I saw an interesting swap for these V6 trucks. Instead of LS they swapped in a SBC because of the 4.3 architecture already in place. Obviously an LS isn't too hard either but it sure was neat to see! I'm one of the few counties in Texas with emissions testing so super off the table for me.

I've got a HD Set on my '95 C3500 Single Cab Dually to compensate for ball load on my Gooseneck as well as rear hitch. It allows me 13,000lbs with 800 tongue load on the back hitch and 30,000lbs with 2,500lbs ball weight. I'll be adding helper bags on my '99 Classic C2500 as well for when I am towing both my Gooseneck and 24' enclosed for when I'm headed to shows to show off three King Midget cars as well as my vintage motorcycles. Nice to know that these are also suitable for 1500 1/2 ton trucks to help level as well as for load leveling. I may pick up a GMT400 1/2 ton C1500 for a daily and it'll be able to tow my smaller trailers. There's nothing at all wrong with those 4.3 V6's!! I've had many and put hundreds of thousands of miles on them with very little regular maintenance. They just don't quit! Beautiful Sierra!! Cheers! Zip~

I have them on my 2005 crew cab on a 4/6 drop, sadly I’ve blown 4 bags of these already. Reason why is because I have a under bed weld on notch and my brackets were welded onto the notch and they’ll rub against my rear end.. they’re badass to have tho

Im sold on these, i was worried on my rear flip kit being too low and allowing the wheels to hit my quarter panel but these would work just fine for adjustment.
So these bags at 5 lbs resting are short enough bracket to bracket to fit on a flipped leaf setup I have a 93’ c1500 Been doing research and looking for a set that will accommodate a true 6-7” flipped axle Was the upper bag bracket made to accommodate the c notch bolt locations exactly that was strange that the bracket matched the bolt pattern.. made me wonder if the notch was also from that company

Hi, I had the same set up on my 15’ Silverado. Someone rear ended my truck n when the rear bumper got replaced. Lost the shrader valve. Got 2 questions for u: 1) do u know the p/n for the shrader valve? 2) can this be hooked up with a small compressor n control it from the cab?

Are these universal and will they work for my 2019 Silverado crew cab with a 4/6 Belltech lowering kit? It’s c-notched just like your truck. I’ve noticed lately my truck has bottomed out a few times with these terrible Bay Area streets, but also I need to haul a trailer, so helper bags will be needed.

TWA Motorsports it’s like a maintenance free version of these air bags. Doesn’t level it out on the fly but once they get compressed so much they help out the axle. They replace the bump stop. It’s like a tall fat version of a bump stop
There 2 McGaughys helper bags on Amazon both work with 7 in rear drop which one is the one you put on? The one in the description looks like different to the one you put on your truck.
Was your spring pin head tall enough to capture the bag plate and the block? I am about to do the same kit on my 5/7 dropped '16 silverado and the bag plate is pretty thick.

It would definitely handle that load. I always have them on hauling trucks. As for renting vs this. I prefer to use my own but that's me.

Don't need that much storage. I put a compressor on my gray crew cab cateye on the channel.

It helps a lot. I have ran them with no notch and it doesn't hit on 07 and up. I have always had a notch on 07 and under.

My truck is on a 3/8 drop will these work on a drop like that and it’s got the bolt on notch

no. they would not fit at that drop. You will need something custom.
Yea i figuered not direct Bolt on but i was thinking about welding the brackets instead of bolting them , do you think that would work ?
