Yes I am contemplating doing a video on this, there is not a lot of time involved in the physical side of it but there is a process in it and knowing what to look for, quantities to feed etc. Thanks for watching and your suggestion.

Thank you for the kind words. I fell into making pizza during lockdown, many attempts and a couple of years of practice to get it to where I am now happy with it. Trial and error. I used to watch Vito RUclips channel the first couple of years and got quite a few tips from him. I didn't realise Vito opened a pizzeria in Bari, definitely have to visit next year. Thanks for letting us know. When are you in Italy next year? We will be there from May. ❤

You can see the people here genuinely take pride in their town and are so warm and inviting. These 2 towns were great that they had a railway station and bus service so they were easily accessible. What a great question! Well as you know I am Sicilian and love all things Sicilian but purchased it Puglia. We had 3 regions on our list Sicily, Tuscany and Puglia. The reason we chose Puglia over Sicily was its geographic position. Many a time we have been there and had many challenges with transport as did our friends and family members. Between Mt Etna ash falls, transport strikes every other week and last year with the fires, flights were cancelled and the only way off the island was to make your way to Messina port and get a ferry with a 3 day queue due to the backlog of tourists trying to leave. Hence we chose to be on the mainland and Puglia is southern Italy and very similar to Sicily with its weather and baroque architecture and warm, friendly people. Tuscany is our next adventure. We are looking there for a second home. Thank you for watching the pizza is good!!!! 🙂😋💛🍕

Thank you for the feedback and yes the garbage is an ongoing problem in a lot of places in the south. We have the same problem in southern Puglia where we bought our house. The town mayors are becoming more aware of this and more is being done, fortunately there is more beauty that exceeds this challenge and more and more are visiting Sicily for its raw, natural beauty.

Thank you for your loyalty and watching our Sicily series. Your family sounds like mine and many others I've spoken to who migrated in the 1950s. I think its wonderful that the next generation wants to learn about their roots and discover where their grandparents came from. I hear and see so much of this. I too feel like a fish out of water born in Australia to Sicilian parents who bought us up as Sicilians and now I go back to Italy every year where I feel more at home. It's a crazy full circle. Hi Rocio so glad the videos are helping you. Through our research to date a small bathroom like ours would cost around 1200-1500euro per square metre depending on the quality of the fixture and fittings. We estimate our bathroom renovation will be in the vicinity of 6000-7000euro that will be removing tiles and new shower glass screen, toilet, bidet, vanity, led mirror, tiles and removing of rubbish materials. I believe anything over 1500euro per square meter is overpriced. If you get a quote under 1200euro per square metre is a great deal. Of course it also depends which region.
