@@EagleEye621 thanks for the reply! So they basically just pull the blazes to the four corners? (I just like understanding how these game mechanics work)
Nice. And a relatively 'simple' way to disable the spawner while you work--get about a stack and a half of jack-o-lanterns and use them to fill the 9x9 around the spawner (technically , you don't need to fill the entire space, just enough to keep it lit up enough, but simpler just to fill it). You can place another row around it for your 10x10 to help as a building guide to set up for the rest of the build. Also useful is a lava trick that I learned from a couple of Hermitcrafter's builds quite a while ago. Go above the lantern laye, and when building the roof on top, go to the 3rd block in from each corner, and put a dispenser facing downwards in each, Go on top, and redstone wire the dispensers together so they can all be activated at once. Put a bucket of lava in each dispenser. Also run a line off of one edge to a torch tower that will be triggered by a button in your safe room (a slightly better design uses a redstone lamp and a flip-flop to give an indicator when the lava is out and when it isn't). Npw put a layer of signs under that layer of lanters. making sure all spots are covered. Trigger the dispensers, then carefully mine out the lanterns, being *very* careful not to break a sign, lest you take a bath in what the MC tuber Tango Tek calls the 'happy fun sauce' :-) Once this is all done, you have a (relatively) safe space to work on the rest of the build, as well as a means to deactivate the spawner when you aren't using the farm.

this is as efficient as you can get in the game... spawner spawning is a bit random but you should average ~500 per hour
If you find two spawners next to each other in a fortress you can combine them into one farm to get more blazes
Thanks a ton man :) i really needed fuel for my super smelter, and this helps a ton!
happy to help :)
Does this depend on the blaze's AI? My server has a plugin which allows you to mine Spawners with silk touch. However, the mobs spawner do not have any AI. I was just wondering if this would work with a placed spawner.
Thx!
with no AI they may spawn on the top and not walk off which would break it
I don't even have this built yet but im looking
forward to doing it. Great tutorial and have a nice day!
glad you like it :)
@@EagleEye621 Good news, I have it built and it is very, VERY efficient!
this thing spits out blazes like its nothing!
I was doing this on 1.16.1 but lava flows everywhere
not sure that that means?
@@EagleEye621 that in the nether lava works like water, so it goes 8 blocks in each direction, and not just 4 like in the overworld. However you can just add 4 block in each direction (only at the lava layer) and you're perfectly fine.
I upgraded my clunky 1.14 blaze farm (think alternating levels of trap doors) today using this design. Much more efficient and safer! I might even start using rods for fuel. Not sure why it took 3.5 months to recommend, but better late than never. Thanks!
be sure to sub and hit that bell to get notified without delay :P
hope you caught my land mine video dropped yesterday so you are prepared for some serve shenanigans
@@EagleEye621 I subbed. Better late than never for that too. lol
@@SirLyonhart your punishment for waiting is telling all of your friends to sub as well :P
@@EagleEye621 That may not work out the way you hope. None of my friends play Minecraft. And there are only 6 anyway.
@@SirLyonhart I watched minecraft on youtube before I ever played... just saying :P
My lava doesn’t go close to the 2x2 in the middle. 10x10 internal dimensions
did you build it in the overworld with some sort of spawner re-locator? use water instead of lava
EagleEye621 yes, in the over world. Still used lava I worked it out just need about 5 or so times the lava and it all works fine now
This is really simple but effective! I love this farm!
glad you like it :)
Also i built it in my survival and it works really well! You just gained a sub!
Can i use this with a duble blaze spawner and i use lava to push all the blazes in one killing chamber?
Btw great tutorial!
absolutely :)
But with how slow lava pushes mobs you're just as well make two kill chambers setting up trident killers and afk ing in between depending on how far apart they are you should be able to run one for rods and the other for exp
Great farm and really efficient, much better than pre 1.16.x farms. Good tutorial, thanks.
Is there a way to disable the spawner during construction? Like placing torches all over it. Or is there no way to stop spawning durning construction
lots and lots of light or block the spawning spaces... but better thought may be to pop a fire resistance potion and a turtle master potion and then they are more annoying than dangerous :)
I cant even keep up
One awesome farm after another! These are great!
just keep them in a list and come back when you are ready :)
tysm for this money maker in the server I'm on
happy to supply it... hope you subbed for more money makers :P
@@EagleEye621 yes i did
Great farm thank you, built two of these beside each other and am loving it
glad you like it :)
is there a substitute for the vines I don't have access to them right now.
nvm I just watched it, thanks tho :D
guessing you saw the ladders? also, if you are going to be watching it the whole time (not going afk for a while) you don't need any of them :)
You are very good at explaining this thank you
thanks for watching :)
Legend has it he still likes the comments to this day
takes him a little longer than it used to... but he does manage to find most of them :)
@@EagleEye621 But u still like even if I st an old vid
Thank you sooooooooooo much, the video was very clear and informative.
glad you like it :)
The blaze in my farm just keep flying upwards and severely slows the spawning rate down.
What do I do?
sounds like you didn't fully enclose it?
@@EagleEye621 its fully enclosed other than the hole in the middle of the floor.
Same problem here. I don't know it is related but I stand the same level at the spawner in order to keep in range of 2 spawner and I dont think they track me i wonder around and they don't look like to follow me.
Try adding two blocks on top of the spawner
Works like a charm!! Thanks a ton !
glad you like it :)
But the main question is: Where do I get all the lava?
yeah... that is going to be tough... the Nether is known to not have much lava :p
EagleEye621 btw, I love your videos - you have the best farms and you explain everything in detail... you really should have more subscribers
Go to the End. Loads!!!! of lava there! :-p
@@JohnDavidSullivan no, theres lots of lava in the end void. you wont take any damage there
@@swaaaft its a dangerous place, i mean the void is nothing compared to the lava!
Works perfectly!
I'm on Realm 1.16.5 Java.
Build it properly and it will work perfectly!
Thank you man! :)
glad you like it :)
The blaze in my farm are flying up for no particular reason so they aren't getting pushed by the lava. idk if this is a bug but they are just flying upwards. Help please.
not being pushed by the lava? are you playing in java 1.16 (as per the title)?
They are getting pushed by the lava, it's just that they are flying to the roof of the spawner as if they are getting agro or something. I am playing in 1.16.4
Same happened to me. They all congregated on top of the spawner. Just add two blocks on top between it and the ceiling and they will start to spawn normally
Yay, i really needed that, thanks
always happy to be the supplier :)
how many blocks high is the whole thing?
two AIR blocks above the spawner, then the roof is above that
Thanks! I'm having hard time searching for coal and i was planning for simple blaze farm.
perfect timing :)
also, you may want to check out my auto charcoal build if you have some extra wood :)
@@EagleEye621 Will do.!
Brooooo thx
Do you need the vines
thanks for watching... :) ... and no if you are not going to afk at the farm for long?
much apreciated! thanks a lot!
keep uploading more stuff man :D
glad you like it :)
oh boy!! Just one of the things I really wanted to farm! I guess it really was worth it to subscribe ya at least for me ;)
Thanks
glad you like it :) ... and make sure your friends get a similar benefit :p
@@EagleEye621 haha if only my friends ever had played Minecraft that is... 😅😭
@@randompersononinternet01 you know... I watched people play minecraft on youtube before I bought the game... was one of the reasons I ended up getting it. Might be a sneaky way to get your friends to start playing and end up with a fun server :)
