@@WillGoodlet agree still busy with our Nov Kgalagadi trip video's. Did not even start with our Dec Kruger trip photo's.... loadshedding not helping either.
Good to see you back. As a new wildlife and nature photography RUclipsr from Canada, I was very much enjoying, but missing, your great and inspirational content. Keep it up!
Thanks for watching! It was from my most recent trips in October. The hilly area is Mountain Zebra National Park and the flat dusty area is Nxai pan in Botswana
I can watch this for hours so relaxing with that nice guitar music. I think the quality of this footage is amazing! Isnthat wooden bridge I'm south africa? I remember something like that when we where in botswana but they probably all look the same. Grt guido
Hi Guido, thanks for watching. You're right the bridge is in Botswana :) I'm struggling with the 1080p on the M50. It looks mushy at any kind of distance, which is a pity because it is very convenient for shots inside the vehicle. Still working on it and trying to match all the other cameras. You will know how annoying this is!
@@WillGoodlet whaha yeah that stuff can be a struggle. Can they calibrate it? I know there is a company here specialised in that kind of stuf. Isnthis new footage from botswana? Happy to see you're on the road again 😀
What an amazing video Will! I really miss being out in the bush and can't wait for our next trip - BTW same Landy as yours (same green, white roof etc). Not sure if you have the 2.2L or like ours the 2.4L. Hopefully we'll bump into you some day out in the sticks ! Thank you for sharing :D
@@WillGoodlet Awesome - yes remember the 90 in a birding video you did some time back. Ours is also a 2011 - love it! We'll hopefully see you out there. Thanks for all the inspiring videos you've made. Really appreciate it!
Thanks Robert. It bit way back in 1991. I travelled through the whole of Southern Africa in a Baja bug as a 19 y.o. sadly I only had a couple of rolls of 24mm to record that absolutely epic adventure. My travels are somewhat curtailed by my domestic situation.
Great stuff Will, both relaxing and atmospheric. We’re in the course of arranging a South Africa trip for next year. Cape Town, the Garden Route and Pumba Game Reserve. Your videos have been the inspiration. Maybe Kruger the following year..🤔🙂
That was just fantastic Will. The country in the beginning with the eagles is just like here in the Flinders Ranges, and I used to have a Defender, or two. Still have an old Disco and a middle-aged Range Rover.
Thanks Lisa! I've just been browsing some pics of the Flinders. I like big country like that. Lot's of space between things to remind us how small we are :)
Awesome story telling. This was like vitamins for a frozen Norwegian. Its minus 14 c outside now. I hope you and your family are doing well. Cheers Will.
Oh, thanks for that Will. Made me miss Africa…. It reminded me how funny some elephants are and hate sharing a waterhole with other animals. Can’t wait for January ! Regards Ray
Hi Will, yes, it’s been a very cold winter. We are currently in the midst of a 3 day blizzard with windchills as low as -40 degrees F. All roads in Southern Minnesota are closed due to lack of visibility and snow drifts. When the wind breaks tomorrow I will be back out with the camera! Thanks again for what you do for photographers and for showing us the the beauty of the natural world! Take care!

Haha so sorry Stefanus! I'm trying to develop some better skills with software so I can make these videos more quickly.
Great video Will - thank you! Can you share any info on the window-mounted gimbal you’re using please? Thanks again!
Thanks. It’s a gimprogear door mount made by @ralphpollack there is a review video on my channel

Hey Will, thanks for a great video, you have this way of telling a story and making me wanna grab my camera and just get out there.
That's the best possible motivation for me to make more. Thanks Terence!
Nice choice of music. Would be great to know the artist and titles - you often have music that speaks to my thirst to be out in the mystic. : )

Thanks for sharing Will! Sitting here watching it snow and it was a nice reprieve. Take care!
Simple 👍
