- Welcome to Episode 5 of our Top 5 places in the Salento in Puglia Italy. This video we take you to the stunning seaside town of Otranto, located on the East Coast of the heel of Italy in Puglia and is along the Adriatic Sea. We take you for a walk through the Historic centre, check out the Castello and visit the amazing crystal clear water of this amazing place. We also visit the nearby town and beach of Torre dell'Orso and Sant'Andrea and a visit to Cava di Bauxite a quarry lake known for its turquoise water, framed by jagged red rocks & set in a scrubby landscape.
