- Kinda my 3 levels of blaze farms in minecraft. But level 1 is bulk standard and level 2 is a riff of an old fortress farm.

The blaze farm with smoke from campfires should be called the Snoop Dog farm. Also blazes are 1.8 blocks tall so you can make 2 block tall plataforms with trapdoors (like a creeper farm) and that prevent piglins, withers and magmas from spawning. On my farm i use that in a double intersection with 2 blue ice plataforms and ghasts on minecarts to push the blazes, i get about 7 shulkers/h (12k/h). Great video btw.
Touche, I forgot about ghast extraction. I knew about the block height but didn't have a way to extract the blazes from swapping platform. I'll pin this for future viewers
@@Stromne you could also make a 2 high spawning plataform by making the floor with glazzed terracota or something that doesnt stick to slime, make a 1 tall flying machine in the lower block and on the top block use the small amethist bud as a replacement for the trapdoors.
9:20 I know that kind of relatively simple farm is generally left "forever on", but I personally like to always have a switch for any farm. I remember that by using dispensers with lava in the ceiling at the right distance (so that they will create lava columns to bright up the whole space), you can make a farm switch with redstone. Again, not necessary, but if you don't like having blazes constantly spawning when you don't want to use the farm, that's one way to go.

Having a renewable blaze source is also good for end rods, if you are making a mega structure in survival that will require a lot of end rods. And its good for renewable magma blocks, if you dont want to make a magma cube farm for some reason.
Nether wart and warped wart blocks are not spawnable for Piglins, but can still spawn fortress mobs. So if you use those for the spawning platform in the second farm, you will only get blazes!
Also, huge amounts of blaze rods are useful for crafting end crystals for anarchy servers, but at that point, your limitation is often times sand/glass as sand dupers are disabled/not viable.
You could include boat looting with the third level farm, it can boost the spawning rate
You can also use crimson wart, zombified piglins can't spawn on those if I am not mistaken

Zombie piglins are too tall to spawn under a top trap-door, but blazes aren't. So you can use that trick to make a blaze-only farm.
Saw your design and always thought these other blaze farms are a bit too slow. I don't think mine will be as complex but I will certainly use the portal mechanics.
Blaze rods are surprisingly good fuel source, but you also have lava lakes nearby, so...
I believe only blazes can spawn on netherwart blocks, so campfires aren't necessarily. I saw that on the TMC archive
Even with the default spawner you let us know how to spawnproof it, while all those 1001 tutorials dont and I just cant imagine how many deaths I will have if I dont know the pattern trick! Does version one really need to be encased in glass?

Zombie pigmen can't spawn on nether wart blocks, if you use those for the spawning platform for the level 2 farm the rates will be slightly higher
No mobs can spawn on nether wart blocks.

Might be a big ask but could you do a vid on perimeters. So each level is the time taken to remove all the blocks. Just because most of your ‘approaching OP’ farms are in a perimeter. Also loving this series and it’s getting me back into TMC.

Btw for the last farm, the nether portal, weren't the feature/bog where mobs could spawn in portal removed in the later version? Or is it for 1.20?
It hasn't happened, though it was hinted it would happen in a later update, though I'm a little skeptical it would happen since Mojang did decrease the light level for wither skeletons in 1.19.3 with the explicit intent on nerfing portal farms, like they could have gone all out and prevent all portal spam farms but they didn't.

In level 3 blaze farm do I have to spawn proof 128 block from the afk area or I just can make it in a soul sand valley and spawn proof the fortress only and the farm will work but the rates will be slow
Is there any reason that there is a hole in the bedrock above the fastest farm? Does it work regardless?

Tbh this farm design is the easiest to build. Requires no nether portals and the rates give you enough shells that you never need shulkers ever again. But I agree 3 levels of shulker shell farm would be pog.

portal spam for level 3? you changed. the old stromne wouldnt have spammed portals

1. you don't need netherbricks for material of the spawning skirts
2. you don't need 3 layers of spawning skirts
3. those spawning skirts do nothing if you don't remove the nether ceiling bedrocks first
1 false: spawning rules outside the inner structures require nether bricks as described and shown by carpet mod.
2 false they need nether bricks at their feet to start a blaze pack spawn.
3 false: see number 2
The nether bricks change what types of mobs can spawn for that block. Normally you'd be correct but because these are fortress mobs and not biome mobs, you need the bricks and skirts to induce the pack spawns for blazes and not the regular biome mobs.
I tested it and I am sure it's the case. I use glass blocks for example and the rate didn't change. have you tested it?
Here's my result for a single crossroad wither skeleton farm (nether ceiling removed):
no spawning skirt: 8531/hr
single glass layer: 12418/hr
three glass layer: 12091/hr
one nether brick layers: 11448/hr
three nether brick layers: 10011/hr

the appendages are called rods of course. You are swinging at their rods.
14000 rods per hour can keep 466 furnaces running non-stop, smelting 168,000 items per hour.
8:45: The activation range of a spawner is 16 blocks not 22 unless 1.19.3 changed that.

I made a diamond farm and I made one part mine it automatically and the other part just catch the diamond blocks and it recycle and I got 64 64 64 diamonds in my inventory
Why does it need to go back into the nether seems they were already falling down a shoot in the over world couldn’t you just use a load stone in the nether 🤷🏽♂️
