I love using these tins for my candles, the rose gold is gorgeous ❤ I would recommend to remove the foam from the lid. It’s easily done by pinching it. I always worry that someone will extinguish their candle by putting the lid back, and if the flame hits the foam, it could be a fire hazard ❤
It’s wonderful how you share your process with all. I enjoy watching your videos, learning, wondering about the processes. It helps me to keep my mind busy with something beautiful. So thank you.
I totally feel your pain with the wick trimmers 😅 I switched to using diagonal cutting pliers- way more comfortable for cutting dozens of wicks at once and you can get a really clean cut with minimal pressure. Just something that might save some pain in the future ❤
I love your videos, I know I said that to you before, but I really do!!🥰🥰🥰 When I watch your videos in parts(busy life🙈) or re-watch them, I keep wanting to press like button, just to find out I already did😅
Well ma'am, you've given me an idea for wedding favors! 🤩 How stinking cute would this beeeeeeeee!! Thank you for sharing! Any idea on how long these burn?
wicking is my least favorite part too but I often put on a podcast, an audiobook, or listen to a youtube video (like these!) while I wick my jars & tins and it feels a lot more mindless and enjoyable now 🌸
It’s a heat gun! It’s used to clean the pouring pitchers by melting the leftover wax and wiping it clean. It is also used to heat up the pouring pitchers before pouring in the wax. This helps the wax not drastically cool down right as it touches the cold pitcher.
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo I was thinking that would be best. Someone said they leave thiers on but id be afraid of burnt wax. Im looking at getting a digi, How long does it take to melt/heat up? I use a soylite right now
I use those same containers, but use a different wick. I watched your video wondering why you used tea light wicks. Tea lights are 1” in diameter and these tins are 1 1/2”. So, just to see if it would actually work, I wick tested. As I suspected, the wick is too small and it tunneled. Did you get lip balm sized tins (1/2. Oz)? I think they would work on those.
These tealight containers are 1.5” in diameter and worked really well with my combo of 0.75 eco wicks and soy 10, I didn’t have any tunneling issues :)
They DM’d me on IG and said they saw my video where I showed how I made 1 oz matte black tins and asked if I would be able to make them 200 in another color other than black. They had a time frame so I did my best to research what I could get in the time frame and we just agreed to the color, scents, custom label design and price! ❤️
Can I ask what kind of money is involved on selling one person 200 of the 1oz tins? Is it profitable? Not being nosey, just curious if this kind of product can make money.
Here’s the tins I used!

May the glow of success illuminate your path as you embark on your 200 mini candle order, lighting up hearts and creating unforgettable moments.👍
Could you give us an idea of how you price these candles?
I did the 2oz tin for someone and used the rest for my fall collection on my instagram and it was very beautiful. Your rose-gold is very amazing ❤
I am going through it trying to wick the 2 oz 😅 omgeeee, just using soy 10, I have to make 75 and i have yet to find a wick I am happy with 🤦🏻♀️🤣

I'm a new candle maker and I too have thought about doing smaller tins for weddings and baby showers. Nice video

I do too ☺️
Love them , they’re so pretty ❣️
I have been considering trying these candle tins for several months! Thank you so much for sharing this video.
These look lovely, and your process looks so efficient.
Loved the video! Please do a video about how you find clients for wholesale candles for party favors like weddings, baby showers etc

Awww that’s so sweet!! Thank you so much! ☺️
I wish there was a sample one! I would’ve loved to see what your label looked it.. 😊 all in all they look beautiful!
Hi, can you please make more videos like this making and packaging the candles? I love these videos and i miss these videos from you.
Aww I know I need to make more videos like this! I will mark it down in my planner ❤️
Looks beautiful 😻
I was looking into doing favors as well my friend is currently my first client for her wedding
They all look so pretty. Great video.
Thank you! 🌷
These turned out so cute!!
How do you clean your piston between scents? Do you have a different piston for each scent in your line?
we just use a heat gun and paper towels :)

Those turned out so cute!!!
I was so happy with them and so was our customer!
They look beautiful ❤
I just got these 1oz tins in gold for my free samples :) This was a fun video Erica xx
Very nice!
Erica. On the warning label...For white label, events like weddings and even private label - do you add your own website?
I don’t include my website but legally I have to include who the candle is manufacturer by and my city, state and zip code
Where do you buy your wick trimmer? I bought one but it's only for 2nd burn so can't use to trim my wicks when i make a candle
I had the same problem. One day, I just used a new toe nail clipper, and it's been the perfect tool.
Do you have a link on amazon for the tins? I can’t find them
Do you plan to use the tea light wicks on the 2oz tins as well?
How long did it take the two of you to make those 200 candles, start to finish?
These turned out beautifully. Are they the 1oz tin?
wicking is my least favorite part too but I often put on a podcast, an audiobook, or listen to a youtube video (like these!) while I wick my jars & tins and it feels a lot more mindless and enjoyable now 🌸
From where you purchase surface table?
How long do these small candles burn for?
A few hours! They are tea lights so not really meant to be burned for long periods of time :)
hello Memory Box Candles Co how are you? What size wick do you use? can you use a tealight wick in it?
They were eco 0.75 tealight wicks!
What u did at 6:50- 6:60 with that gun thing? What is that? 6:54

do you keep your digi boils on all the time or turn them on each time? weird question but i saw it in one of my candle groups and im curious now 🤣
Oh we always turn them off! I don’t think it would be good to keep them on all the time. We only turn them on when making candles :)

@@MemoryBoxCandleCowhat size labels did you use
hello what do you use to stick the wick in the tins?
wick sticker tabs :)
And how did you package these?
What size labels did you use?
What is a the size of the container you are using?

@@MemoryBoxCandleCo lucky you. I had so hoped it would work for me too, but alas not to be.
I think I have heard 2 wick sizes, which wick size for the 1.5 oz tin here ? I am a confused newbie here lol
@@tcooper802 I use a wooden wick. Size 2 - .375 whisper. You could use crackling I suppose.
How do people place orders for candles like this, that are not listed on your website?

Do you pre-heat your piston funnel?
If you re-Watch you’ll see Chris does pre-heat them👍🏻
And how about 5 oz as an option?
Please ma’am if you making 1oz let’s say 30pcs of them how do you calculate the fragrance percentage??? It’s really confusing
I would start w the warning labels first ☺️
I started doing that, it makes me feel better knowing that I get those put on first and I know they’re on ☺️
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo ☺️☺️☺️
Please share amazon link for these tins thanks
Just added it as a pinned comment :)
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo thanks you're the best

hi dear, we are aluminum jars manufactuerer in China, would you like to have try on our food grade aluminum tins?
A candle this size makes no sense at all
If it is for wedding favors , gifts , or for samples why wouldn't it make sense? No one can afford to give out more product
