Holy cow Travis Thursday evening already this week is flying by.. I'm just getting home from work and going to have dinner with my wife and tune in to your video 👍
@@TWAMotorsports holy cow all them wires makes me crazy.. I'm not a huge fan of wires. The previous owner of my 94 TA had then neon lights tubes that ran under the frame rails and under the front old kmember ugh I removed all the clutter along with the amp and the subwoofer box where the ttops are supposed to go when you take them out.. who ever installed it before I bought it had at least 2' of Left over wire that was tucked away in the pop up headlight area.. not to mention they also installed a viper alarm as well.. yep I removed all that crap. All them wires makes me nutty..
Great video Travis. I needed that on my truck today. Lol. Without a load, it gives it that old school rake. It works really. Take it easy tomorrow and have a good weekend.
The Wireless One setup from AirLift is awesome. I have that on my 2020 F350 because I have run the air compressors in the cab before and I didnt want to do all that again. Wireless was well worth the money. I love being able to adjust my bags going down the road . But the cheaper setup made more sense for your setup. You aint dragging 16k worth of trailer on this truck. Great video
I have the dual gauge set up on my truck which is nice to have this way if one bag is not the same as the other you can deflat the one that needs to be the same pressure
Definitely a sweet setup, I ahve same truck as yours with a 2/6 drop and chose to go with air shocks with shock extenders instead and bought a ryobi handheld compressor to keep in the truck with a full battery for just incase lol, definitely does the job well for what it is lol
@@TWAMotorsports Definitely would look kinda odd someone not knowing what was happening, with a hand compressor pumping air into what looks like the gas tank because i have the schrader valve mounted right above the gas cap 😂😂
I lowered my 2008 GMC Yukon Denali 3/6 but I want to know which helper bags you recommend. There are some that look like 10/12 inches tall and there are others that look like 5-6 inches tall. I want it to be comfortable to ride and not feel the bumps as much.
Hey Travis, just purchased the airlift kit today. Been following your builds and feel confident to install this. Did you find what fuse you tied in to? Thanks brotha
Just got a Silverado 03 that instead of spare tire has an air compressor, that by the way doesn’t even work. Reason why I got a new spare and need to remove the compressor, unless I’ll be able to make it work. Does anybody recommend keep it on and put it back to work instead of get spare back ? Thanks
Travis. I bought a Beltech 2/4 kit with the spindles and shocks. I see that you replaced your springs when you lowered yours. Should I buy springs as well? I pretty much plan on R&R my control arms as well as you did.
Hey Travis I’m just lowering it with the 2/4 kit. Was just wondering while I’m there should I change the springs? Also glad to know you know my guy Matt from GPTuning too! Great guy who’s helped me with parts and information for my TBSS, 84 Monte Carlo SS, C6 Corvette 🤘🏼🇺🇸
What did your angles end being on this truck prior to the bags? Did you have your DS modified after or were you able to use stock DS? My angles ended up being out of whack.
@@TWAMotorsports i have the same truck as u but idk why it says it doesn't fit... i click the link too... then they have that thing that says check if it fits and at the end it said it didn't...

You need neon light. They are making a come back. Lol
@@TWAMotorsports lol.. good one...not for me though.. I'm not into the disco mobile look...
@@TWAMotorsports are you going to remove the sticker on your white TA where the car was bought?
Man this truck looks so good now bud. Complete turn around for sure. Keep up the great work.
Thank you.
Just literally got my Mcgaughys bags in a couple hours ago…..thanks for twisting my arm on buying a compressor kit now!!!!
Good shit
Lol. Sorry.
I use a handheld Ryobi compressor lol

Yesssss nothing like coming home from work and watching you work on your trucks and learning new stuff everyday 💪🏽
Lol. Thank you
This reminds me of when I had air ride on my truck in the late 1990's.
Kinda but a way better ride when not filled
The daily driver looks great. Wanting to add the kilmat to my Tahoe.
Thank you Kyle. Definitely worth some extra quiet and stops some rattling
great video Travis ! This truck has come so far !
Thank you. Getting there slowly

I bet that is nice.
@@TWAMotorsports yes it is and it's made by airlift
I saw that when I bought this one
Man that 70s 50 50 bar is on one!!!!
Lol
Man, earlier you posted pricing if someone really wanted to buy the truck, I still can't believe the mileage it has, the paint looks showroom quality!
It's not showroom by any means be pretty decent
@@TWAMotorsports Well I guess it must be the camera quality but I'm telling you that thing shines!
It is shiny

Hooked up to fuse box for switched 12 volts
I live in aurora and I have an 07 Silverado 2wd when you doin my 4/6 drop lol
Lol. I wish I had time
I Can use the same kit compresor on my silverado 2009 i have the same air bags thanks
Nope
@@TWAMotorsports you have a link for that model silverado 2009 with firestone air bags

I have showed options in other videos on the channel.
How's the ride quality with helper bags compared to trucks without them?
A little stiffner depending on the amount of air in them
Hey just wondering would this compressor kit also work with airshocks?
Yes
Hey Travis, just purchased the airlift kit today. Been following your builds and feel confident to install this. Did you find what fuse you tied in to? Thanks brotha
I just found a switch 12 volt
Perfect guy to ask since you have lowered trucks and you tow... what hitch do you use? Thanks Travis
Stock hitch
@@TWAMotorsports do you use an adjustable trailer hitch?
Flip a 2 inch upside down
So what compressor u used in the bottom it shows two kits
Not heavy duty

Depends on how low you want.

Springs are only needed for additional drop.
What brand of air bags did you use

what are those bags for ?
Leveling with a trailer on
Will you selling this one in the future? If so, please let me know I need a pick up especially four door.
Yes probably.
Looking nice 👍
Thank you
What size are the rims and tires

Where did you get that bed cover from?
Amazon. Link in video description
Those damn hitches are heavy. I have a big ass dent in my CTS front fender where mine fell over when I had it off to do my flip kit on my 04. 😅
They are crazy heavy

I didn't modify the driveshaft. All angles seemed good
@@TWAMotorsports damn! Perfect truck then. I’m not so fortunate.
@@TWAMotorsports thanks Travis
@@Bushspaperplanes you're welcome
Sometimes they need some tweaks. Mine has a slight vibration at 65 mph but it doesn't bother me enough to fix it.
The cover for the bed from Amazon says it doesn't fit

Yes. I would for $14000

They don’t sell those helper bags no more
I bought them a month ago
