb ideas involving them that stretch the video length
I’m questioning that a side by side comparison wouldn’t shorten the video time at all, and it would be extremely hard to edit in.

Say what you want about the New Super Mario Bro’s series, but that final boss song probably has to be one of the greatest pieces of final boss music of all time.
I'd say that honor goes to both Galaxy games.

This was a part of my childhood but sorry, you get a 7 out of ten. I would give a 6 out of ten but it’s kinda the games fault that Giant Bowser isn’t that giant. Amazing try though.

I mean while that might be true, I also feel like that's just because of its popularity, I wish that more people's childhood were better series like zelda or animal crossing, though nowadays, those games are becoming more popular, especially with the 2d mario games drop in quality, and 3ds lack of quantity

I played 2 of the Zelda games, a little bit on twilight princess, it was good but I wasn't that convince...skyward sword, it was OK in the beginning but didn't like it because of the enigma plus I was blocked in the second world. And Animal Crossing, I never found an interest in it. So whatever happens to my dear plumber, I'll still be a admirer of him.

This was incredibly impressive ^-^
I started to notice the difference in layout starting with the falling platforms but even with limitations this recreation was done so perfectly. The Bowser was bigger too in the regular version but obviously you can't make him as big in Super Mario Maker 2. I just think that this recreation was so good considering the tools they give you and how they were used. Even the final boss fight had a similar feeling to when I watched it to how it was when I played the game. I like the back to back comparison too. This was so perfect :)
The further away you get from Bowser, the angrier he becomes and the music gets tempo

Oooh! I played a similar level just like this, but details were a little different. The lava part was the hardest for me. Not to mention it was autoscroller in that section.

I feel like a side by side comparison would've been better, or since that would definitely be too difficult with how long one stage takes compared to the other, switching between the two versions for each section. It makes it much more of a *comparison*, since that particular section is still fresh in our minds, rather than here where it's something that I had to remember as you ran along

He's sticking to the original rules. In the actual game, Bowser was too big to jump over, so you had to run under him.

@@olliebomb8 no i mean the second part of the mario maker level. Bowser can't be bigger than that, so for this particular level, using the bigger bowser on the first part wouldn't have made sense.

I think you could have recreated the lava waves with fire bars. It would be difficult to get the timing down but it would be super cool.

I had a thought about something that should be in Mario maker 2
Mixed themes
How it works: you hold on a theme, then select any other theme
You could have
Snow and castle
Underground and forest
And maybe you create new level themes
Ground and castle make volcano
Underground and sky make mountain
Ghost house and forest could make the haunting forest levels from new super Mario bros 2
I like the idea but it creating entirely new level themes (Like Mountain and Volcano) is a bit unrealistic. Still I want certain aesthetic differences depending on the themes (Ex. The Overworld is Snow and the Sub-area is Underground so the Underground sub-area would have frozen aesthetics)

The funny thing is when u give the mushroom to bowser in Mario maker it’s the size of regular bowser meaning bowser is Absolutely huge even if he isn’t huge . Also none the less this was an absolutely amazing video keep going ;)
My brothers and I decided to play through the whole NSMBW in 2 days and finished the final boss on our birthday. I'm well familiar with this stage. XD
I recreated this level in SMM for 3DS obviously it have it's limits but I managed to do it.
By the way,it was before this level was created like almost one year ago,but his level is different cause he and I both added our personal touches.
