- Pablo takes out the ES750RS 991 TTS to run a very fast 900+ whp C7 Z06 built by LMR. Sadly, the Z06 owner has flipped a lid after losing both races and has checked into a psych ward for mental health rehabilitation. Let’s all wish him well and a healthy recovery back to normalcy.

Don't see that. Saw the vette pulling the 911 until his 4/5 gear change shit the bed. 2nd race over when the 911 got the jump.
Maybe hes using the paddles on the Z06. Can't use them they react too slow. Just use manual get the gear then after WOT go back to D quickly. Only way to roll race a Z06/ZR1 auto.

If he didn't want to lose, he should not have had a passenger or stage 3 wicker bill spoiler in the back. Those drag the car down by a lot in addition to convertibles being heavier than coupes. The A8 in C7s is far from the best transmission, but that shouldn't really be the deciding factor.

@@pooter2586 sounds like someone is just a little bit butt hurt. I mean what is there to be upset about? From what I can see in the video you showed up on stock tires and barely lost to a well engineered car. You would probably get that re-match if you shook hands, congratulated the winner, and left it at that. Instead it seems that it's just another case of someone wrapping their entire feeling of self-worth around their car/racing so when they lose it's too hard for them to swallow and you lash out. Dude it's racing...not Pokemon...you can't catch them all. What I find funny is that this isn't even BoostifFowards fast car and people still get all bent out of shape when losing!!!

FYI - he was actually on tire at the time of the race. If there was one thing the car did very well, it was hooking from a lower roll for a rwd car on the street.

I'm not surprised. The 911 turbo S is NO JOKE. There was a thread on the forum about the comparison between the C7 z06 and the 911 turbo s and everyone was talking shit about the 911 saying it's not a good car lol. Oh it's too expensive. Oh it's ugly. This and that this and that. I am a corvette owner and i know when there's a better car. A 911 turbo s is a better car over the c7 z06, PERIOD. The 8 speed auto GM put is GARRRRRRRBBBBBAGGGEEEEE. I think a manual C7 z06 will do a bit better but watching the runs, i think the 911 would have won anyway. The power is seamless and continuous. And nothing can beat the shifts on the PDK.
He is right on the aero bits since it looks like he has the stage 3 aero so that does affect speed from 120+. Which was when the 911 was starting to pull little by little.
Corvette owners usually fear porsches because they know it's a level up from it, car wise. So they are brainwashing themselves to hate that car for that reason. Not me, i love a 911 turbo. But i bought a corvette because it's cheaper lol. And it has a v8. However if i was making more money, i would have gotten a 911 and not a corvette lol

If GM ever produces a c8 or c9 midengine Sledge Hammer Corvette and you got the dough, buy one. I know I will. They will probably cost about 170,000 to below 200,000 at sticker price, but this thing will hit above $1500 HP Stock and torque around there too. Will Break records too. Probably will be a Hybrid 7 liter Twin Turbo

Look man. The guy definitely had drifting issues. You won. We get it. You didnt have to be an asshole and call the dude out like that. Nobody cares about all the excuses he made after the race. All you had to do was just show good sportsmanship, acknowledge that you won, and let it be. Plus. You thrashing on the other dude's car after the race was very uncalled for. He had zero “drifting”’ issue. He was on a ET Street and dead hooked. Only issue he has is not being able to accept defeat.

Both cars are fast and vette would be faster if it didn’t have a passage and if transmission was working properly
Weight cuts your acceleration. 150lbs is equal to a car length at 100mph.
Just get a VBOX and get real/accurate data. You will quickly see which car is faster from X-XXX or XX-XXX. I'm betting the Corvette is faster from Any_speed -> 130. From 130 the Porsche is faster (prob due to Aero). These kinds of "races" are BS. 10 MS too early on the throttle and that car has a huge advantage. Aero is also a huge part of the equation. Obviously a car with more downforce, which is used for actual racing on a race track (not roll """"racing"""" on the highway) will have a huge handicap at speed.
