Thankyou for doing this podcast. I was originally diagnosed with Crohn's but then my diagnosis changed to Ulcerative Colitis. After a few years of failed biologics and steroids i chose to "take control" and get an ileostomy/stoma bag. It's the best decision i have ever made. I watched Amy's Crohn's documentary and i recommended it to friends and family so that they could understand what it's like to go through. Amy has always been a positive inspiration for me, and i can't thank her enough for being so open and vulnerable in telling her story to help others. She sure has helped me. Im so glad Amy is cancer free and i hope that it stays the same way, and she is back on the dance floor soon 💜💜
Thank you both of you. You both are showing awareness for so many people women and men. I love you Dr Liz. You are my rock my teacher. I pray all is going great for you both ❤
Hi Liz, great podcast, thank you for your ongoing work raising awareness and educating ❤ I have a question I would love you to answer or discuss. What do you think of Thomas Seyfried theory of cancer being a metabolic disease and the idea that being in a state of low level ketosis might lower the risk of cancer developing? I’m a her2 bc survivor and I’m interested in Dr Seyfrieds theory from a recurrence prevention strategy point of view.
