Absolutely. It’s a process if you really want it to look good before the next ride
I’ve used SC-1 the last couple times detailing and it works great but it’s expensive
I’ve found rubbing in the wd-40 with a microfiber towel gives even better results and helps bring out the stains in my plastic
I have a hand pump filled with WD-40 before I ride. Makes cleanup super simple.
Use that tire foam on the black plastic and it works great to make it shine too
WD-40 will degrade the plastic over time, making it brittle and crack. If your plastics are a light color/white it will yellow them. Better to use a silicone based lube/coating.
There is permanent nanotechnologie products that work great .
Do you powerwash the interior too? I've got a bunch of splashed mud and dirt inside the cabin, and I'm worried about powerspraying in there..

Nothing to worry about at all. I’ve had RZRs since 2012 and washed every one like this without the first issue.
Foam canon work really well on this
ive had one for years but i still never thought it came out as well as this method. Though i never tried "actual" foam cannon degreaser.
What soap did you use for hand washing?
Just whatever soap I had on the garage. lol

I washed mine this weekend and check engine light came on after washing and spraying wd-40 all over the motor area, has that ever happened to you?
Not one time has that happened to me since owning my first rzr in 2012.
